Sep 7: nice lemony smell happening and the buds are forming. Not a particularly fast flowering plant but it’s going good. Sep 8: got some time under the UV light this afternoon. Once the Blueberry Pie is done she’ll get more UV light hours but for now she has to wait her turn. Sep 12: cool nights starting to cause some purple colour. Nice smell to her, but really leafy and seems a bit slow. Watered with potassium silicate and cal-mag today.

Day 32, I deleafed a couple days ago once I first seen flowering starting.

She has developed perfectly up to now 👍. It will be harvested in the next 10-14 days. Until then, she still has enough time to use up all her nutrients. The trichomes are already 60% milky, 30% clear and 10% amber. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each. As always, the tent was cleaned and everything checked. Have fun with the update. The Mentha de Croco mutants truly live up to their name, with each leaf telling its own story—some broad and serrated, others narrow and elongated, all equally breathtaking. Watching them evolve week by week is a lesson in patience and appreciation for the beauty of diversity in nature. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions Good news on the environmental front! The room’s temperature has stabilized to a more comfortable range, with daytime temps at 22°C and RH steady at around 66%. These are near-ideal conditions for vegetative growth, helping the girls to stay happy and stress-free. Additionally, I’ve been sticking to bottom-watering. This method has made a noticeable difference in keeping the grow area clean and pest-free! 🛠️ Cultivation Techniques: To Clone or Flip? The big question of cloning or flipping still hangs in the air. I’m taking my time to observe and assess their progress. Each plant is so unique that I want to give them the space and time to reveal their full potential before deciding. Let’s touch on the two potential strategies for next steps: 1. Flipping to 12/12 for a Short Period: This would allow me to determine sex quickly, but it can stress the plants slightly. 2. Cloning: Creating clones and flipping them instead is a great way to preserve the integrity of the main plants while identifying males and females without disrupting their growth cycle. Both approaches have their merits, and I’m leaning toward cloning once they’re big enough to snip without harm. 📸 Photography Corner: Highlighting Details This week, I brought out the cameras again—my trusty Nikon and Sony with interchangeable lenses—because, let’s face it, phone cameras just don’t do justice to the intricate beauty of these plants. For close-ups, I used a macro lens, which allowed me to capture every vein and serration on those incredible mutant leaves. Well, probably this is her last week. There might be a chance of me holding for another week for more than one reason, but mostly because I think she is a little late. A noticed that the first week of flowering took longer to show flowering signs, something I usually see quickly. And the stretch took a little more time than it usually does. So, by Thursday I'll be sure. Still, as you can see, the yield will not be that good, we can't win them all, can we? Nevertheless, it is a healthy plant, with awesome genetic material and I'm already anxious to grow the last seed I have, which will begin July 2025. Also, I uploaded a pictures showing a light green structure. It seems to me like male flowers already opened, but no really. I dont know. The other LSSH had the same thing, developing close to the end, but there where no seeds at all.

Gave her a nice LST+Defoliation session after the week 1 of flower stretch! She's currently drinking a 1 gallon dosage of the above listed nutes, every 4-5 days!

Day 21: From day 10 to 21 I couldn't take care of the plants because of private reasons, I asked my friend to take care of the plants and he didn't do a good job! He should had asked me or alerted me when he saw mayor problems, not just saying a little bit of light green or yellow. As you can see, we have alot of yellowing beneeth the plants, different sizes and even got some burnt leafs indicate that he didn't water on time. Did some run-off checks and saw many various values😓 Ph between 6.8-7.5 and EC between 1 to 2. The PH should had been 5.8-6 and EC at this stage 1.8+ since they need alot of nutrients because cocos soil doesn't have any. Because of this shit, they have been underfed, burnt, stress and more. Not ideal for autoflowers. Even the reservoir from humidifier was empty, indicating that it hasn't been filled for days!! Also it didn't got sorted out, there are always spots that get dryer faster or stay more wet. Get more light or less. Therefore it is wise to change spots of your plants all the time, I call it dancing. Your plants will grow more equally. If you look at the bigger plants, this should had been the size of all the plants sadly. They now look like they are in end of week 2 instead of week 3 and the bad plants end of week 1 😕 I did some defolation on some plants on the lower area. Roots start to show underneeth the pots, which is really good. I putted the bad plants in left under corner, Lets hope I can still nurse them. I still have 1-2 weeks to fix this before it goes into flowering, lets hope they will still grow double in size, otherwise this will be a lower rewarding grow.
