Day 63 Flower (Day 105) I'm back! Iceland was breathtakingly beautiful as usual, and I even managed to see an active volcano. Amazing! I have good news and bad news regarding my girls. The good news is that they are both still alive and are overall looking pretty good. The bad news for the left girl is that the cheap irrigation system failed and only watered around 1 liter of water during the entire week. She was extremely thirsty, although still looking pretty good without any drooping. A couple of her leaves turned purple from the stress, though. I recorded a video just as I opened the tent for the first time after coming back a couple of hours ago. The news is worse for the right girl, though. The irrigation system worked flawlessly, so that wasn't the problem. Instead, I detected bud rot in three buds, and of course, it was in the three most significant colas. Fuuuuuuuu... I also shot a video as I opened the tent, and the affected buds are visible if you are paying attention. I have never had bud rot before, so I will need to do additional research on what to do next. I immediately cut off the affected buds and disposed of them outside. I hope I got all the affected areas, but I will inspect all the buds more closely tomorrow. Been traveling most of the day today and need some rest before scouting her buds. I looked at her trichomes quickly and still couldn't see much amber, but I will have a better look tomorrow. The worms have been busy while gone, though, and they were crawling all over when I lifted the old avocados. They aren't the only ones who have been busy as the fungus gnats are back, Sigh. Only a few so far, but yeah, another thing to sort out. The fun just never ends...

Looking For a Keeper cream of the crop seeds Purple paralysis 24th February 2021 5 weeks of flowering down and I've had a few dramas this week....... Firstly a thunderstorm ripped thru and snapped a few branches that I had to "mend" with some good old tape. I also needed to add ropes to help support the long branches. The second thing that is happening is a Catterpillar attack 😠 After the recent rains I have noticed hundreds of butterflies and Moths flying around my garden which in turn equals bloody little plant eating catterpillars. I have made up a strong mix of chilli and garlic that I intend to spray all over my garden asap. Other than those couple of issues the plants are still growing nicely and the buds are stacking up and developing lots of sticky resin glands. 👌 Cheers for stopping by 👍

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and this should be her final week, I’m just looking for a little bit more amber to show up in her. Hopefully as she dries out from her last watering, she’ll get to that 30-40%. Her buds are really chunking up and dense as hell too! Day 72 - And she’s done, she’s gonna get the axe after 48 hours or so of darkness. Haven’t really used the darkness before harvest method before but needed some room in the tent so gonna give it a go. She should be getting chopped on Thursday sometime.

The kids are alright. They stopped stretching and invest their strength in growing buds now. They smell all different and very good in their own way. Light intensity is set to 80 percent. Adlites still as last week. Skywalker and Slush Mint Cake have been top dressed with Herbi's Living Soil booster again. I really start to like this product more and more. Cheaper than Flo's or Chicken Sh*# and the results look promising so far. I will start defoiling the lower branches soon. No signs of hermanphrodites - I will keep my fingers crossed it stays that way.

Everything's going smoothly so far. Doing a defoliation tomorrow and getting rid of any lanky branches. This should be my best crop yet with photoperiods. It should be noted that there is a difference between defoliation and lollipopping. I didn't realize there was one until last month.

The plants are doing good but I noticed two days ago the ones in the cloth pots and old soil were nut burned. I mixed more dirt up with the Kellogg soil and repotted the four that are showing nut burn. I shook off most of the soil on the roots, too. The ones in the 5 gallon pots are doing fantastic! They are larger and have better leaves. I think I caught the issue with the other four in time, but we shall see. No other changes

The past 48 hours in the Coco medium seemed great for this Girl. She popped.

All plants are starting to flower and doing great. Starting bloom feed 20/12/20. I'll update 3 or 4 times this week.

Started today second week (20/05). Very pleased with how it grew the first week. The plant appears healthy despite the excessive lengthening that caused its release due to the too much weight of the leaves. Although it has a fan pointing at it, I still expect it to reinforce the stem to remove the support. Beautiful and strong! I've noticed only a small spot in a leaf, highlighted in the video; and a strange skin around the stem, highlighted in the other video.

Daily report: Day 1. Watering: NO Stats: Humidity: 70% Temp: 27.2 Notes: I want to see how often should I water Heracles. I fucked up with pH and maybe with watering frequency. I want to fix that. Also set the board to 100%. Day 2. Watering: NO Notes: Defoliation went a bit too aggressive, but it looks fine and I hope that it will help weaker stems to grow faster. I will let Heracles to heal tonight and feed her only tomorrow's morning. Day 3. Watering: 5.7 pH 1550 ppm (1.25 l + CalMag) && 5.8 pH 1320 ppm (2.3 l + CalMag) + 5.7 pH 1120 ppm (1.6 l + CalMag) Total 5.15 l => 5.9 pH 1720 ppm (1.25 l) Notes: This morning pot was completely lightweight and dry. Heracles looks amazing. Day 4. Watering: Night - 5.8 pH 1190 ppm 3.5 l (+CalMag) => 6.0 pH 1890 ppm 0.7 l Notes: New leaves still has yellow marks between veins. I don't know what should I do with that - neither MgSO4 foliar nor CalMag in the mixture helped. Currently 1.5 days is the comfy period for feeding schedule. Day 5. Watering: NO Notes: I found signs of overfeeding (and not only me found that), so next mixture will be less concentrated to let Heracles relax. Also, I bounded all tallest stems to the net to place all the grow spots at the same height. Day 6. Watering: Morning - 5.7 pH 761 ppm 4.5 l (0.75% of Base +CalMag + 1 l of plain water) => 6.1 pH 1750 ppm 1.1 l Notes: I am still trying to create a flat screen of greens. Start of week 4 for White Widow Defenetely has that indica ciompact structure! Gave her an extra 25g of Bio Grow + 25g of Bio Bloom, as shes such a big plant for this pot size already. Not doing anymore defoliation as recommended by the greenhouseseedco team👊
