The plants have taken to their Earthboxes, especially #1 with the BuildASoil Light. The Earthbox with my Coots mix was the runt, plus I damaged the roots during transplant so it has an uphill battle, but I wouldn't count it out yet. It was looking droopy and with slight discoloration, but after a drench of Kashi Blend Tea (1/3 cup Kashi Blend, 1 teaspoon blackstrap molasses in 1 gallon of water for 24 hours) it perked right up. As for preventative pest management, I've kept doing foliar applications every 4 days of EM-FPE -> EM-1, next week I will incorporate the just-finished EM-5. I made a JADAM wetting agent (JWA) but I have realized even local bottled water is too mineral-heavy for it, so I will need to find a source of distilled water if I want to use it in my foliar regime. Next week I will begin doing LST to get some more tops going. At some point I plan to add a trellis, I have been busy with work but I will find the time to set up something, preferably a trellis that can move with the Earthbox to facilitate maintenance and not have them fixed in place for the entire training and flowering cycles.

********** Week 2 of flower - Sept 26 to Oct 2/20 *********** It has been an exciting week with finding a crack in a main stem and started new supplemental nutrients as well. On Sept 28 I found a crack and had to do some repairs. Gorilla Girl was better off than one of the Cream 47’s with a cracked stem. GG4 was caught early enough that she didn’t separate much at the base. Looks to be as though I have caused the issue by topping the main stem a little too low😢 Coming back though and when tied together and looked after, its crazy how these plants can heal themselves😀💪👍 Took the tips from fellow growers and decided to try and fabric something with some cushion so that the straps holding the branches together don't cut into the branches. Needed another tool of the trade.......DYNAVAP to calm the nerves😀 because the grow has been going well and this set back has me pissed off as it is grower error😡 Seems to have worked out pretty well. Switching the PK booster at the end of the week to Big Bud and started to add Rezin from Green Planet. Not much for Bud Factor X left so will run with Terpinator and Rezin as a replcement. 2nd layer of SCROG netting added early in the week, Sept 27/20. They are pushing out a good amount of leaves now and stretching so need to provide that added support for down the road. IPM spray again this week, last opportunity, with Plant Therapy. There has been something in the tent and I think I have killed them. One more shot though to make sure and before there are too many bud sites. Love this product!!!!!! Works so well at getting rid of thrips and mites. Really good growth this week. I need these girls to stop now though!!!!! They getting really tall and have roughly 12” above the canopy now. The node stacking is really good and they are forming a number of colas. Looking very positive so far! This strain is so vigorous and she just want to go👍 They have gone from 18” tall to 34” in a week......crazy good growth. Little more detail........ Sept 26/20, Day 8 - Little heavier feed as they have not been watered for two days - 4L - CalMag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml - 830ppm and 5.7pH - will start to let the pH rise bit now over next couple of weeks - side branching doing very well and coming up. - GG4 a little bare in the middle of the plant with just four colas. Sept 27/20, Day 9 - 2nd SCROG layer added. - GG colas getting long........need to add more Silica as well. Sept 28/20, Day 10 - more microbes today - 4 L - Microbial Mass @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml - 290ppm and 6.3pH - pH was a little high but left it...wasn't moving and then boom,,,,,,,oh well. - Good amount of runoff today. - GG4 has one cola leaves not happy. Not sure if its light or wind. Moved the closest fan to her today. - GG1 shooting lots of branches right now. - GG4 bud stacking is happening already and doing very well. Sept 30/20, Day 12 - Heavier feeding today - 5L - CalMag, Vitathrive, Rezin @ 2ml Rhino Skin, Bud Candy, B52, Sensi Bloom @ 1ml. - repaired the cracked stem a little better tonight......not as bad for this girl. - Try and keep the paper towels wet now so the humidity is high around the wound. - Should have left a little more branch from the node above when cutting the top. Oct 1/20, Day 13 - Switching PK booster today to Big Bud......these two girls are past bud ignitor.....already stacking. - 3L - CalMag, Sensi Bloom, B52, Bud Candy, Big Bud @ 1ml - 665ppm and 5.9pH - Since these girls are so tall I am not going to give them Green Planet Massive. I find they get quite a bit taller with that product. I am looking for chunky and not tall so I will keep up with Advanced PK boost. - IPM spray tonight again with Plant Therapy. Think I have seen some bug damage on Cream 47 girls. That takes us to the end of week 11 in growth and week 2 of flower. Time will go quick now that we are off and running. Will be done feeding by early week 7. Want a good flush and leeching on these girls to get all the nutes out. I have been missing it by a few days on the last few auto runs and want this photo run to be better as I have a better track of weeks and when she will be done..........should be the end of week 9 to first days of week 10 of flower, about 7 more weeks. 11/14 Day 23 from flip. The stretch has been explosive, so much so that I’m beginning to have height concerns. I can probably add another trellis net and lower it down a little bit, but not by much. I just have to hope they level off soon. I’ve needed to turn the lights down every day or two, and even then I’m at almost 800 PAR / 34.6 DLI at the topmost part of the canopy. The majority is closer to about 725 PAR / 31.3 DLI so I’ll leave it there for now. 11/19 Day 28 from flip. Well, the stretch sadly hasn’t stopped. I was able to raise my lights a few extra inches but it’s now maxed out at the top of the tent. The topmost branch is about 12” away from the lights so this really is about as much as I can realistically handle. I realize Ethos was up front about sending this strain into flower earlier than normal due to the way it grows but this is really nuts. We’ve now easily tripled, if not almost quadrupled, in height and lord knows how much there is still to go. Stretch aside, everything else with the grow is bang on. Everything looks healthy, no signs of any disease or pests, every branch has solid airflow around it with nothing being too crowded. I just need the stretch to stop and everything will be great.

Week 5, days 35-38 Ztrawberry 1 pheno & Damn Sour 2 phenos Both strains are on a very different path. Ztrawberry has been in a bigger pot since the start and after been put in an 11L pot. Wow, she has thrived. She's gotten so big. I've actually decided to flip her. Her nodes are grown and she is fully ready to flip and the process of waiting will be short. I gave her the last grow feed a few days ago. Already still having grow mix as she was moved into a solo pot of grow/light/pebbles 40-40-20 from plagron. She's pushing so hard. There is a few ph issues and a few other stuff. No nutrient defs so nothing that would stop her moving to the next phase. Ztrawberry has been put in 12/12. More pics coming soon from week 4 Damn Sour Both phenos have been stuck in a 2L pot and was only transplanted into each 2L pot. Been giving master root and Enzymes + silica for stress. They've only been put in 2L pots a few days ago. 1 was very stressful as I practically had to pull her up with as much of the roots as possible. They are the sane age as Ztrawberry but they had no space. I will uppot them to 9L pots in a few weeks once the root zone has recovered. I really should have left them and uppoted to a bigger pot. But been so long in that pot. They wouldn't have reached out which is what's happened to my 2 lemon photos I kept too long in a 20L hydro pot. Was really as waste of time by the looks of it. I did read it, but somehow i didn't expect her to be this fast, so instead of boosting her a final time, i decided to start to flush allready. Today is day 63 i think this is insain how fast this big sativa looking buds where developed. I'm going to harvest her next week ,She is smelling freaking delicious, the diesel smell is still there but now with some sweet smell and also the lemon as well. I hope she is as tasty as all the smells coming from this wunderfull plant. The buds are a bid foxtailing, like a sativa she is building flower on flower. Thanks for checking 😋

As I did the flushing in day 68 I was watching the trichomes and on day 87 I could see 25-35% amber so I decided to cut it. I cut the whole plant on the base and hang them all to dry. For this reason I will update my findings later when it gets dry and trimmed. So far really happy with the results. It won’t yield much but the quality is impressive

Getting rather toasty in my sealed unairconditioned garage/car port grow 90f+. Having to adapt to extreme conditions is always challenging but I find silica works very well to help the old girls deal. Let it be said I much prefer the winter here in southern california for growing my buds!!! Anyone got any tips for growing in this kinda heat?
