Missed last week so the measurements for their feeding was for 8 weeks this week they got PH water only 3 liters each. These girls are in their final stretch they will get one more feeding and then start the flush. They get fed or watered every 4 days as needed. Ultimate #3 which has been the dwarf since the beginning has wind burn from the fan had to readjust the fan and move the lights up so the other two don’t get fried. They are looking and smelling good and their buds are coming together nicely. As with the last batch of Ultimates they aren’t sticky yet they seem to wait to really develop that stickiness until just before harvest.

04/01/21 Amazing colours have came through during cure showing off her red and purple! And she’s frosty all over and tastes like a tropical dream!mango pineapple tones with a side of lime! Would defiantly recomiod Update; colours are coming through got some amazing hues just uploaded some vids 😍 Got the green pheno on both???! But it’s but either way I love this strain tastes a lot like the black cream auto I’ve done of sweet seeds too. So many colours in the bud and the flavour is immense throughout! Tastes like tropical mango and slight pineapple with a lovely pungent limeish taste it’s so nice and the high sent me to sleep when I tested the result! Just had to lay there and close my eyes and enjoy it and woke up to the end of my film ahahah would defiantly recommend Anyone growing very easy and amazing results!

I have been adding EcoThrive charge too much which has cause lockout due to excess nitrogen in the soil, at first I thought it could have been PK but some research and listening to Brandon Rust I have come to my conclusion that it is a nitrogen toxicity. I was adding far too much organic microbes and supplements. Basically nitrogen locked out Calmag that caused tip burn, the plants or on the edge of a nitrogen toxicity but because they’re in Coco and have had a mixture of organic and synthetic the organic side has acquired to much nitrates locking out calcium to the tips of the leaves The BBM has had tip burn the cheese looks too green, both are dark green but the Cheese has more foliage to store the nitrogen hence why little tip burn but more of a vegetative colour, the BBM has hardly any fan leaves left after a strip early in flower. I also think I defoliated too early, but then to second guess I believe if I didn’t feed to much organics the flowers would be much further along. After the previous 2 feeds I can notice the buds picking back up again. Hopefully I can continue with this mix I’m using now and get some consistent bud growth over the next week. I’ll be glad when this one is over. The summer heatwaves are just tiring when you’re growing especially in coco. ⭐ TrolMaster tracking ⭐ I started to track my crop during week 15, when I got the Tent-X TCS-1 by TrolMaster. First impression was: this is too professional for me, I can't handle setting it up and using it well. Then I started reading some posts on Instagram, I visited their site and in 5 minutes my cultivation experience took a huge step forward with disarming simplicity, I couldn't believe it. I have uploaded tracking videos from the TrolMaster app for each week from the 15th to the 19th, as well as the two weeks of drying stage. ⭐ Controller Chronicles ⭐ Day after day I appreciated the clarity and precision for data, access to all settings and instant readings by connecting a WIFI router to the controller's LAN port. I loved the possibility to dim my lamps remotely, or even automatically based on the temperature in the box! 🌱 GERMINATION (2 days) Seeds in a glass of EC 0.4 tap water for 10 hours, then in root riots and under the lamp. They sprouted after 48 hours from dry seed. 🌿 GROWING STAGE (10 weeks and half) I decided to give these plants a long vegetative growth and this allowed me to do a lot of training on both. Starting from the 4th veg week I started with defoliation sessions every two weeks, for a total of four during the entire vegetative phase. The last defoliation was done a couple of days before the switch, in order to allow the lower parts of the plant to get as much light as possible. Furthermore I did Topping on week 6, cutting the apical branch, then on week 8 I did Topping again on several sites, as well as SuperCropping on the highest branches to make the canopy uniform. The light cycle I used is 18/6 and the last two veg weeks I lowered the light hours to 16/8 first and 14/10 then. During the veg stage I made 4 DWC change, PH was always between 5.5 and 6, about EC I started with 0.6 and was 1.4 on the last veg week. 🌸 FLOWERING STAGE (9 weeks) I started this phase after 36 hours of darkness, I then changed the DWCs solution (adding a flowering stimulator). Then I mounted the ScrOG-net about 50 cm from the base of the plants and I wove the phenotype #1 through the net occupying at least 60% of the available space; the phenotype #2 stretched shortly after the switch and I used the net only to widen the central branches. They showed the pre-flowers two weeks after the switch, then I made two defoliations on week 3 and 5 flo. During the last four weeks of flowering (weeks 6-9) I simply paid attention to the PH-EC levels to provide the roots with optimal conditions. I then kept the TEMP-RH-VPD-PPFD values ​​under control and this also thanks to the Tent-X controller by TrolMaster which allows me to provide optimal conditions also above. I chopped them when trichomes were about 85% milky and 15% amber. During the flowering stage PH was always between 5.8 and 6.2, about EC I started with 2 and was 2.3 on the last week before flush. ✅ HARVEST - From dry seed to harvest: 140 days (2 days germination + 75 days veg + 63 days flo). - Chopped after 4 days flush and 48 hours in dark; - Wet trim, removed fan leaves. ✅ DRYING STAGE - Time: 14 days; - Average: 20° C - 50% RH. - After that I made a dry trim, removed branches and sugar leaves. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT - Phenotype #1: 230 gr buds + 25 gr larf; - Phenotype #2: 105 gr buds + 50 gr larf. So, the overall dry weight is: 335 gr buds + 75 gr larf. ✅ CURING STAGE - Curing is done after 30 days with Boveda 62%.

Week 11 (03/28/22 - 04/03/22)

I was slightly disappointed with the yield but I’m content with the taste and affect that I got from the plant .

[DAY 64] - 3/8/2022 - Lamp 40 cm from the center of the canopy (20 cm from the top) and 100% dimmer (144 watt); - TEMP. 30°/31° - RH 40-50%; - EC 1.7 - PH 6; started with EC 1.7 and after 24 hours EC is 1.95; - 73 cm height; - LST on 4 branches to open the canopy; - Removed some damaged leaves; - Added new PH down: CANNA PH DOWN BLOOM (instead PH DOWN by GHE). I prefer GHE, it seemed more effective; - Let's see what happen this week, I want to see big flower by the end of this week; next one I'll add Bloombastic again; - A lot of leaves with yellowed tips, I hope it is not suffering excessively the temperatures. [DAY 65] - 4/8/2022 - Lamp 40 cm from the center of the canopy (20 cm from the top) and 100% dimmer (144 watt); - TEMP. 30°/31° - RH 50%; - EC 2 - PH 6; tomorrow I add lighter solution to keep EC to 1.7; - In the last couple days I noticed plant drank less than usual, the half. I guess it was very stressed due defoliation, but seems to be recovering well. - Today I did bit defoliation and in the coming days I let the plant rests, then we'll see if another defoliation is still needed. I don't want to exaggerate. [DAY 66] - 5/8/2022 - Lamp 40 cm from the center of the canopy (20 cm from the top) and 100% dimmer (144 watt); - TEMP. 31°/32° - RH 60%; - EC 1.7- PH 6; tomorrow I add lighter solution to keep EC to 1.6; - Did a growquestion about some brown spots on some leaves: https://growdiaries.com/grow-questions/49286-brown-spots-on-some-leaves. If tomorrow it continues to rise, I try to further dilute the solution. - Added a new better quality video. [DAY 68] - 7/8/2022 - Lamp as usual; - Temp. 31°/32° - RH 60%; - EC still rising, that's the reason why I added 2 l. demineralized water to bring EC to 1.1; - Solution in DWC at the moment has this composition: Silicate 0.25 g/l - Calmag: 0.25 ml/l - A: 0.8 ml/l - B: 1.6 ml/l up to EC 0.94 - Bloom stim. 0.5 ml/l and Bloombastic up to EC 1.05. Added 2 l. dem. water to lower EC a little bit; - I guess plant is drinking about 2 l. of solution / day, good! [DAY 70] - 9/8/2022 - Lamp as usual, I'm planning to lower it near the tallest bud (from 20 cm to 15 cm) to reach better the lower bud sites - Temp. 30° - RH 50%; - Last day of this week, some problems last days.

Last week ahead. Next time will cut nitrogen earlier. These ice cream cakes did not like it at this level. Also had a little dripper clog and mokums tulip got a little burnt. At these high ec levels they are super sensitive to drybacks.

Week 4 At the beginning of this week she looked rather unhappy. Think I’m gonna leave off the rain water for a bit and go back to tap. I’ve ordered calmag and bio heaven so I can’t wait for these to arrive. I also removed about 12 lower bud sites and defoliate. She’s a strong plant every morning I had to keep forcing the colas down. She loves a spraying in the mornings :D She’s drinking very well. And omg the size of the stem at this age I’ve never seen this before. Toward the end of the week she went into flower. Is this right? Happy with her so far

Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows.
