1/17 - Day 62 / Day 35 Flower Pots felt dry so decided to give them about a half gallon of spring water each. This wasn't enough to induce runoff. Will save that for a bigger watering later this week. Nutrient issues continue to persist. **************************************************** 1/19 - Day 64/ Day 37 Flower - Feeding day Pots were feeling dry again. After about a week of laying off the nutrients following the flush, I gave them a feeding today with their watering. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have waited this long to re-introduce nutrients as some of the lag in recovery is probably due to the fact that I flushed all of the food. The feeding solution consisted of the following: - 1 gallon distilled water - 5ml of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - 10ml of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) Adjusted the solution to the following conditions before feeding: - pH: 6.5 - TDS: 303ppm - EC: .6 I gave each of the 5 gallon pots about a half gallon each of the solution, followed by enough spring water to induce runoff (approximately another half gallon). I tested the runoff for both of my 5 gallons and returned the following readings; Z51: - pH: 6.4 - TDS: 649ppm - EC: 1.3 Z52: - pH: 6.2 - TDS: 669ppm - EC: 1.3 I was encouraged that both plants are close to being within my ideal range and hopefully this means that they will start to show signs of recovery in the next week. **************************************************** 1/21 - Day 66 / Day 39 Flower I'm growing in an attic space and we've had a drop in temperature over the last couple days, my heating system was working overtime and more heat was rising into the space. I woke up today and the temp in my grow tent was registering in at 87F. I decided to play around with my temperature threshold on my fan controller, reducing the max heat threshold to 80 from 85. What I didn't account for was that I had a low humidity threshold of 30% (which I assumed meant that that fan would stop running if it hit this point). It turns out that my fan actually kicks ON when it hits that threshold... As a result. my fan was short cycling through the night where it would turn on when the heat exceeded 80 (causing humidity to decrease) then turn on again when it hit my low humidity threshold - creating wide swings in my temp and humidity. I'll tell you what, if I don't produce any viable bud this grow, I can honestly say I made up for the loss based on the education I've received. The nutrient deficiency issues are still present but don't appear to be getting worse. The leaves on my Z51 are pretty pale, it's clear they are starving for nitrogen but I am reluctant to try and address issue at this point. I'm planning 2 more light feedings over the next two weeks so hopefully this will be enough to get them to harvest. **************************************************** Day 1/22 - Day 67/Day 40 Flower My girls are really starting to frost up and the colas feel noticeable more dense by the day. I would have thought that the smell would have been stronger by now. Not sure if this is a consequence of my carbon filter doing such a good job or whether the buds are having developmental issues. When I get up close and smell the buds, I get a faint aroma but not the strong sweet and gassy smells that I've read about on other journals. I watered the 5 gallons today with a gallon of spring water each. My soil is not as airy as it once was and has started to cake up around the roots. I do my best to try and loosen up the dirt, usually to no avail. I was short for time so I didn't have a chance to test the runoff.

I love it when the buds are so fat thick and heavy in weight that they bend the branches, All plants being flushed for the next 2 or 3 weeks to get that ripe sweet taste ALL MOST THERE ! ( patience patience) LOL.

They’re getting close! I could probably chop the GSC and GC but the Gelato has at least 2 weeks to go. I was hoping to bring them all down at once and dry in the tent but I may have to figure something else out. I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing garden ive grown so far. I enjoy all manner of plants and in general the GC is the nicest looking mj plant I’ve ever produced. I’d love a porch full just for the look! Anyways, all these girls are a little stunted from all the cold nights. Dark temps under 60, a lot under 50-55 for most of their lives but they look good, and still very frosty. Never had gelato or GC before so im excited to try them out, thanks for dropping by!

So I harvested on day 70, Pretty excited, I started with 12 seeds, 1 never popped, 2 got messed up in shell, but I hoped they would make it, they did, but they are embarrassing, I one the root system barley existed the other got so bushy and I didn't stay on top of it so it was all frost, no actual buds, pfff. THE OTHER GIRLS more than made up for it, I changed the light cycle to 10 on, 14 off for the last 4 days of light, and then the last 2 days no lights at all. Super happy so far, oh, I did not water at all the last 4 days, I thought that may help my rh during the dry, starting the dry a little on the plant, nope, my rh is high. still happy

F week 5. Leaves got brown spots and are dry. I think my light was too close and maybe some cal-mag issue too. I lifted light higher and changed the nutes in the reservoir. Let's see if that helps.

Roots looking good, plant looking good but look close and you can see a nute deficiency coming. most likely because my lazy ass did not change the water yet so i got some pH problems. but i wasn't paying attention to this yet haha

Day 13 of flower. Everyone is fully flipped and all ladies! The smell has already started ....I suspect it's the black patronus as it's very gassy sherbsy...I can already see a couple favs. Can't wait to defol as it's getting out of hand! I defoliated most of the purple stemmed fan leaves on day 19 of flower. They are already filling in after just a few days. I'm still feeding at 1000ppm with 20% run off.

FastBuds White Widow!! One of my first ever grows was a White Widow from another breeder. She was a lovely plant. Lets see what the FastBuds version is like 😎 Planted in her forever home 20L airpot.

Blüte hat begonnen: Edit:11.05 Die Pflanzen sind innerhalb von 2 Tagen explodiert. Ich habe das Licht nun auf 75 Prozent gestellt und noch einmal Cal-Mag nachgegeben, da die letzte Gabe nur eine halbe war. Die beiden Titan sehen fast identisch aus. Die beiden Epsilon sind circa 3 Tage unterschiedlich, eine ist etwa 5 cm kleiner als die andere und hat noch kaum Blüten. Ich denke, in 3 Tagen wird das der Fall sein. Die Cosmos F1 ist im Umfang circa 50-50 cm, kaum Blüten bisher. Ich hoffe, sie wird nicht noch viel größer, da der Platz langsam eng wird. Ich bin von dem Wachstum dieser Pflanze absolut begeistert. Mal gucken, was die Blüte bringt. Edit ende Ich habe alle Blüten entfernt, die nicht im direkten Licht sind, und alle Blätter, die die Blüten bedecken. Die Pflanzen weisen einen Cal-Mag-Mangel auf, was bei der Blüte normal ist, gerade bei diesem Licht. Ich habe dem Gießwasser etwas Cal-Mag hinzugefügt. Die Pflanzen sind drei Tage älter als im letzten Report. letzte Woche : Die Pflanzen sind seit der Keimung auf diesen Fotos genau 30 Tage alt. Ich habe eine Pflanze ausgetauscht, da es sich um eine Epsilon F1 handelte, die vermutlich Mutationen aufwies. Sie hatte verkümmerte Blätter, die nicht wie die ihrer Artgenossen aussahen, und wuchs deutlich langsamer. Daher habe ich sie nach 2,5 Wochen ausgetauscht. Der kleine Mann(die ausgetauschte Pflanze) leidet natürlich jetzt ein bisschen unter Lichtstress, deswegen werde ich wohl nur eine sehr gestauchte Pflanze erhalten. Aber besser, als die Fläche leer zu lassen. So viel zu dem, was nicht funktioniert hat: Die Sanlight stand die ersten 2 Wochen auf 20 Prozent. Dann habe ich sie teilweise mit dem Dimmer höher gestellt: 2 Stunden auf 25 Prozent. Eine Woche später bin ich auf 30 Prozent und 2 Stunden mit 35 Prozent gegangen. Für Woche 4 habe ich 40 Prozent und 2 Stunden auf 45 Prozent gewählt. Ich erhoffe mir, die Pflanzen so schneller an die starken Lampen zu gewöhnen. Im Nächsten grow soll bei jeder Pflanze die TDS per Infrarot gemessen werden. Da werde ich dann ein Experiment zu machen, wie die Lichtsteigerung am besten umzusetzen ist. Zu den Lampen kann ich bis jetzt nur Positives sagen. Im Gegensatz zur dazugehörigen App, diese ist wirklich nicht sehr gut umgesetzt. Das Menü und die Einstellungen sind teilweise irreführend und nicht sehr durchdacht. Ich muss mir immer wieder die Tutorials in der App ansehen, da diese immer wieder angezeigt werden. Noch dazu hätte ich gerne die Möglichkeit, mehr Einstellungen treffen zu können. Das ist aber Meckern auf hohem Niveau, weil auch die App das macht, was sie soll, nur eben meiner Meinung nach nicht sehr gut umgesetzt. Die Pflanzen wurden von mir mit Klipsen aus dem 3D-Drucker gestützt. Diese Klips kann man Stück für Stück im Winkel verstellen, so dass man die Triebe damit neigen kann. Das habe ich von Tag zu Tag im Winkel verstellt, so dass ich am Ende einen 45-Grad-Winkel habe. Das habe ich insgesamt über 6 Tage gemacht. Die Pflanzen haben an sich ein sehr gleichmäßiges Wachstum. Die Cosmos F1 wächst so optimal, dass kein LST mit den Klipsen nötig ist. Ich habe an den Pflanzen keine Mängel entdecken können und auch keine Anzeichen von Mutationen. Die Pflanzen haben im Durchschnitt eine Höhe von 35 cm, wobei eine etwas stärker abweicht mit 22 cm (wieder eine Epsilon F1). Der Umfang mit LST bei der Cosmos F1 liegt ohne LST bei 20 cm im Durchschnitt, wo wir wieder die Epsilon im Negativen haben mit 14 cm. Die Pflanzen wurden alle entlaubt, das eine Woche vor der Blüte. Morgen werden die Pflanzen erneut entlaubt und ge-lollipoppt. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!zusätliche infos werden morgen ergänzt + Fotos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *1. I'm excited for this one, really skunky smell and lovely buds. Hey growth was right on point with a auto and having her under 24 hours if light a day really fattened up her flowers. She grew with zero stretch between nodes and stacked nothing but nice colas. I would definitely recommend this strain for anyone looking for a fast turnaround of fat resinous buds. Cheers.
