Never heard of weedseedsexpress before coming to grow diaries. Saw the contest as a great opportunity to try new seeds, and I was very surprised with the outcome. 100% germination rate, super strong plants, easy to grow, when it comes to pests and plagues, also performed well... even tho one was chopped because of becoming hermie, didnโ€™t had any other issues with it. They like space to grow! And taking 2kg from 5 plants, to me, itโ€™s an absolute record! Iโ€™ll definitely wanna try now more of @weedseedsexpress and recommend you guys to try them too. Weed has been drying now for 4 days, so, pretty soon Iโ€™ll be able to add the final weight!

Hey Growmies! Iโ€™ve been out of town, so this entry is a bit off-schedule, and watering was handled by an automatic irrigation system. That said, the flowers are looking big and developing fast, with senescence in full effect. The leaves are yellowing significantly, which tells us the plants are now entering the late stage of their lifecycle. Theyโ€™re basically ready for harvest any day nowโ€”depending on your individual preference. Iโ€™m going to let them ride a little longer to aim for no more than 10% clear trichomes. ๐Ÿ™‚ --- Quick rundown on everything else: Watering: 1500ml every third day Fertilizer: According to the BioBizz schedule Light intensity: ~1000 PPFD VPD: ~1.82 kPa Temperature: ~28ยฐC Relative humidity: ~50%

Seeing big changes this week alls running well introducing the sf1000 in this week for some extra lighting. Still very slow growth hopefully autos dont start flowering soon going to top some photos at the end of the week and keep them in veg longer so the autos can stay on 18/6 for an extra 2 or 3 weeks. New light and nutes waiting to arrive

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! 1.) I think the Purple Lemonade might have flipped into preflower already like the other Red Poison and Dark Devil 2.) Think the Purple Lemonade has Tobacco Mosaic Disease? No worries for me dur only thing I can see with the streaking/twisted new growth but the Purple Lemonade is doing fine otherwise ๐Ÿ˜ˆ More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights ๐Ÿ™Œ Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below ๐Ÿ‘ Moved the Purple over to it's final 5gal on Jan 26 and started light LST + watering from the bottom of the tray to coax the roots down as opposed to a top pour. Still giving them hourly sprays of basic water foliar and the light water/hydrogen peroxide spray mixed in here and there for piece of mind/extra cleaning from the soil contact during transplant. Looks like bits of purple/red flecks are starting to creep in to the stems so hopefully keeping my window open at night to drop the temperatures will pull some great colours in my tent for the first time ๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ˜ˆ I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Threw some videos in this week as well with some Queen's Radio GaGa, Beastie Boys' Brass Monkey, and a little hint of Arkells ....COME TO LIGHT on the short @ViparSpectraLED ..GET IT.. ๐Ÿ˜“ -- Thanks for checking in! Throw down a like and/or follow so I can return the favour ๐Ÿ™Œ Check out my Diary of the Year 2020 Entry for my Original Auto Sour Diesel: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/54258-fastbuds-original-auto-sour-diesel-grow-journal-by-glazedgrow IG: @GlazedGrow CannaBuzz: @GlazedGrow

Day 21. I post one day earlier, but its a huge week for them. Cleared space, install chicken wire fence. Added worm castings, epsom salt, mono potassium, calcium nitrate , Great White, Biosys and hope they will be ok. Next visit in two weeks. Root system was good, couple girls had mini root bound on the bottom, so timing was perfect ! Sherbet was strongest, purple haze weakest, both Apples were ok too. Happy Growing !!!

Week 5 flower. This one just grows slow. Slowly filling in. Very frosty, but not a nice smell. Hopefully the flowers end up tight, hard, and smelling great. Lights are at 12-14โ€ from canopy, and plants are taking it well. Blumat drip still working, and hand watering once a week with Gaia Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17. Not going to top dress anymore as these 30 gallon pots have lots to offer still and this plant is using nothing really. Thanks for views!

I have build a new lamp holder. Doesn't look reliable, but still strong enough to keep the lamp above the plant. I didn't want to change nutrients ration before I'd a real flowering, but she thinks different, at 4th day I found some sick leaves. Wasn't really sure why was that, I bet for lack of K, so I increased bloom and grow nutrients. And the next day I also decided to add bacterias. Also, since she wasn't growing fast, I bought vitamins (B52) to help her. I could've done it earlier, I just didn't have it at home :D Now, when she entering flowering, she becomes much less flexible and more fragile. So I don't really stretch her anymore, just sorting up some top leaves, so the buds would get more light. Also I continue doing defoliation as before. Idk, what to think, cause I was sure, I'd see some real buds this week, but I didn't. She's switching really slow, and didn't grow as much as I expected. I switched light time from 22/2 to 20/4. Previous time was experimental for me, and now I'm afraid that it might be a problem for slow growing, we'll see how it goes now. But, perhaps, slow growth is consequence of tops, that I've done and now she just needs more time and I shouldn't worry that much. Anyway, she still looks mostly healthy for me. What do you think?

Added Buddy halfway through this week. Really impressed with these nutrients so far, there's been no problems or defeciences the entire grow. All plants look happy, healthy and green. This plant is on the left of the timelapses.

This grow was all about learning the process of hydroponics. Needles to say It is not as easy as it looks and takes a lot of time to set up and so... But along the way with help from several growmies it came to a unexpected result. 227 gram dry weight of good quality cannabis. This result ,I'm very happy ,has so much room for improvement that I can't wait for the next grow. I like to thank Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these awesome genetics, I suspect this is a big part of the result, the freebies and a lot of weed. Ofcourse I couldn't wait for the cure and started smoking. Man this stuff is sticky!! The smell is already hard to resist. The taste could be better,no cure yet, Very fresh but you smell and taste the potential. Being a long time haze smoker the effect is not exactly my thing but at night after dinner with a cup of coffee that's more what this is. Being a older person the hardest part of this contest is this damn diarie. Still find it difficult to find my ways. How many times I have to do this over ๐Ÿ˜ค I will grow this stuff again , never was a big fan of autoflowers but this outcome made me a believer. The starting plugs that came with these seeds are from now on a absolute must have! You see the difference . I cleaned the Aquafarm and it's ready for the other strain "Legendary OG Punch", that's now inside the growplug. Unfortunately to late for a full grow to be in competition but will make a diarie never the less.

๐Ÿ‘‹Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. When H+ ions are added to soil, the first nutrient displaced from exchange sites is typically aluminum (Al3+), if it's present, followed by calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), and potassium (K+), because aluminum and these base cations have different binding strengths. The order of displacement depends on the lyotropic series, where ions with a higher positive charge and those with weaker binding strengths are displaced first. The specific order of nutrient displacement is determined by the lyotropic series, which ranks the strength with which cations are adsorbed by soil particles: Al3+: Most strongly adsorbed, so if present, it will be displaced by H+ ions, leading to increased solubility of aluminum and potential plant toxicity. Ca2+: Displaced next, as it is more strongly bound than Mg2+ or K+ but less than Al3+. Mg2+ and K+: Displaced after Ca2+. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrfication process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

10/10/2022 - 64 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds๐ŸŒฑ Fifth week of flowering of my BCN Power Plant ๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒป Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - this week I keep serving and adding Jungle Indabox Environ X - bud stimulator ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud - I canceled the bud stimulator mix and stayed with Jungle Indabox because the girls got a little burnt, the classic brown color appeared on the tips of the leaves ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ‚ I stuck with Bud Candy, all my girls need plenty of carbs ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿญ Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Training: I did more defoliation with BCN, I feel that it has too many leaves in the buds, so I pruned it a lot ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ Light: Believe - the best light of sponsor Mars Hydro TS 1000 ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’ก In general: The plant is strong, manages nutrients well, absorbs as needed. The leaves are deep green, you can see that it is a sativa. As far as flowering is concerned, she is the slowest for now - compared to the other girls in the box. It only has white pistils and the flowers are not yet fully formed ๐Ÿต๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฎ I think at least in one week. It smells really wonderful, she revealed her spicy scent ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒ Thanks for the likes and you can follow me on Twitter ๐Ÿฆ: @ Targona666 See you soon ๐Ÿ˜
