11/24: Both Black Jacks finally turned the corner and are looking like they'll produce for me.👍 The big Zkittlez just keeps on stretching and outpacing most of the other plants....looks like a supercropping is in her immediate future. Kinda sux, because she's got picture-perfect, textbook, conifer structure😑 11/25: Had to raise the lights today about 5 inches to accommodate the big Zkittlez and a Sucrose Overdose..couldn't bring myself to ugly her up yet..maybe everybody else will catch up (ya right) For now, I'm using platforms of various heights for the shorter plants, to keep the canopy level.

Day 79: Second Grow We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

I should have more room for this one in the next 2 to 3 weeks, then I can start growing her. I am flexing my gro knowhow muscles by keeping this one as small as possible for as long as I need it to without killing it. Sometimes this technique will come in handy so it is good to practice it.

Harvest starts today on Day 56. 36 Hours of darkness begins now. Watered yesterday. Don't have time to upload/process photos, will do so later. For now just the one video of trichomes. You can also see an unwelcome guest at the beginning, although I'm not sure if it's a spider mite. Not taking any chances though, and the trichomes have begun to decay anyways, so harvest time it is. I'm kind of in shock about reaching this point in the grow 😨 Day 57 - Harvest early tomorrow :) Going to control the humidity to be about 55%. Day 58 - Harvest. And oh my god that smell. Is...Grape soda, which has been sweetened a little too much. It's overpowering when smelling it, but it doesn't get the room too smelly (also have decent ventilation though). I'll post harvest and effects later, after it has dried for a few days and then cured for a week or two. Yield won't be much I think, somewhere between 20-30 grams. Wet weight with stems is around 75.

This plant is very close to being done, I am going to be looking at the Trichomes in a couple of days,, They are starting to Cloud up now and should be done very soon. I am happy I got a couple of plants this cycle as the Central Illinois temps are unpredictable in Winter and spring.....

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Questa settimana ho deciso di montare una lampada di supporto a LED per poter far arrivare a tutte le piante abbastanza luce, le piante continuano a crescere e i fiori sembra che stiano maturando per bene spero di raccogliere almeno 4/5 piante entro 2/3 settimane,perché alcune sono molto indietro rispetto ad altre.

Recovering from her snap well :) Taken central tops for cuts, done another round of topping all round. Should end up with 15 evenly sized colas Up potted to 25L, will flip ina week or so.

Day 28: I have started into week 4, and im curious when the first sights of flower begin. i decided today to cut down my bags, because the lower branches didnt had enough space, maybe this is even the reason why they are so bushy. lets see how this is working now, i bet it will be much easier to water them now. i also cutted one leaf, because it had sunburn because of waterdrops i didnt recognized. The smell is getting also stronger, but still couldnt figure out which plant smells so nice. it is a very nice and fruity mixture. i also decided to Stop LST through binding and bending. i will just Scrog it soon, that should do the part. Day 30: I hope the Temperatures wont drop anymore. had a night with 10.6 °C. The Pineapple Express and StrawberryGorilla did not liked this a lot. But Blueberry, Northern Light and Weddingcake seem to be stronger against the cold. I watered them a bit today, and will also stop giving to much fertilizers. maybe i will skip one Week of fertiolizers, and start again when bloom is starting. Day 32: i think i was again not patient enough. I will just keep them watered until they start to bloom. Will install a SCROG net in a few Days. My worries: 1. I think my Pineapple Express and the Strawberry Gorilla really didnt liked the cold Days. There were Temperatures about 10 °C in the nights. The PE seems to be stunned a bit. The others are developing gut actually, but i hope to have warmer climate soon. My happies: The Red Mimosa is still developing great. Also the Northern light is growing pretty good, and they dont show any sign of struggle because of the low temperatures. My biggest is 30 cm (Red Mimosa), the smallest is my pineapple Express, its only 20 cm so far, but still growing bigger somehow.
