Some mild defoliation this week. Budding up nicely and starting to frost. This girl was having a foliar feed of algae last week but this week she's getting light foliar sprays of the Lacalva stress treatment from madame grow on top of her other feed. I'll do this every 2/3 mornings and I'll only lightly mist the top. I'll concentrate most of my foliar feed on the lower growth and undersides, away from the buds. This is the main reason I kept so many lower fan leaves this time.

Another solid week of growth!! The two big plants nearly doubled their height and both had a lot of undergrowth this week! I plan on trying my hand at LST tomorrow. I added more soil into the pots yesterday. I still feel it is too low but I don't want to shock the plants too badly. I watered after lifting the plants up some and adding the soil. I plan on feeding them tomorrow night. The first white pistils have sprouted and there is a distinct aroma of marijuana in the air!! I hope they hold off another week before really start to flower. It's amazing how fast a month can go by! I may not keep the little plant past this week. We'll see if she makes it that far... Here's to another week of healthy growing!! Peace!

She´s amazing, really strong and so beautiful. I made some defoliation and she´s even´t get notice. Their buds are amazing, getting a lot of top buds who makes me dream with a good heavy harvest.

Her green still not were i want so i am keeping the nutrispray for a few days more at least until i like the colors better, apart from that she is growing great actually, wen looking at last week defoliation and now , i mean lol Sorry so short update i will keep updating among this week <3 <3 <3 Decided to connect my spider-farmer to increase my PPFD, i love this MARSHYDRO TSW2000 but in my humble opinion a 4x4 needs a bit more PPFD Power wen in flower mode bringing up my average PPFD to 1000 umol/m2/s lets see if she likes the idea or not. And like i suspected she did like more light and the color is changing bringing her green colors back to normal, did a leaf inspection just in case and posted some photos of my under leaf microscopic view, all good by the way lol , with this meaning that next week i will provably stop Nutrispray since i don't like so very much to apply any type of foliar during flower. And As i suspected i have an bug infection lol freaking trips found them way in to my closets, them a i dont know if mites, but i have something in this closet that webs and i cant find it RRR, i guess its part of the game, just been long long long time since i encounter any situations like this, and that is why its happening, i got way to comfortable and lazy on my IPM. This is one of the reasons why is so important to checking in a microscopic way under leafs etc Im ordering a bunch of beneficial insects , traps etc and going in from all sides lol non so ever she is looking great, not the best color leafs i know , but she is moving fast and furious . This week was good, Did the transplant from 7.5L/2Gal to 28L/7Gal, Stared to do some LST but the main stem broke on two "blue and Red" of the three plants. Kinda sucks but a bit to aggressive, on the third plant "yellow" I also used LST just not as strong and got the shape and placement I was looking for. Will have to wait for the others to heal and then I can try again. IDK how long it will take, but I'll give it a full week. Sucks as the tips will be getting more light then the others. I also ran out of soil so had to make up a half batch as well to top off the pots, got about 8L leftover for transplanting the peppers and what not, tents so full I had to remove the clones and one smaller plant. They are growing in a window now. The extras where Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4, Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4, Gaia Green Insect Frass 3-2-4, Gaia Green Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, Bokashi Grains, Epsom Salts, Yeast Powder, Fluvic Acids, Enzymes, Silicon and Multiple Microbes. PH adjusted really low as the amendments have a lot of rock dusts and such, wanted them to be broken down by the time the roots reach em. Watered in with 4L on each container, Should be ok for the first few days, will need to judge how they are doing in a bit and see if their roots are colonizing the new area. no idea how the clones will do outside the tent, Still have them in a plastic bag till I can see roots in the containers they are in. Checking about once a week. My goal is to veg this out for another 3-4 weeks and top it one last time they switch to bloom with a SROG net, should have good coverage and lots of cola sites per plant. Week 4 – Veg State: Manual watering with RO water, compost tea, molasses, and liquid seaweed with topical application of Mycorrhizal fungi spores 1x per week. FIM'ed both plants on Friday to increase bud sites.

Had to toss one of these but have a clone still. Going to post pics of #2 in its place. Aight so the other day I found another hermie in the very early stages. So I emptied the tent and sat in there in the pitch black for 15 minutes to let my eyes adjust looking for anywhere light could get in. Because I have 2 veg tents in the same room on 19 hr schedules it's impossible for me to have the room the tent is in be pitch black. There was no leaks in the fabric but the air vents at the bottom, even tho I only have 3 open a little bit, let in the slightest amount of light. I had to toss out a mandarin cookies R1V2, a bwiz x Rocberry and a gushers. I found a male flower on a Hawaiian snow x wc x g33 on a lower but instead of tossing it I removed all the lowers and am going to check daily to see if its aight or not. I ordered a ac infinity 4 inch fan, some light proof ducting and a intake carbon filter to be able to set up a intake and close the vents. Very little pollen may have dropped which could seed everything but I might have found it just in time we will see. I almost retired on the spot but I'll give the intake fan a shot as a last ditch effort. Otherwise I would have to remove the veg tents or have intake fans and no open vents for all tents. At this point I'm checking the plant for signs telling me it's time to harvest. I think I'm getting pretty close at this point. She is putting out a strong smell and has a sativa structure with tall and dense flowers. I fed a really heavy compost extract this week with calmag and Golden Tree. Process/ Environment changes: - turned off one Ts1000 yesterday when I cut down the blackberry auto - humidty set to 45-50 % RH I'm on auto pilot at this point and I'm looking forward towards the dry and cure phase. I have purchased 1 gallon glass jars to cure the flower in. I have also purchased 2 way humidity pack to help keep my cure on the right track. I will go in to detail about my process when the time has come to dry the flower.

First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Day 33: What an amazing height and bud gain in just 3 days! Lady #1 is 67 cm tall now, her sister a tad smaller. Both still have a great color, and I dared to cur away just the lowest branches and leaves that do not look like they could gain height in time. Really enjoying this strain so far! At the end of their day, they are a bit dropping leaves, so clearly no hunger for more light. The impressive growth speed continued on their buds: Tallest lady at 70 cm now. Their next morning shows growth is still at an impressive 5 cm/day as lady #1 with her leaves erected again stretches now 72, the maximum of my previous growth. Pulled the lights as close as possible to the ceiling and hope they won’t make it much more than 1 m. I activated the Sansi 30 W folded wings LED to give them somewhat of a morning and evening light and to add some more light to their overlapping center branches in the middle of "their" day. Sadly that’s causing some interference to the timelapse videos, but I can’t say they’re perfect if it wouldn’t. Watching the timelapse video of day 34, I have the feeling the additional light rather irritates them. Maybe the interference is not only visible for electronic eyes. I’ll keep it off next day for comparisons. Day 35 shows stretch speed has reduced indeed and they seem to be concentrating on leaf and bud growth instead. 75 cm, so we are currently at "only" 3 cm/day. Watered them with a HPE/Bud growth mix again last night, about 1 l each. Well, forget my words about reduced growth. After they recovered during the night, we are at 77 cm for lady #1. Which measured at 78 with hanging leaves in their day’s evening. I must have missed a day number – day 36 concludes their 5th week. I gave them another 2 l of fertilised water each and will lave them for the weekend again. Video shows that growth concentrates now more on leaf and bud development than on gaining height. So I guess my 160 cm tent will be sufficient. For a moment I was worried, but it looks like stretch is over. Anyway, time to rearrange the camera next week. Leaves are running out of focus.
