This week has been awesome as far a new growth . The girls are coming along fine . I’m seeing some yellowing on the leaf tips so for the next few watering I’m going to use straight water and no nutrients. Overall both plant are healthy. I have some defoliating to do on both plants . I started low stress training but I stopped because with my work schedule ,it turned out to be a lot of work . So I plan on ordering a Scrog net to keep the girls evened out. Also every week or so I rotate the plants about a 1/4 turn to distribute sunlight and I’ve been tucking some of the bigger fan leaves 🍁 to get more light at the bottom.

Tank setup is as follow: Tank 40 liter Air Pump 2.5w SHANDA SD-900 Mini Aquarium Water Pump Small 2 Air Stone Grow medium mostly consist of small sea shells and rocks washed and packed. Fish: Gold Fish named Ed, Edd, Eddie After the wash of the grow media and Tank water fill I let the system run for a week. This allows the water condition to stabilize. Used spring water. The fish were placed in tank still in bag for water temp reasons. Opened the bang and kept the fish in tank for a week before planting seeds. Micro Bacteria to form in grow medium. Will be adding a Root Conditioner soon. New update on week 2; things are going well so far, transplanted the seedlings to 0.75l pots with 60% coco-coir, about 30% worm castings, and perlite. I've also added some nutrihemp (about 12gr) which is a earth organic fertilizer containing some micro-nutrients and seaweed minerals. Keeping a average humidity around 60-75% by a wet towel underneath the pots, temps are nice and stable between 19 to 22C (66.2F - 71.6F). Also slowly started on nutrient feeding. Received a message that my R-DWC (hydro) has been dispatched, along i ordered 5 huge 200mm ceramic air stones for maximum dissolved oxygen. I am thinking to switch to LEDS soon, stay tuned.

Solution at the end of the week was good with PPM, but PH started going to 5, I didn't have anything to increased it, so I changed solution Feeding: (Kinda Micro) NPK20, B 0.01, Cu 0.02, Fe 0.04, Mn 0.01, Mo 0.002, Zn 0.002 - 0.23 gr/liter. (Kinda Grow) N 15.5 CaO 26 - 0.16 gr/liter. (Kinda Grow) NPK 10 5 40 + 2 MgO - 0.26 gr/liter. (Kinda Bloom) NPK 0 0 51 + So3 34 - 0.33gr/liter (Kinda Bloom) NPK 0 52 34 - 0.5 gr/liter. Week two I tried the scrog net but ditched it. Started using the heavy 16 line up as well. I had a spider mite issue that I squashed with neem oil. You can see they are bouncing back.

Poor Skunk Apple really is the runt of the litter. I think we can blame my rookie mistake of giving it a gallon of water that was way too strong. It's been struggling to recover ever since. Hopefully this little guy will catch up eventually, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet! I can't believe how much my plants have grown during this stretch! It's like they've been on some serious plant steroids. They've all at least doubled in size, some of them even more. I have a hard time with overwatering, especially now that it's harder to let them dry out. I just don't know if I'm damaging the roots with all this growth.
