2024-06-08 INDOOR: After the training is complete, i placed her into the Floweringroom Yesterday. She drinks alot around 2l every day, and i may have to fertilise soon, we will see, because i added athick layer if INSECTFRASS on the surface. OUDOOR The weather turned to very hot and humid- perfect for the Plant, she had a super Progress. Afghanistan / Brazil Type: Indica/Sativa Flowering: 63 Days THC: 29% Harvest: 1000 g/m2 Height: 150-205 cm Rating: Divine Seeds developed Opium as a new champion strain, unprecedently powerful and loaded with unbelievable quantities of resin. Certainly, no average genetic base could be behind such brilliant parameters! Several Afghani Indica landraces, recognized as most potent and resinous, were bred together with a mighty Brazilian Sativa which Opium inherits its bright berry taste from. Then a great deal of work followed aiming for the highest THC level and endurability as well as a branchy structure that would provide maximal yields. LAST FEED 7/7 7/8 I'm very excited with how my little grow is turning out. Preflower are forming on my mendo breath. Slurricanes are a little behind. I'm wondering when to switch to flower nutes. We will be getting thunderstorms today and this weekend. I obtained four blow up mattresses and cut them, zip tied them together and covered with gorilla tape. Since I didnt have enough lumber to frame the top of my fence I will not be able to use the rain guard tonight. I think they will be fine Having a frame that I could staple it too very quickly would be invaluable especially in the fall. 7/9 I added some additional supports last night. Glad I did as I have no damage and that was a huge storm. Preflowers are forming and smell is pungent. 7/10 Fog was heavy this morning but the sun is out now. Looks like it will be nice all day. I found a spider web at the bottom of a plant wrapped at the base of the stem. I've been killing pregnant spiders that will fold the leaves and web them together to hatch there babies in. The webs they weave are extremely durable. I swept up app webs which were easy to see do to the most and fog. I still see some pillar damage so I think you I might hit them with captain Jack's that way if I'm missing something I can spray before I transition to flower nutes. I watered today as I wasnt sure how much rain the plants had got and I didnt water yedterday. 7/11 It poured all night. It was the type of rain plants love. A bit heavy at times. I had to check plants with an umbrella. No damage. Everything looks good. I took no pictures due to the rain. As soon as I left it stopped raining. The sun came out yesterday and it was extremely humid. Plants seemed to love it. I'm really debating when I should switch to flower nutes. Went back later in the day. Sun came out and it was humid as hell. I took a couple pictures. 7/12 Heavy thunder showers gave way to sunny skies. I fed today and increased to 2tsp grow big and used micro bre instead of kango roots. It hasn't been a week yet but I will be away for a week and family will be caring for my plants. I will still monitor via security feeds and the morning through facetime. My plants seem to be doing super good and I hate to leave them even for a night. Oh well. I'll have to hope a masters in forestry and a masters on botany will suffice to care for my garden. Honestly I'd probably rather have a smelly hippie looking after them. At the local store brown tail moths coated the store. It was ridiculous. I applied BT heavily to my entire crop and actually say a few moths fly out from under the plants. It's been so dry the moths biggest predator (a form of algae) didnt grow. The CDC issued guidelines as they are poisonous. If you've never had problems with worms you might this year. 7/13 like I said family is watching my grow for a few days so I'm not sure if I'll be posting. I may have pictures sent and facetime. I can always check the cameras anyway. I sprayed BT last night just to be safe. That was unreal. I'm worried to leave my girls but I know it's just my anxiety disorder. When I get back I'm switching the mendo breath to flower nutes. Maybe slurricane too. What do you guys think? Hope you enjoy the video. I had much better internet connection. 7/14 I'm super lucky to have the family I do. They have taken pictures for me and facetimed my plants. I can monitor with my cameras but it's great to facetime and look really close.

My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

2/8 - 2/14: Still have the BJ's and GG's on plain water with Liquidsoil. I expect their last night alive will be next Friday.

Week 4 of flower started on 4/25. Did another moderate defoliation on the larger dark green fan leaves to open the canopy up for more light. Hoping to get bigger buds this go round.

More photos are coming... but for now, I'm super SUPER pleased with this grow! And I'm glad I only grew one plant in my 2x4 tent - she filled it up! Had I tried for 2 plants, I don't think the results would have been as stunning. From now on, growing in DWC and with the lights I have, I will limit the tent to one plant only... Next up in the tent will be an experiment... Going to be topping/cloning a Captain Future photoperiod and growing it in DWC while the "mother" and her sister go outside for the summer. I'm excited to see just how much I got from this grow... I don't weigh wet buds because it's stupid (imho) to weigh wet buds that are still attached to the stems and branches ... so check back in about a week for the dry weight...

8/8 Rained all night. Still raining today and the forecast says it will continue throughout the day until midnight. It's come down heavy at times but for the most part it's a rain that plants like. Defoliated a couple leaves but nothing really needed it. Without a trellis or my tarps up the grow bags seem to dry out incredibly fast so I need to watch that. It's also "toughened" up the plant wants. I've seen them blowing straight sideways and they were fine. I do need to find that four lined plant bug and spray BT after the rain. Plants lovedcthe nutes. I might feed a little later today or tomorrow. I've got a few things to do but I'll keep this updated. Went over and defoliated ANYTHING that needed it and combed through every plant during a pause in the storm. Then I shook them all off and did a video. This is by far the healthiest crop I've grown! I think they can handle more nutes too so I'm going to up it next feed. Still seeing stptadoc chunks missing and random pillar damage. BT will handle it. It's just so minor I'm not even sure if it should be addressed that way. I've had pretty good luck just looking for them and picking them off. 8/9 Cannabis can grow an inch or two in a day and it definitely has been! The rain has finally stopped. I went and shook all my plants off. I'm going to check and see the last time I fed and try to get a feeding schedule created that won't cause lockout. That's been a problem in the past. I've defoliated a lot of leaves lately but EVERYTHING is looking amazing. Extremely healthy. I DO need to spray BT for the pillars and I need to move that one plant back. I keep forgetting to grab the little wheels I need to make a platform. There are other ways I could do it I guess. I'll keep this updated. No damage from the storm and I went through and defoliated before and after. Forgot to upload shit and now I'm back home with this shitty internet connection. I'm trying to upload this video but we'll see. It's at like 32%. I did a full workout and came back to find this at 77% lol. I need to remember to upload things when I'm not in the middle of the woods. UPDATE: Checked on things and did a video. Need to feed, apply bt and secure individual branches before flowering increases 8/10 LOOKS to be a beautiful day. Growbags are heavy as hell and wet on the bottom. I ALMOST fed today and I still might. The pp in the 10 seems to have leeched a lot of nutes. That and a giant blueberry cheese are the only places I'm seeing a deficiency and I want to keep it simply. I also need to put a trellis up apply BT. also if I'm going to move things around I've got to do it before I put up flowering supports. It's harder to move stuff when it's wet. I'll keep this updated. The girls look fantastic. UPDATE: Went and trellised two of my plants. I was going to feed today but decided to wait until the next time I water. I'm only seeing deficiencies on the phrple punch in the ten and the GIANT blueberry cheese that I watered the most. Bags were heavy as hell this morning but I bet I'll need to water tomorrow. We'll see. Hahaha wow. I'm trying to upload a video but even my tough as fuck plants might have some difficulty in torrential rains like this. Wow. That's all I can say. I'll either go check and shake them off tonight or if it keeps it up I'll wait until morning I guess. What a shit show 8/11 WOW. That's probably the hardest I've ever seen it rain. Got to the grow this morning and found NO damage. It's super sunny amd windy so the bags will probably dry out. I think it's suppised to rain again Sunday. I definitely haven't had to water that's for sure. Nothing was even bent over this morning. The blue cheese I didn't fim or top (I wanted to see gow it grew naturally) pop ka was bent down a little bit but not much considering the pounding it got. You can see on the videos. Since bags were saturated I didn't need to water before I fed. I fed 1.25 pints to every plant. I gave the fifty 2.5 pints and the purple punch in the 10 got closer to a pint. I want to start out slow with nutes as I'm nor seeing many deficiencies. I may fuck around today and put some more trellises up seeing this wind bur when flower comes I can just put my tarp up. I'll update as I go. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER BECAUSE THE WIND WAS WHIPPING LIKE CRAZY AND TREES WERE DOWN. I SANITIZED ALL MY TRELLISING AND HORIZONTALLY TRELLISED TWO 10TH PLANETS IN FRONT AND VERYICAL TRELLISED THE THIRD. HORIZONTAL TRELLISED THE PURPL WE PUNCH IN THE 10 AND VERTICAL TRELLISED THE BLUE CHEESE IN THE 50 AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CAGE. GLAD I GOT THIS DONE. NOW I JUST NEED TO SPRAY BT AND I'LL FEEL CAUGHT UP. 8/12 Got my supports up and ready now I've just got to find the time to give the girls an application of BT. I've done a pretty good job with manual removal thus far. Bags are over watered. It's Rained so hard and so often that the bags have stayed drenched. Luckily this ridiculous wind has been drying my grow bags out relatively fast. I'm hoping that will be the case today. They're starting to dry out but it's supposed to rain tonight and I think tomorrow. Bright and sunny right now. These are some resilient plants. They seemed to like the liquid kool bloom. I noticed (barely noticeable but I was looking for it) a SLIGHT color change at the very TIPS of a few leaves on a plant but not enough to consider it burn. I will monitor but I think ive got a pretty good feeding regimen. I plan to use as little as I can get away with. I'll keep this updated. UPDATE: WENT TO CHECK ON PLANTS AS I GOT "THAT FEELING". EVERYTHING WAS LOOKING GREAT BUT THEN I WENT AND LIFTED MY DRY 22GALS OF SOIL AND COMPATED IT TO MY 20S AND LIKE I THOUGHT THE WIND HAD DRIED THEM OUT. I CANT BELIEVE HOW QUICK THEY DRY OUT. I GAVE EVERYTHING 1.5 GALLONS AT LEAST EXCEPT FOR THE 10 WHICH I GAVE A LITTLE LESS THAN A GALLON. I GAVE THE 50 A LITTLE OVER 2 GALLONS AND I DISNT NOTICE RUNOFF. I HAD MORE WATER MIXED UP IM THINKING I SHOULDVE GIVEN IT ANOTHER GALLON. OH WELL ITS SUPPISED TO RAIN A LITTLE TONIGHT AND THEN TOMORROW. I HAVEN'T WAYERED IN LIKE A WEEK SO I PROBABLY SHOULD'VE GIVEN THE WHOLE 2 GALLONS. THEY GOT DAMN CLOSE THOUGH. 8/13 Rained like hell last night. Oh course it did. Doesn't really matter though. I had to water. I thibk the last time "I" watered was lime a week ago. My bags were dry. Plants weren't drooping and they might've been ok but I've under-watered twice already to the point they drooped right over dead looking and I wasn't going to do that again. Plants seem to love the nutes I gave. Keeping the tarps off and allowing the wind through and having my bags on pallets has really saved me this year. Everyone else is bitching about the rain and lack of sun but things are going great for me knock on wood. I'm not 'in the ground' though so that probably has something to do with it. I just need to check my plants multiple times a day. These plants are getting massive. The cage is at least 8ft tall and the biggest one is about to the top now. Almost as wide too. 8/14 I forgot to write the entry but I uploaded some pics from this morning. They were wet from the storm but I went back over and took video that's like two and a half minutes plus I took some pictures. I pulled the cage out but I need to undue one of the lathes and pull it forward. I also need to apply BT. Plants seem to be aggressively flowering (some more than others) so it's a real exciting time. I went over this afternoon and everything looked fantastic. I'll try to upload a few pictures but the video will have to wait. Didn't rain today and my bags sry out quick so I'm sure they'll be fine even if it rains. I did notice that the two plants I watered most including the smallest container seem lighter in color. IT might hust be the transition to flower but u think I need to increase feed. On the 10th planet's they are green as can be and have that SLIGHT little almost unnoticeable part you really have to look for on the tips that means it's getting its nutes but it's not burnt. I believe I'm going to have to make feeding schedules for each strain

Day 22 of Flower! Did as much lollipopping as I can in a Days work.. will continue through the next 2 days to touch and clean up the bottom of the canopy. After that..no touching the plants..will let them slide through flowering with just feeds.

FBA2505 has had issues. I changed her to Athena nutrition about 4 days ago. I discovered root rot today. I removed some and rinsed the rest good. I then added about 3 ml of h2o2 to the solution to help kill off the bad bacteria. I will likely do a fresh solution change in a few days, and get some healthy cultures growing. I have had issues every time I use xpert nutrition. I can't seem to get a handle on it. Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Finally into 20 hrs on. The toxicity from the over watering of last week hopefully got fixed when I watered again for the first time in 5 days. I think the fresh batch of water might help her out. Just did straight water nothing else. Packing on weight tho... Oh ya. Starting to really smell like berries it's nice. The buds are developing that dark color too. IT WASN'T WATER TOXICITY. Just her going into late bloom. Final lst. She's going to stay there until end of flower.. I wish I did this earlier and the buds would've been much bigger. Better late than never
