A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

Day 34 Gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. Added a little maxibloom. Switched lights to 12/12. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxigro .25 tsp maxibloom .25 tsp armor si .5 tsp calimagic .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid Ph to 6.0

it has now clearly gone into flowering. really nice pistols and if it continues like this, it will become really thick buds. it has got a few yellow leaves but that's not bad.

Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Wonder Pie Week five 5th June 2020 Welcome back to my Wonder pie Diary for the Greenhouse Seeds Win a trip to amsterdam Contest. It's been a busy week for the three plants. I waited until aprox mid week (Tuesday 2nd June) to begin some LST And each plant proved to be tricky in one way or another. Plant 1 has very flexible branches that I needed to use tent pegs on to hold down each branch I wanted to train. Plant 2 is very bushy and has quite a few side branches happening so I managed to tie down atleast 6 with some soft wire and left the others to grow a bit longer before I try more LST. Plant 3 was the trickiest because the branches are very stiff and not very willing to bend . I found this out by accidently snapping a branch off. I managed to tie a few down but have the two main branches still growing vertically for the time being. (Wed 3rd June ) Not touching them today and will water tomorrow (Thurs 4th June) Watered each plant with 2 Litres of Water (Friday 5th June) Today I am very happy with the way they responded to the LST all three plants have really bounced back well and look super happy. I have been playing around with a homemade CO2 producer which is very easy to make with household items. Basically I re-used a 1.5l empty water bottle as the container. Then I simply punched a small hole in the lid for the CO2 gas to escape. I then added aprox 7-10 teaspoons of Sugar & half filled it with nice warm water (not too hot) and let the sugar dissolve. Then I added 3 teaspoons of Bakers Yeast and gently shook it all up before placing the lid with the hole in it back on the bottle and placing it inside the Grow tent. The principle of this is that the yeast and sugar react with each other to start "Fermenting" which causes the release of gasses which are made up of CO2. Now whether or not this does anything to make the plants grow any faster is conjecture on my part but I have noticed that the plants look very healthy and growth has been more this week than previous weeks so who knows????? It's worth a try if you have the time and inclination to try it. Well that brings me to the end of this weeks Wonder Pie update. Plant is really hungry,I thought she was finished but she just keeps going. I’m assuming my particular pheno is got to foxtail, buds are growing out the buds ! Wtf, she’s bigs asf her little sister is filling out

Day 15: Stretching way faster than anticipated.. Gonna have to tweak the hangers soon because I'm almost at their limit to raise the lamps anymore. Should have lollipopped/defoliated more in the last training session, hope I'll have the courage to go a bit further the next one in about 3-5days which is going to be the last before harvesting. Buds are finally starting to form and dang it looks like a decent haul IF all goes well. No closeup shots will be presented before the frost starts to kick in. I'm cutting down the Bio-Grow gradually and raising the Bio-Bloom at the same time. Thinking about dropping the Bio-Grow entirely at around week 4 of flowering and starting to blast the girls with some decent amount of PK instead. Day 16: Watered each plant with 2l of nutrient solution and upped the dosage of Bio-Bloom to 3ml/l because of 2 strains were showing some P deficiency on the lower leaves (PC/SS) Day 18: Did the biggest and most gruesome lollipopping/defoliation session I've ever dared to. Promised myself this would be the last but it does seem like I still have to grow some balls to trim them bitches once more in a week or so IF they respond well to this torture. Slight P deficiency still on the Peyote Criticals and Sunset Sherbets so I'm going to full send it the next time watering and go straight for the 4ml/l on Bio-Bloom. Next week of flowering I'm going to bring the big guns in and start giving them some Atami Bloombastic to make them buds really swell up.. or die trying! Day 20: Watered each plant with 2l of nutrient solution and this time I went for the full 4ml/l of Bio-Bloom. Only one of the Peyote Criticals was still showing an ever so slight lack of phosphorous so we'll see how they like the full dosage. The bigger GSC had two pretty pale green older fan leaves (not yellowing but still..) so she received 3ml/l of Bio-Grow instead of 2ml/l to keep her going for about 2 more weeks before I can tolerate a little lack of N and let the leaves fall out on their own. Usually I stop giving grow nutes at around halfway of blooming. Don't know if it's just psychosomatic but I do feel abundant nitrogen in late bloom will make the buds taste a bit harsher and give a little headache no matter how good you flush if you keep going on the "full schedule" till the end. All the buds have a nice little sugar coating forming up and the smell in the tent is becoming nice and fruity. Not sure yet which one of them will be the cream of the crop but everyone looks very promising. OG Kush went through a thorough macro close up session and no visible male flowers are forming anywhere so I might just be able to keep her in the cabin but I'm still prepared to chop her off IF she goes full on Bangkok ladyboy on me. If all goes well this might very well turn out to be my best harvest with this setup so far so I do hope I won't fuck up anything now.

SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on her. She's getting close now! Prolly about 70% cloudy and 5% amber! TUESDAY: I observed some white spots on a few leaves here and there, so I sprayed her today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think she'll be fine. I'll spray her again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because she is already in the harvest window. WEDNESDAY: I watered her today and included a bunch of terpinator, bud candy, bembe, and cha ching. It was her last dose of any nutes...flushing with spring water from here on out. THURSDAY: Took a couple of photos and tried installing my new Solacure FlowerPower UVB light, but it was dead on arrival.😢..back to the 15.0 reptile UVB lights for now I guess...

Finally managed to get some money & bought some real lights (Added a 500W Hps lamp). Also bought aluminum and made a tent . I Lost track of the plants names . The plants seems to be growing for the first time when i added the extra lamp.

good plants for hydro grows they dont stretch too much, buds need support because of the weight at the end. i run in a little calmag issue because i went overboard with the bloombooster around week 5. this caused a lockout top leaves got effected by this other then that i had a huge yield.

While at home i'm at 34~36º in the street things are worse :(. Also humidity fluctuate from 50~65º. At last I removed those ugly & dangerous cables from the branches and used a rubber covered one. For now i only need to fix her in 4 points, 1 per each main branch, as you can see, at about 13 cm of the main branch. Later i will fix her with another 2 points per branch, one in the border of the pot from inside, and the last one also in the pot's border but outside. This week i removed the first horizontal internode on each main branch, and also removed the branch that grows vertically down from the second internode leaving in place the one that grows totally up. At the end of the week i will fix the SCROG mesh, but it's not going to be permanent until later, or maybe not at all due to dark photography, as if i place the mesh i will not be able to move the plant (i need to think about it). For now, I just need it 3 or 4 days to test it as i never placed this 60x60 mesh before, and also i had to cut the central rods for the mesh. About Alice K. she's growing beauty and healthy, some week ago i found a little white spider that i killed, @time (week 7) I didn't noticed any insect signs more. Also remark that she's standing well those temperatures and some days of very low humidity some hours 35% inside the tent. And also the equitative distribution she's developing. Mientras que en casa estoy entre los 34~36º en las calles la cosa es mucho peor. También la humedad está un poco loca ya que a diario me fluctua en casa del 50~65º. Al final he quitado esos cables feos y peligrosos de las ramas y he usado un cable con goma en condiciones. Por el momento sólo he tenido que atar la planta a 4 puntos, 1 en cada rama que he dejado, como se puede ver a unos 13 cm del tallo principal. Más adelante usaré otros dos puntos de fijado en el borde del tiesto, uno de ellos en la parte interior y otro por fuera del tiesto. Esta semana he quitado el primer nodo de cada rama y también la rama que crece hacia abajo del segundo nodo, dejando la rama que crece totalmente hacia arriba. Al final de la semana colocaré la malla de SCROG, pero no va a ser de manera permanente, por lo menos hasta más adelante. Voy a empezar a hacer fotografías de fondo oscuro, y el tener la red me va a imposibilitar la tarea ya que debo sacar la planta del armario para las sesiones (necesito pensar en ello). De momento la quiero montar 3 o 4 días para probarla ya que nunca la había montado antes y también tenía que cortar las barras horizontales para la malla. Sobre Alice K. está creciendo super bonita y sana, hace un par de semanas encontré y maté una arañita blanca (Requiescat In Pace), a día de hoy (semana 7) no he visto más signos de insectos. También debo remarcar lo equitativamente que está creciendo y lo bien que soporta las altas temperaturas y la escasa humedad, hay alguna vez que he mirado el higrómetro y estaba al 35% dentro del armario. My FB 2025 grew so much this week! It grew like a teenager having a growth spurt. LOL. It went from 17 inches to 25.5 inches. My FB 2025 has officially transitioned to the flowering stage. This FB 2025 mystery seed has definitely been amazing to watch grow so far. I am very curious to see the end result. This past our weather has been hot days and cool nights. Perfect for growing.

Day 77 she is looking great and smelling great.She is not a big plant but I am sure she will be some very good smoke.Im going to let her grow for another week or so.

unstoppable :p Day 29: on the video, the 2 on the right side are the Ayahuasca Purps, the other ones are Peyote critical. getting real bushy, need to defoliate soon day 32: they got their first feeding, I only use a minimal amount of blooming nutrients. day 33: plucked some leaves , cuz there was no airflow at all, also installed a new ventilator. day 36: had to pluck some leaves again

J'ai continué mon LST et la défoliation au cours de la semaine passée. J'ai ensuite continué l'arrosage, mais un petit surrengraissage d'azote pointe le bout de son nez alors qu'elle demande toujours du phosphore et du potasium (leger), je vais lui faire un arrosage à l'eau claire, seulement additionné de PK 50/33 pour faire tampon jusqu'à rétablissement de la belle.
