It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

This level of similarity reinforces the idea that these genetics are well-selected and stable. Thick, smelly dense buds ... They are still drying, some off them allready wet trimmed, some of them still attached to the stem, hanging to dry slower ... So can't come up with any numbers. It's a very nice harvest though 🤠

Week 10 January - 16 January 10/1 - Last feed

Overall I'm very happy with this grow. There were a lot of small buds, and I realize with more skill as a grower I'll train my plants properly and defoliate the lower leaves and branches before they develop into buds. It took me about 5 hours to trim this entire plant down, and I feel a lot of that was because of all of the small buds. Hopefully the only real loss on these small buds is bag appeal. Really this is all for myself so I don't care if the buds are small... this round 😜 The smell in my apartment while harvesting was so nice. It smelled like super sweet citrus weed... beautiful. I didn't get as much fade as I expected leading up to harvest. I've been too timid with watering and was afraid to give this plant a good flush. Hopefully since she was fully organic it should still taste fine. I won't be growing a single plant in a 10 gallon bucket for a while, I feel this was just too big for an inexperienced grower. It made watering this thing difficult. I'll post more updates once this fully dries and cures for a while. Thanks for following my grow if you have. Quite happy with how most of it turned out, even canopy and all, despite the issues. In this week I decided to flush the center plant (A) and switched nutes to Canna, but it was too late already and I was planning to harvest in 2 weeks regardless.

I finally got a new certified TDS monitor and figured out that my last one was cheap and unreliable. I'm getting much better readings for this part of the veg cycle (600-700). Running pH a little on the high side to rectify what I thought might have been a slight magnesium deficiency caused by pH Down-ing the shit out of it before I went on vacation (got down to like 5.5 which I figured would fix itself as alkalinity levels in the water rose). This week I finally proceeded with the first of the mainlining steps outlined in the Nebula Haze tutorial on Grow Weed easy. The plants are freshly topped and their remaining growth tips are tied down. Now we wait and see how they respond in week 4!

Bulk time, just kidding the chocolope is still growing upward and stacking jesus. I do notice some branches are bulking up now, calyxes swelling, but really no hairs turning yet.

Day 57. Very frosty beautiful buds going. About to do some minor defoliation. Day 60. Fed with megacrop. Giving it megacrop every other watering, 10-15% runoff.

New Aeroponics "root rain" mist cloner! Holds 2 gallons of water. I added 8 Tsp of CloneX clone/seedling nutrient. PH was 6.0-6.5ish, good enough! These clones inside got zapped pretty hard one day, because I forgot to plug in the water pump one time after playing with it hehehe... Some didn't make it, but most survived! every other plant was watered with just de-chlorinated tap water, for re-hydration. #4 has been selected as the winning pheno! The mother plant had her home upgraded to a 2gal pot. The root ball was not so bound, due to her receiving a root-prune not too long ago, she was re-potted back into a solo cup. I pruned the bottom of the root mass off with a light pinch, and potted her into her new 2gallon home!

Just notice that one of the fan leaves that I put a small LST clip on has snapped off. Thinking that I may be better off sticking to the large clips removed a few of the LST clips and tied down branches with garden wire. I think this may be the better solution. Accidentally used 1 tsp for Bloom instead of 1/2 tsp. 5ml should be fine for a large plant, hopefully no nute burn as a result. So far she seems to be loving the extra nutes. Plants appear to have loved the 5ml of Bloom. No signs of burn this morning. Did some defoliation today to try and remove large leaves that were blocking light to bud sites

Coming along nicely, been using a and b, also flower burst. And now I'm using tiger bloom
