MicroHidroGrow I'm starting the grow directly in flowering. Two of the cuttings didn't take well, but I'm pressed for time. I also took the opportunity to cut the system and put the mother of the cuttings in soil to flower instead of the other 4 cuttings I usually put. So, there are 6 cuttings in hydroponics (of which two are not doing the best) and one mother in 10 liters of soil, to make better use of the space. I got higher quality nutrients for this occasion, but I won't be able to grow big plants because I don't have time for growth. Anyway, I have a lot of faith in this genetic line.
Day 04. The stretch is noticeable. Two of the cuttings didn't take well. The problem was that my rush made me take them out before they had good roots. But considering the rush, I'm not worried. I hope the growth rate stays consistent, so I can get relatively big plants. I'm not expecting too much since I switched them to flowering at 10 cm. But I have a lot of faith in the nutrients and the attention I can give them.
Day 06. The stretch is very interesting. The two little ones are still there. But I'm not worried. The soil plant is also growing quite a bit. I had a nutrient solution leak, so I had to replenish. But apart from that, for now, I'm satisfied. I didn't apply any techniques, but once I finish the pre-flowering, I'm going to cut everything that stays small. I hope to achieve a moderate yield.

MicroHidroGrow Day 08. The second week kicks off. The plants have made a big stretch. They grew 20 cm in a week. There’s a bit of stretching, but nothing to worry about. The two that failed will stay there. For now, the solution maintains the same formulation. I hope to achieve a bit more growth.
Day 13. It was a busy week so I couldn't update more. They are already at an interesting height. I’ve been cutting the small flowers on the lower branches. I still hope they keep stretching a bit, since the variety is sativa. I hope to have more references soon, because for now I can't even imagine what it could turn into.

MicroHidroGrow Day 15. The plants have already reached a very good height. The first white hairs are starting to appear. So far, I’m surprised by the plants' reaction to bud blood. If I can, I’m going to buy bud candy to help the mix a bit. For now, I decided to keep the bud blood at half dosage for another week along with the big bud. We’ll see how it turns out.
Day 17. The stretch continued and the plants reached 51 cm. The little ones got completely covered. In this experiment, you can see the difference between soil and hydroponics. Honestly, I’m surprised. I think the products used are what made the difference. The plants quintupled their total height since going into flowering. And I suspect they will keep stretching for another week. I hope I don’t have height issues because I didn’t plan for that. I think I’m going to cut a few more lower branches since a lot of new shadows are being created. I’ll keep updating.
Day 19. The stretching continues, but slightly. They’ve reached 55 cm. I’ve been cutting some branches and I even think I could cut more. But at this height, everything is getting good light. The difference between the mother plant in soil and the cuttings in hydroponics is becoming more noticeable. Even though I’ve seen it before, having one plant next to the other under the same light really highlights this.
Anyway, I’ve found that the flavor obtained in soil is truer to that of hydroponics. In hydroponics, initially, the plants are stronger in everything, but the flavor is somehow too affected by the nutrients. Even having flushed for two or three weeks, the plant maintains a consistent flavor across all varieties, which seems tied to the nutrition. Whereas in soil, each variety has its distinctive flavor, being different from one another.
The next update will be next week, as I’m running low on solution, I’ll change it before and I’m going to put 12 liters instead of the 10 I’ve been using. The plants are eating a lot.

MicroHidroGrow Day 22. The stretch has slowed down. The plants are starting to fill up with flowers. It's strange for me to have the plants in this shape, since I've always used cuts and LST. They look pretty good, although every time I look at them, I feel like cutting off another branch. But I wouldn't want to diminish the yield. At this point, it would be more counterproductive than anything else. But I think I should have taken more branches than I did.
Day 24. I was naive to think that the growth had slowed down. Today the plants are already 5 cm taller than two days ago. I'm going to have to bend them if they keep this pace. I had to make a video since I don't have a place to take photos from a low angle. I see they're filling up with flowers and I'm starting to imagine the final result.
Day 26. The plants grew another 5 cm in these two days. They're now 65 cm. I'm starting to worry, so I guess I'm going to have to bend them a bit. I'll probably just bend the two tallest ones crossed over each other. I'm feeling hopeful, but I suspect it will take between 7 and 8 weeks. I had to add solution since the reservoir level had dropped a lot, and I added a bit of bud blood. I'll keep using it until the PK moment. I'll keep updating.

MicroHidroGrow Day 29. I had to tie up the plants because they kept stretching, and they were too close to the light. I also raised the light by 25cm, which is all I had left. I added bud blood again, as I read that it really boosts the resin. I raised the EC of the solution quite a bit, hoping to see how much they can handle, since they are eating a lot and fast, to the point that I had to increase the reservoir capacity to 16 liters. I’ll keep updating, but I see they are taking longer than expected, since if it were 6, I should be further along. I’ll keep waiting to see what happens.
Day 32. The plants are starting to fatten up. For now, they look very full of flowers and buds that keep growing non-stop. I’m starting to think they might be too bushy, so I’m going to need to manage the humidity very well. At the moment, I think there are about 3 or 4 weeks left, which makes me doubt if this is the strain I planted. I’ll probably realize more towards the end, as there’s a small chance that the strains got mixed up, and these are sweet tai. I hope not, since those take between 10 and 11 weeks. I’ll wait until the end of the week, when I should be able to make a better estimate of how much time is left. I’m very interested, as I don’t want to rush the use of overdrive, because I’m not sure if there could be negative effects. For now, I see that even the big leaves are sticky. This is going to be interesting.

MicroHidroGrow I couldn't finish the diary. But I managed to take a couple of photos of the harvest. I hope to have another chance with this strain because I loved it. Although it's very hard to find in my country.
Jamaican dream is an awesome strain. I tried black dream by Eva seeds and wow, it was amazing.
Good Luck and Sweet hugs from us ❤️
