Well, I am not so afraid of heavy defoliation any more. 😁 I can already see the benefits. I do have to be careful when reaching in to apply bondage or make adjustments. I unfortunately lost some buds. This speaks to early training, and earlier pruning. I will plan to have better access to each branch. No mold, roots are happy. The smell in there is spicy floral and dank, almost rotten. My filter is old, and not suited for the high cfm needed to keep the heat down. My ONA bucket is also a bit old. I will have to give that room a periodic ozone blast.

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "Grandaddy Purple" from Blimburn Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. She is really starting to do some stretching and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She has a few leaves that look textured or "crinkled". I tried doing some searches and not sure if this is due to a virus or some other factor. She is center in the tent and the only plant being grown in a fabric pot. She has also been vegging longer than any of the other plants in the garden. She was a survivor from previous run when I almost killed all my plants (did kill one) trying to kill so spider mites. This is the only plant presenting these abnormalities. I gave a lot of detail about the abnormal leaves because I am hoping someone may be able to help me troubleshoot. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. It's been a while, I know, but been too busy during this festives to keep the diary up... Damn spidermites! I've try to control them every day but it was too long in bloom to do something for this little creepers! I've decided to cut them and wash the buds as in a video made by Mr.Cervantes seen on youtube. I've mix 120ml of H2O2 in 10Lts of water, washed the buds for a couple of minute, rinse'em and then hanging for a couple of hours with a fan that gently blowin on them. So, mates, this journey has ended, I've learned a lot of things during this real first indoor grow, and this also thanks to you and your hint. At 27 days old blue dream #2 showed sex. Es ist das erste Mal, das ich Töpfe für den Outdoor grow verwende, bisher waren alle Gorilla grows und direkt in die Erde gepflanzt. Tag 133: Die Power Flower fem. ist jetzt 170 cm, die Special Kush #1 fem. 170 cm und die Royal Medic fem. 145 cm hoch. Gestern haben die drei einen kurzen Regenguss abbekommen, war nicht schnell genug draussen. Heute ist das Wetter ideal, leicht bewölkt, 27°C und 45% Luftfeuchtigkeit. Es wird weiter 2x am Tag jeweils 1,5 Liter gegossen, den Schachtelhalmextrakt gibt's nur 1x alle 14 Tage. ☘️El 21/04 puse a hidratar la semilla por 24hs y luego la coloqué en papel con un poco de agua para empezar con su germinacion. ☘️22/04 - 24hs después germino y midió 1cm. ☘️Coloque la semilla germinada en una maceta que abarca 3L (la marca que utilizo en macetas es "Roots House"), es momentaño ese tamaño ya que me quede sin tierra suficiente para llenar una maceta de 10L como de costumbre. ☘️Le agregue AEGIS que es un producto natural compuesto por propagulos de hongos formadores de micorrizas. Estos se presentan como raicillas colonizadas del hongo y esporas. ☘️El sustrato que utilizó se llama "Nube Verde", su composición es de turba de categoría, perlita, humus, compost, tierra, dolomita y verticalidad. ☘️Voy a dejarla dos semanas en etapa de enraizamiento para que se pueda desarrollar de la forma correcta así la puedo pasar a crecimiento. ☘️25/04 - Cumple cuatro días de vida en total, ya mide 2,5cm de alto. ☘️En estos dias la estaré trasplantado en una maceta de 10L ya que ahora se encuentra en una de 3L. ☘️Salió muy rápido, por el momento viene de manera correcta. ☘️En estos dias estaré subiendo más imágenes! No clear signs of flowering yet, except for a slight preflower showing on the Seriotica. However, the stretch has definitely kicked in: 📏 Current height: • Seriotica: 42 cm • Cherry MAC: 46 cm • MAC n Cheese: 50 cm MAC n Cheese is stretching nicely and looks strong – just like the rest of the tent. 💧 Watering & Feeding • 6 L per plant every 3 days • Feeding at ~50 % of the Advanced Nutrients schedule • Input EC: ~1.3 🔍 Drain EC readings: • Seriotica: 1.1 • Cherry MAC: 1.0 • MAC n Cheese: 0.92 Still very happy with the medium mix (Plagron Lightmix + Coco) – especially because the runoff EC is consistently measurable and reliable. Looking back, I probably could’ve flipped to flower a week earlier – the tent is really filling up now! 😄

Day 93 got the tent open to try keep the humidity down

first pic was april 25 second the 26 and about two day in between or so on the others up until today the may the 3rd last day of week 7 now i can say things are starting to look good 😌 thru picture of what it looks like under the bed in case anyone was curious.. one has slight light burn finally got passed me and didn’t give in aha till today aha (edit ) i forgot to mention pots are about 15 in and yea i measured from the floor every time old habits aha

Had a couple of the stems which were almost drooping on the ground due to the weight of the buds, so decided to harvest those two branches today. Also, this week I did a bit more research on when to harvest. I had been waiting for the trichomes to begin to turn amber, but after reading this article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest, I decided to harvest when the trichomes were cloudy. Experts say that the amber trichomes give a more relaxing effect, but I was growing this plant for daytime use. Looked at it under my digital microscope and decided to pull the trigger on the whole plant. Plus, the neighbors were starting to notice the smell. Final height - 104" - 8 1/2 feet - 2.64 meters. Not good. Was concerned that someone would hop the fence and pilfer my plant. Harvested her at 35 weeks - 281 days. Grow diaries really needs to expand the weeks available for us outdoor growers. Started her indoors in Feb. Transplanted outside on April 7th.
