Finally it's harvest time! I really can't wait for this strain to finish drying...it smells so delicious... Gave them only water with some clean fruits which is basicly humic acid for 10 days not because of some 'washing' just because i want to reuse some of the earth to keep some of the established beneficial bacteria and want it drained of most fertilizer Actually i don't believe in 'washing' ...i don't wash my garden tomatoes too...neither did i with my outdoor cannabis plants that grew in the ground and i found no evidence of any difference in harshness or taste Next week some update with final weight and of course a smoke report

Going into flowering is always a special moment and we prepare to do it at our best to make the plant understand that it is time to become a woman and speed up the start of the formation of buds. We start with 24 hours of darkness this to give a strong break and sign of change to the plant that understands the change of time and prepares to go into flowering. Our Black Runtz was worked with a topping x16 buds but unfortunately I got stupid one day and after having vaporized something strong while doing a defoliation, I also cut a branch, our x16 buds became like this x14, story of a bullshit done. I hate doing bullshit and I expose them to public shame to remind myself not to do it again any normal human being would have hidden the fact. But we are not here to comb the dolls so we always tell the truth. It happens and the plant will be super beautiful anyway. Another thing that gives the plant the signal to start flowering are flowering stimulators, we friends at Plagron use Power Buds. The start of the flowering program includes the same additives as the vegetative phase Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is Alga Bloom specific for flowering. Green Sensation will arrive as the hero of the end of flowering and at the same time it will be time to remove Power Roots and a week later the Pure Zym enzymes. It is recommended from the 4th week, if the plants flower quickly I start at the 3rd, it depends on the size of the bud. ---- Decide on the right soil and calculate your fertilizer card based on the soil on the official website. -- www.plagron.com Try a seed of this strain that drives us crazy.. -------- https://www.zamnesia.io/en/11159-zamnesia-seeds-black-runtz.html Zamnesia Description // Black Runtz comes from a truly legendary gene pool. Our breeders used three modern classics from the US to create this strain: Zkittlez, Gelato, and Runtz. With 20% THC and flavors of grapes and berries, Zkittlez brought her delicious flavors and relaxing effects. Gelato contributed to Black Runtz's immense flavor profile by bringing high concentrations of the terpenes limonene and humulene. Finally, Black Runtz inherited the high potency of the original Runtz, a strain with a respectable 21% THC. The end result of this 3-way cross is a strain with 55% indica genetics and 45% sativa. Black Runtz boasts fast flowering times, high potency, and contrasting yet balanced terpenes that support her delicious flavor profile. Animal Mints — Week 11 (Week 6 Flower) “Legends of the Frozen North” 12/12 from seed — no traditional veg phase. A direct transition from seedling into flowering rhythm. This run was never about controlling the plant. It was about creating the conditions… and letting the plant decide the rest. ⸻ 🌱 How did we get here — 12/12 from seed From day one, these plants were placed under a 12/12 cycle. No extended vegetative phase, no shaping beforehand. What you see now is the result of: * Early root establishment * Immediate flowering signal * Structural decisions made by the plant itself This creates a different type of growth: Less stretch chaos, more compact intention. Not bigger plants — but often denser, faster-finishing expressions. ⸻ 🌿 The Room — Controlled, but not forced At first glance, some parameters might look “unusual” for this stage. But everything is dialed based on leaf feedback (EPD) — not charts, not assumptions. * Temps: 26°C day / 18°C night * RH: ~60% * Solution & substrate: ~21°C * PPFD: plant-grown into the light (~600–700 range) We don’t chase numbers. We read the plant — and adjust only when she asks. ⸻ ❄️ Trichomes — The “Frozen North” is real This is where she speaks loudest. Trichome production is not just present — it’s accelerating daily. * Sugar leaves fully coated * Bud surfaces stacking resin layer by layer * That early frost has turned into visible density This isn’t just aesthetics. This is the plant investing heavily in protection and reproduction. And she’s not done yet. ⸻ 🌸 Pistils & Flower Development White hairs still active, still pushing. That tells us one thing clearly: ➡️ She’s still building, not finishing Calyx swelling is underway, but not peaked. Structure is set — now it’s about mass + resin + final expression. ⸻ ⚖️ Weight, Structure & “The Lean” Branches are starting to give in to gravity. Not collapse — commitment. This is the moment where: * Density becomes visible * Structure gets tested * Support decisions begin No stress signals — just natural load from proper development. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition — Simple, consistent, intentional Current feeding: * Terra Bloom * Pure Zym * Sugar Royal * Power Buds * Green Sensation * CalMag Pro pH ~6.5 | EC ~2.0 Nothing excessive, nothing reactive. The idea is simple: ➡️ Feed enough to sustain expression, not to force it. Stable input = stable output. ⸻ 💡 Under Canopy Lighting — Why it matters This is where things get interesting. Under-canopy lighting is helping: * Lower bud sites stay active * Improved light penetration in dense zones * More uniform development across the plant Instead of larf, we’re seeing usable structure deeper into the canopy. It’s not about pushing more — it’s about unlocking what’s already there. ⸻ 🧠 Observations This phenotype… has personality. * Slightly dramatic structure * Heavy resin production * Compact but expressive Not the tallest. Not the loudest in height. But easily one of the most present plants in the room. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect next week * Continued trichome stacking * Calyx swelling becoming more pronounced * First signs of pistil transition (some darkening) * Increased weight → more need for support We’re entering that phase where daily changes become visible. ⸻ 🙏 Final Words To everyone following this journey: * The OGs who’ve been here from the start * The new eyes discovering the process * The skeptics, the questioners — always welcome * The silent supporters * The platform for hosting this space * The sponsors and partners * The genetics behind this expression And of course… the plants themselves. This room is alive. And we’re just here to witness it. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Second time i grew these lady's. First was on 50 procent coco 50 procent claypebbles on biotabs and had a yield of 220 gram beautifull dry flower in 2 35 L pots, this run i did plagron lightmix soil and used canna bio line in 1 25 l pot. This one had much more trichome production but flowers are i litle bit smaller. Overal im verry happy with this and its drying now as we speak

Hello fellow growers. Croptober is here. Still displaying flowering on the week because I only harvested 2 of 5 plants. I checked the trichromes and they were T-d off and all milky white. I will wait a few more weeks for the remaining plants. The goal is to have a couple plants at the beginning of the harvest window and harvest the rest when they are more mature and ripe. The 2 plants I harvested were the bigger ones and each yielded about a pound each. One was the tall purple nug plant and the other was the bushy one. The shorter one smelled like gas once you got all the flowers bundled together, definitely can smell the sour diesel in the genetics. The tall purple one also smelled gassy, but also fruity. I would describe it as a mango/orange smoothie kind of fruity aroma. I didn't get a lot of popcorn and even the smallest nugs looked at least like a grams worth. The bud was sticky and gave a lot of finger hash. The leaves also looked packed with trichromes so I will save them for making medicine. The plants didn't grow as tall as I expected. I've honestly had indicas grow bigger, but the quality of the herb is there. Next time I will start these seeds earlier in the year to get bigger plants. I started them in May, but usually start my seeds in late March to get the roots to develop earlier. Usually they get stunted in height when you start them early, but the roots are developing. Once they take off, they tend to grow bigger because they already have an established root system. IMO BTW. The DRY. I placed the nugs in one of those multi-level mesh containers for drying. I used the top three levels. They started off displaying around 85% humidity on the first day and on the third day are now down to 68% humidity at 76°F. They are not moldy. I handle them once daily so they don't flatten out too much on one side. This is the down side of using this type of drying technique. By the fourth or fifth day, they should be ready to start jarring. I've left them longer in the past, but they start getting really dry if you leave them in the mesh too long. Smells like it's going to be at least a two to three month cure to get that smell out, but the one I already had curing from 2 weeks ago is already smokeable. We will see how good it gets by the end of the year. I can't wait to see how the remaining plants turn out. I will let them go as far as I can to see how the smoke differs from the early and the late harvest. Sativa dominant genetics should go at least another month, but I will start with the let's check in 2 weeks rule. Thanks to everyone following. This has been a great year for growing.

Both plants are currently being flushed, B2 will be ready for harvest the next few days and B1 will still flush for another week. The fade in B2 is incredible, truly my best plant I've grown so far.. best structure, best density, best everything. Looking forward to this harvest for sure. Probably will not post another update until my harvest results in a couple of weeks.

This week I was trying to find a good balance at feeding. I found out, that none of my nutrients had Zn and i started to see deficit of it, so i needed[ to but it. Choose between Advanced Nutrients Revive and General Hydro Micro. Obviously the second one, it has much more other useful elements. Also i bought another CalMag, since i noticed that it might be lack of Mg also. FloraGro also helps with Mg. FloraBloom just cause I already have two base nutrients from them and I'll be needed more bloom later. By the end of the week the feeding was: 1 time pH Perfect Micro, Grow, Bloom in double amounts, B52, CalMags, Sensizym and bacterias. 2 time FloraMicro, Grow, Bloom, BigBud in double amounts, B52, CalMags, Sensizym and bacterias. I think because I changed her diet and now it has much higher ppm, she started to drink less. Kind of more nutrients she can take from the same amount of water, so she doesn't need that much. I think. Also it was quiet hard to change solution alone my myself, when the plant is that big. (Day 3) She always wanted to fall down during it 😁 I changed light schedule to 18/6 as it's more common for me, she will definitely have enough time to sleep. And so I couldn't blame light timing for delaying flowering. Finally she begins to proper flowering, now I'm wondering how many time she'll be needing to finish, I guess 6 more weeks. By the way, she is growing almost in a perfect cube, her width is about 60cm, while the height is around 67cm Still defoliating, but every 2nd day now. That means she stopping producing leaves and starts focusing on buds, which is great. Covering the ground actually helped me, now i almost don't see Sciaras anymore

Week 2 plans are to water when dry between 6.2-6.6 PH, as nutrients are organic slow release. Plan is to also keep light height around 36" to allow some plant stretching. Environment 50-55 RH, temps around 23C. Making sure to water bottom of fabric pots to encourage lower soil to be moist for root development. Update pictures as week goes along, ladies seem happy so far.

D13 - BOOM! The new #1 had made her modest appearance. Only the top of the seed is visible so far, but it's a start. :) #2 is moving along nicely, quietly doing her thing. D14 - #1 is still shy and hasn't fully emerged yet, but she is at least poking up more than yesterday, so there's progress at least. #2 is doing great, and I like her structure. Short and stout with large leaves and very short internodal spacing. She is 7 cm tall but already 11 cm wide. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - No idea what is going on with the first girl, but it sure isn't much. The seed has maybe emerged for another two millimeters from the soil, but that is it. The seed hasn't cracked, and no leaves are visible. Hell, I can hardly see the stem. Yesterday, I gave each girl about one liter of the compost tea that I started a couple of days ago. Let's see if that helps, although, at this point, I kind of doubt it. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. The second girl looks great, though, so that's something at least. D20 - Alright, it is official. The third girl died as well. The seed never cracked, and the stem went limp. I have no idea why this happened, and now I'm out of Colorado Cookies seeds, so that's that. I have already planted another seed to see if the problem persists with another strain. I will make a separate diary for that one, though. On the positive side is that the remaining girl looks strong and healthy. She is now 9 cm tall and 18 cm wide on this last day in week two of veg. Upwards and onwards!

89 days!!! I came back after an unplanned long vacation, and when I saw her I immediately realized that today is harvest day, it's a pity that I haven't seen her ripening for the last 12 days, I wasn't with her:D but the result really impressed me, I've never had such a beautiful strain :) the girl has been growing throughout the growth cycle, she's been growing really vigorously!!! Her smell really reminds me of cherries :) the flowers have grown very stiff and full of trichomes, I can't wait to taste her:) the update will be after the harvest has dried up:) good luck to everyone:).

This week I added a 4 inch duct on the lower left side right by the fan, so it pulls in fresh air from another room. Also, I made a bunch of 1 inch holes in my buckets, then lined them up with mold resisting drywall tape and finally I wrapped the buckets in shiny hvac tape, figured it would help with the light. I have 2 temperature and humidity probes, one by the canopy and the other one lower. I must say that I was pleased with the progress so far.
