Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week and staying safe. It was a nice week for the Glueberry OG as she grew to her 7th node on day 26 and I just popped off number 7 gently so she will end up with 10 main chutes from 5 nodes as i also removed the bottom node which typically is larfy popcorn buds. If she had not reached node number 7 by day 28ish I would have just topped her above the 5th node as I have had great yields that way as well. Dutch Passion says she takes 11-12 weeks but autos usually start preflowering/flowering between days 28-35 depending on strain so I try to complete all toppings by day 28 or so with autos because if you top them after they start to flower they will suffer. I have topped above the 3rd (for mainlines and mainifolds) as well as the 4th, 5th, and 6th with great results from each. As a general rule, the longer the autoflower is expected to take, the higher up I top her as she will have more time for more colas to develop. Some people think that topping stunts an autoflower, however as long as you allow her to grow a nice ball of roots and she is healthy, it only stunts mine for about 30-45 seconds. Glueberry OG Auto is absolutely loving this Medic Grow light so far, and I am super impressed with how tight she is keeping the nodes. I am running on 60% power in the V1 or vegetative blue stage. I will start working the UV/IR Spectrum into the mix as soon as my 2 seedlings go into coco coir and can handle some more light. The Glueberry OG Auto is currently 6 inches tall and was topped above her 6th node, and since the first node doesn't start until 2.5 inches from the coco, that is a tight group! I will start LST tomorrow on the two top mains, as it has only been 48 hours since topping and they are growing fast. I see alot of growers tie down their entire plant to the ground for LST and that is ok but not beneficial imo. My goal is to keep her nodes tight, and then just LST the mains from the uppermost nodes, as to allow the lower nodes to catch up., while I typically clip the bottom most node as she typically only produces larfy popcorn buds. These are certainly usable for bubble hash/edibles/cannasugar etc. but they do drain some energy from your top shelf colas. The goal of LST should be an even canopy as to minimize apical dominance. This will allow the plant to better utilize the existing light and limit wasted light that converts to heat. Tying a plant down restricts the airflow from the plant and impedes the growth of the lower mains. LST does not require pinning a plant down to the ground with staples, and although a cannabis plant will bounce back from this, it certainly will not reach its full potential. As far as nutrients go, I feed veg nutrients until my auto is almost done stretching then I transition to full flower nutes over about a 6 day period. The only exception is if my plant is growing out of control and I am unable to slow it down through topping, LST, super-cropping, etc. At this point I would make the switch to flower nutes slightly sooner. So she will be feeding on silica, cal mag, and veg nutes for at least a few more weeks here and just some LST. So I found out yesterday that this lady is high CBD. I thought it was a regular indica thc so I'm disappointed to say the least. I'm not a fan of cbd and dont feel it does any of the things some people claim as I've tried it for many ailments and high thc is the only thing that's ever helped me. Due to this, I decided to start her on the flowering schedule early. I'm not too sure on the percentage and weather or not it has any thc, so I'll have to see. Either way I'm very happy with her progress and how well shes doing. I've learned so much from this grow so I know my next one will be awesome.

I hate this part. Sit and wait. AND WATCH! I continue to defoliate lightly. Just big leave casting shadows on lower buds. All buds are starting to swell. This looks to be my best grow of the handful I have done. Knocking on wood and we will see in 3-4 weeks.

Starting to Low Stress Training and super cropping some secondaries

A day late on the diary update as I was out playing golf in paradise yesterday. Caught a 1 in 100 weather day in Half Moon Bay, CA... sunny 70 degrees and less than 10 mph wind. Almost never happens. Normally the choices are heavy fog or high wind, one or the other. Anyway... cannabis... this Cream & Cheese baby is starting to show signs she's gonna need some structural support going forward. A couple of the lower branches are starting to roll over on themselves due to their weight (relative to their structural capacity). She's spread herself out so wide and her branches are rather slender. A large number of leaves on this girl are turning yellow, compared to the other girls on the patio. Normally I just yank off fan leaves as soon as they turn completely yellow. She's 58" tall now and that's probably about it. The video I threw in here is actually a couple weeks old because it took me that long to put together. Video isn't really my thing.

Nothing too wild happened this week. I trimmed her up a bit today before taking pictures, she’s looking good. Doesn’t seem like much is really going on with the plant, but the buds do seem to be getting bigger. While trimming today, I think I found a spider in the leaves I removed. Should I be worried about this? It’s either eating insects or it’s just in there right? Hopefully there are no bugs for this thing to eat. 4 more weeks of flower. Wednesday update: Had an issue. Seems my timers stopped working. Light and filters/fans. Not sure when it happened, but I've reset lights to the normal time setting. Hope this doesn't affect her

160 days of life harvested on day 63 of flower. I don’t have photos of her vegging but she started off great. About two weeks in, she started having some major issues. Her leaves started atrophying, curling up at the borders, growing 3 finger leaves, all new growth was deformed and twisted and growth in general almost stopped completely, to what I suspect was from broad mites. These fuckers are nasty! I dm’d my local grow shop and tried out some Neem Oil. I diluted it in water like they recommended and sprayed that baby every day for one week, then every other day the following week, then down to once a week. I sprayed her leaves stem and surface of the soil. I also cleaned the entire grow space with some bleach solution. Doing this allowed her to really bounce back, growth started to take off again! So I vegged for a few more weeks and trained her as much as I could to keep her uniform but short, she responded well to this. During flower, she was very happy. I had two main issues during this time, one was being too hot in Nitrogen and a week of very hot temperatures which burned her a slight bit, although she didn’t seem to mind much. I also could’ve continued a once a week spray of Neem oil because I think they might’ve started to come back on the lower and younger leaves that weren’t getting much light. Overall it was a dope grow and hope to do better on the next one!

Week 4 of vegetative stage - The routine still the same, plants dont need to be watered by me, because God do it to me, In summer, rain happend in all weeks, my soil humidity is always good and my babies grow much well. Im liking so much this xperience until now. They are very healthy, much more them when I grow indoor. Wind make the LST for my girls. See u next week, bye! 😁

I seem to be improving every time -based on the quantities obtained (70g of buds +15g of leaves) 😁 - this time a marvel of smells and flavors came out 😍 the apical top is decidedly fatter than GG1 (this time I avoided messing with the pH) as well as all the other buds 😍 I don't have much experience with the various strains for now, but I definitely love this one

Keeping the higher pH right now, I lowered the CalMag by 10ml total, and I'm trying to get the VPD under control but I doubt I'll be able to in this closet setup. Next water change I'm going to lower the nutrients in hopes of getting less nutrient burn, and stopping this girl from growing any taller! She tops out at 33.5 inches on her tallest cola, and I have no more room to give it, the lights are as high as they can go. More so than I thought before tbh. Still kept a higher pH, but I lowered the nutrients to a light feeding schedule according to the FloraSeries feed chart and as well as the amount of CalMag and Sweet Berry.

There we go!! This is the last week i’ll be giving them furtelisers.. Its about 2-3 weeks to go.. can not wait! As you can see, I am determined with that “LST” , which sometimes is somewhat more stressfull and ended up breaking some of the colas. But.. do not worry, some ducktape Will do the job 😝

Def worth the grow, took a good bit longer than expected though that is for sure.

Que pasa familia, ya estamos entrando en la recta final de estas misty gorillas auto. Son plantas pequeñas con flores compactas, tengo mucha curiosidad por ver cómo están y como pegan. Ph regulado en 6,2 temperstura aumentó a 27 grados y la humedad la tenemos por debajo de 40%. Queda limpiar raices y poco más , buenos humos fumetillas.
