The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. This strain is almost perfect, smell, look, resin production, bud structure, how little trouble she was in veg…etc…. even yielded really well for a smallish, bushy plant, the only thing letting it down was slightly lacking in flavour, flavour was nice don’t get it twisted but I had very high expectations because everything else was so good, and it fell short a little. I did cure some further for a few months and it was better. All in all I’d recommend this strain, another banger from Barney’s farm!

I’m a few days late with my entry because I was busy in the other tent finishing up with a project. The express is going along nicely. I duped the nutrients and ran a few days of florakleen to run a test and see if stripping the salts and removing the nutrient bond as advertised makes a difference. She has a big beautiful stall and all her branches are supported nicely.

Sunday 05-06-2022 Plants chugging along. Supplemented feed yesterday with Recharge. Trying powdered nutrients this week with a relatively high P fertiliser. Trichomes popping up on Plant #2. This grow is different from Test Grow #2, during early development of the grow there was substantial rainfall, the plants are significantly bigger and developing more slowly. Apart from the rain, I suspect that has to do with the fact my previous grow started and ended in short days (less than 12 hours light). This grow is experiencing increasing light, with daylight now 13+ hours.

And my army as arrived lol its IPM time with in this case is not preventive but its attacking a situation !!!! In my humble opinion wen growing in organics one fight life with more life and in this case i broth the big guns, i am talking about applying nematodes (steinernema faltiae) with you cant see at naked eye but will do they’re job on the soil and take on a microscopical way, i also am introducing some beneficial bugs to be more exact the stratiolaelaps scimitus they are machines killing trips, soil flies and a bunch of other plages we dont want around our girls and i also invited some Noseilus Californicus as a preventive for Any kind of non beneficial mites. With this i recipe i have faith my girl will be in control until the end of the run were i can clean it all up good !!! Appart from the bugs situation and that this girl is always starving dont ask me how but just in case i start adding NPK in liquid mineral way lol she is doing amazing to my eyes, i mean the bud formation its amazing , i can already see a canopy full of golf balls , she is not an easy one to grow but i believe she will compensate me with amazing fruits, lets see … <3 <3 <3 As always thank you all for stoping by, for checking my journey , for the love support and for it all, i am blessed and humble with you all. Twenty20 Ateam R&D Update! Wow this week went so great, Germination was 100%successful!! We went with the usual paper towel method an they all popped up in the soil on Saturday the 28th! Let’s grow lil babies let’s grow!!

Day 32 to 38 of flower Basically the girls are on autopilot, with the autopots and Gaia green there really isn't much to do, both methods are super user friendly and the basic needs that need to be meet are just ph water in the reservoir every couple days and then watch them stack buds on top of buds...Occasionally I move a branch over to another square in the net to make room but Basically after the last top feeding it's just watch and weight, pun intended....

Nice growth and bud developtment. Hps still doing its thing while im sitting back and relaxing. Got to keep an hawk eye on watering. I feed full strenght going over to full canna so they were transplanted into soil. Clones doing good but the Lemon skunk clone dont feel to good. Lets see what the week will bring.
