hello growmies! day 51 finally the pre-flowers begin to appear. Week nine of veg and the girls are stretching… all except the Purple Punch on the far left. She decided to go into flower last Thursday! She too is healthy and displaying some purple. Thanks for looking in at my second grow.

For now, everything is going okay. Some nutrients shortage, but they are fixed.

102.5g dry, top nug 13.3gs dry. Absolute beast of a plant especially as a freebie, had a good bit of fun with this one and it’s nice seeing improvement through each plant.

Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

So figured out the seedling were getting to much light at the beginning stages which has stunted growth. Switch a few thing up for next round. But as of now all these girls are doing well except size wise. They are frosting up nicely and although I'm saddened by the mistake made looks like the yield will be somewhat decent.

So I switched to Athena nutrition 48 hours ago. As you can see the plant was not liking the Xpert Nutrients solution mix. I honestly don't think the mixture was strong enough. Regardless I had to switch to save the plants. I will try the Xpert Nutrients again on another grow. She did start showing more life since the switch. Hopefully she bounces back fast. Another successful week with her stretching and making new leaves. This may be her last week in veg and then I move her to direct soil outdoors.

Soo week 2 girls seem to be doing good ! Been faffing around with temps and humidity as struggling to get a stable reading for both especially with the weather getting more hot! But will keep trying to get this spot on l. Will be re potting The zkittles this week I reckon ! Update : With the addition of the RAM 5L humidifier the plants are loving it and the temperature + humidity is very stable and normally reads between 50 and 60 during the day and 40-50 when lights are off following this with the the temperature during day between 27 and 29 when lights are off stays between 20 and 23 I made some adjustments such as going down to 400 watt on my ballast and it works well when it’s like an oven outside so quite happy with these readings as before my temp was over 30 and humidity would not get past 35! Week 3 slowly commences where the nutes will be introduced I have opted for plant magic ! Price was reasonable and after reading reviews it does bring results , I didn’t fancy spending too much on nutes as I’ve spent a load on everything else haha but hey we shall see how it goes Happy growing 😜🤩

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Estas 6 plantas sobraron de 15 esquejes que hice para regalar (mis primeros esquejes) . Quizá mis amigos no las escogieron porque eran las más débiles y feas, pero en vista que nadie se las llevó, vamos a sacar algunos gramos. Ellas viven con 12 horas indoor y 6 horas de mal sol interrumpido, quizá por esa razón se han espigado tanto esta semana.
