This is the sister diary of the Runtz showdown, in which we pit two great performing strains created by two highly acclaimed and respected breeders, in a duel to the death. This diary features the RUNTZ XL AUTO strain by SweetSeeds. In the meantime, all seeds have germinated and seemed to have a level start. Also here we loaded the grow with our magical intentions as we sowed on Imbolc, the celebration day of the Goddess of spring: Bridget. We cant wait to see where this will lead us. Both strains will have the exact same conditions, lighting, care and nutrition. The Lights Also here we use our trusty Mars Hydro SP-3000, where we are trying to get over 600 grams (2x gram per watt) we succeeded almost on the previous grow, where we got to 1.5 grams per watt. We are starting in the regulars when these strains have only 4 to 5 weeks left to go, to double up on the 18hr light schedule. Program DSP2E, Temperature DST2E, Humidity DSH2E, as well as the AMP3 sensor with PH and EC probes, are all in place. After calibrating the probes, AMP3 module works perfectly! It has a quick response in measurements, is accurate, and I am very happy about the possibility of online monitoring of liquid values. After day off use i can tell that all readings are very consistent, compared with Milwaukee, totally without all over the place measurements. Perfectly steady and on spot receding! The Program device runs flawlessly all day, and I hope it has solved all the problems I had with DH48-S timers. The humidity control operates without errors throughout the day, and it’s nice to see in the app when the module is active. Raise light as much as i can..50-55cm from canopy. 4 for 4 seed to sprout. They were germinated in a starter mix of coco loco and extreme mykos WP and will be insta-transplanted here in the next couple days. Off to a great start! This cycle is a showdown of 3 different feed routines featuring some tasty genetics from my friends at Tastebudz Genetics and Super Natural Seeds UK. It’s a mixed cycle, 3 autoflowers and 1 photoperiod. Might train or I might let everything grow natural as I try to keep everything on track and recorded lol. Fingers crossed for another great run!

I was told to never judge a strain purely off it's THC percentage. To smell a plant, and what your nose picks out is generally the strain that will jive the best with the endocannabinoid system in your body. This strain exemplifies that. It's only around 17% but the high is amazing. An under-rated strain for sure. Very easy strain to grow. Although the same strain, one looked pretty different and was much frostier despite getting the exact same treatment from seed to chop.

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.

Things seem to be going well. Really good bud development for only the end of week one. Not much stretch happening.but that's a good thing because I'm basically out of floor space

Day 43: Watered at 6.5 today. Girls looking pretty good other than a small amount of clawing on some leaves. Thinking I have the fan blasted on them too much. Backed it off a touch and we shall see. Also, my rust spots are starting to come back barely and I think I may up the nutes next go as they are hungry. Stacking up nicely though. Day 44: Busy, no update. Day 45: Girls looking frosty! Think I may have screwed the pooch on one of the girls. Got a little rough picking up the pots and may have snapped a main cola. In the uploaded video notice where its zoomed. Praying! 🙏 Day 46: Letting the girls dry out today. Will give em a thorough watering tomorrow. Not able to upload pics/vids currently. Day 47: No new updates. Day 48: The girls look great! 💪 Gave them a cleanse and just fed with CalMag and Sensizym. Looks like they are finished with the stretch and starting to build mass. Hoping for at least a couple huge colas! Day 49: Looking good. No new updates. I have been keeping a very close eye on the runoff PPM's as I am starting to have some rusty splotches on the leaves again. I have upped the CalMag to see if this helps as that is what it is looking like.

Day 9. All is running very nice. Happy with light performace a lot. Girls missed wind a bit, but i cant make it faster, because of neighbours and sound, so i took humidity dome away. TSL2000 runs 40 cm away and on 40% output. Girls get daily shower , try to keep some wet cloth to maintain humidity. Happy Growing !!!

On the first day of week 4 I did FIM on the plant at 6 node. Up to this point the plant has been growing very strong and healthy almost as fast as Autos I have grow before. Day 22 the plant doesn't seem stressed out at all and in fact is pumping New Growth right away I thought it was going to be sad for a day or two but no way the genetics are very strong the plant is very vigorous . Day 24 I did some minor defoliation to allow the light to penetrate everywhere in the plant as well it looks like the fim work perfectly and it started to develop 4 new grow on top of the plant. This is for the RQS autumn cup. I also use SST’s: Corn and Lentils LABS ( lactic acid bacteria serum) Looks like I have 137 days to harvest these 4. So that means 2 full months of veg and 65 day of flower. Happy growing to everyone

Her flowering is continuing beautifully and she's smelling stronger every day it seems! I'm staying on top of tucking leaves blocking light and turning her pot daily as well. 9/19- Five weeks of flower on the books! We're almost halfway there now, she's stacking her flowers tightly going into Week Six and she's looking phenomenal! 🤩 When I watered her today I added 1 tbsp/g each of Kelp Extract and Fish Emulsion (both liquid) to the 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water she received, which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 74℉. ~Thanks for stopping in!
