Fruity Pebbles in the Athena is going well. She is in heavy bulking and has a nice frost on her. She is very hungry and looking good for the most part. Shes definetly beginning to pre flower. I quickly got some LST in so at least the lower branches will get more light. I hope it continues to stretch and fill in. I'm sure that she still has a lot of stretching to do. Check back next week to see just how fast she buds & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!

These girls are throwing some gigantic buds already! I'm very excited for this run of strawberry banana. There is already some trichomes building up as well. I had to use a little neem oil to control mildew on mostly the right plant as the left one had hardly any. I'm very pleased with the size shape & overall vigor with these ladies. Ne Obliviscaris. Humidity Day 40-45%, Night 60-65% Internodes are very close together. was hitting 450umol at seedling level making it absorb more than it can use, reduced to 280-300umol @18 hours as expected vertical growth increased. During the 18 hours of daylight the first 9 is highly saturated in blue, 5000 kelvin, the 9 hours thereafter are closer to 3000 kelvin. Last 9 hours dosed 280nm. Height is too far to cause damage. UVB light is not detected by plants in the same way other wavelength/colours are. UV cannot be measured using umol as it doesn't drive photosynthesis. The plant has tiny little sensors that get set off to even little amounts, dimer salt bridges, the UV decays these salt bridges, which initiate response. You don't need large/long exposure doses for the plant to recognize UV is present. What's an enzyme? Think of it like a multiplier, you can add an enzyme to any particular biological process to vastly increase its proficiency at a particular process. Cannabis plants take blue/violet light and use it to create an enzyme called "photolayse". This allows the plant to repair UV damage done to the plant using a process called excision repair, this repairs the damage at a much much faster rate than it could by itself. Repairing 100% damage. The key is the plant needs time to build a reserve of the repair enzymes before using it. This is replicated in nature as, by midday UV levels peak, the generally cooler mornings allow lifetime to build up. The problem I encountered was dosing with 280nm lights on or 1 hour after the lights were on. Photomorphogenesis, the plant plans for the future of its growth, if the wavelength is not present during growth then how can it plan accordingly? The very presence of UV changes parameters with which the plant will grow, light itself dictates the growth pattern of the plant. Not only that it can dramatically alter the regular terpene profile of a strain in unexpected ways. Gran daddy purple grown using 280nm can triple already high terpene linalool. Linalool is terpene best known for lavender, largely responsible for its beautiful smell. Trouble sleeping you say? Having tried Durban poison from a dispensary and reading about its levels of tetrahydrocannabivarin. I've always wanted to taste the difference UV would make to such an already stand-out strain such as Durban.

Les he echado uns buena dosis de potasio y las que están más afectadas les he echado sgua limpia y un poco de potasio. -una de las GG le falta poco para cortar. El resto les quedará poco menos de un mes

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

These girls are in full flower in week 5. They stayed the typical size of an auto. The two were seperated in anticipation but clearly it may have been unnecessary

very strong resin production, a heavy hitter, nighttime stuff! a real great strain, highly recommended! you can certainly smell the grape with a creamy touch! ps. one of the plants was a mutant, it was very weak, had almost no resin on it and absolutely no scent at all....but it had alot of potency and a awesome yield!

Day 53 and they are putting some grams on them fruits, they are growing and growing amazing and full of trichomes, the bag appeal on this phenotype is something out of this world, she is by far my most favorite one at the moment, a delight to grow and amazing , i mean amazing medicine to smoke . Decided to grab some lady bugs from my garden and introduce them to my girls lol one of the advantages of growing fully organics and minerals is that one can do this things knowing they will b ok. Cut all the feedings, not flushing, i dont flush since im in organics, the plants will decide wen is time to the end of the season, and since i use all in one pellets on my soil, there still NPK left in there and they can grab what still needed from there during the next couple of weeks or so. I think I got a little light burn but I got a lux meter and adjusted the light. She looks happier now. Upping to veg state dosage of nutes next week. Topped last week and started some LST yesterday. FAT stalk.. guessing that the “tree trunk” additive. Happiness. Kombucha cream!
