Plants are very healthy, nice deep and dark green and good growth. Did some defoliation and Will turn the clock to 12 hours light and increase the lights to 70% 622 ppfd for the first 2 weeks of flowering.

During the second week of the flowering stage in marijuana plants, significant developmental changes occur. This phase marks the transition from vegetative growth to the flowering stage, where the main focus of the plant shifts towards reproduction. The plant begins to form buds, which are the reproductive organs. These buds will eventually develop into the flowers that contain the cannabinoids such as THC and CBD, for which the plant is cultivated. The plant's energy is now primarily directed towards bud formation, with a decrease in the growth of new leaves or height. The plant also undergoes hormonal changes during this week. There's an increase in the production of ethylene, a hormone that promotes flowering. Photoperiod-sensitive strains respond to the reduced daylight hours (or artificial light hours in indoor growing), which triggers the flowering process. Additionally, the plant's nutrient requirements change; it requires more phosphorus and potassium to support bud development, and less nitrogen than in the vegetative stage. The plant's overall metabolism increases to support these developmental changes, necessitating careful attention to watering and feeding schedules by the grower.

the biggest plant on the right is booming, the one in the middle as well and fingers crossed for that one on the left not to die 😃 ––––– for some reason the one on the left does not want to start maturing, maybe stressed her way too much 😞 ––––– today i checked trichomes for the first time and vast majority is still clear eventhough pistils are turning orange 😊

After a slow start, she grew relatively hassle free throughout the vegetation period. There were some fungus gnats during flowering but they seemed to avoid the ELB for the most part, so high marks for that. She responded well to topping and LST and didn't mind the various environmental fluctuations. There were a few bananas beginning to appear a few days before I chopped her but I would attribute that to leaving her a bit longer than I should've. They were absolutely ready for harvest at 56 days and I let her go 63. I hang dried the whole plant for 14 days at 60-65F and 58-65% humidity before trimming. Very few fan leaves on the calyx and bract heavy buds made trimming so easy. The trimmed flower was put into 1/4 lb Grove bags for a week before sampling. All wet weighs are guesses, I don't bother.

Here we are. At the end of week 7. This cultivar is scheduled for 45 days but at day 49 I can confidently say she is not ready yet. Thinking another week and she should be ready. All is looking good and these girls buds are super fat! Especially for Humboldt. The smell isn't as intense as I'd like but still there. A sweet smell. Still defoliating as I can and as needed. Getting watered daily or every other day. Here's to the home stretch! 🍻 Lights at 100% power. Here are the lights details: Medic Grow Mini Sun-2 150W LED Model: MN150-022 Spectrum mode: V1 Efficacy: 2.8 umol/J Thanks for stopping by! You can find the light on Grow Diaries: https://growdiaries.com/grow-lights/medic-grow/mini-sun-2-150-watts You can find the light on Medic Grow's website: https://medicgrow.com/

You can see that everything has grown very well, I kept the lamps at 60cm, now at 40 and at 80 percent light output. Fertilization won't start until a few days later, so the soil is still strong enough. Looking forward to the flowering and the genetics😎👌😘😁
