Aug 2: Mimosa Shot is hitting her stride now. She didn’t like the cooler temperatures as much as Sunday Punch EV, for example, but she’s loving this hot start to August. Aug 3: done with force flowering and will now just leave her in the yard. So, back up to 15.5 h of daylight here now. Still using far red light at dusk. Aug 6: Mimosa Shot has stretched again, likely mostly due to 3 days of hot weather.

Girls are growing nicely, this week ran nice and smooth, no issues. My soil is a bit compact now, and water is not penetrating so well, so i tried to te compact the top layer and mess a bit with the textile pot, that improved a lot… Next time will ad some clay pellets, as i always do… They are in the edge of nutes and i will have to be careful next week. The cal mag is been added one a week, 2ml per l in water only day. Ec is around 2.5. The SKR is developing nice flowers really fast, she looks around one week ahead, top leaves are starting to look more sativa some how, she is packed and dense, did just some leaves tucking nothing else. I decided not to defoliate. Is looking like i will outgrow my space, they are developing really nice.

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. 🗓️ Week 6 complete – 2nd week of flowering The second week of bloom is in the books – so far, nothing unusual or problematic. Seriotica continues to grow healthy and evenly alongside the others 🌸 I’m currently feeding at least 50% of the AN schedule, but since they’re clearly taking it well, I’ll increase to 75% next watering. 💧 Watering setup: 6L per plant every 3 days Input EC: 1.3 Drain EC – Seriotica: 0.92 They're taking up nutrients nicely – no signs of deficiencies at this stage. 📏 Height – Seriotica: 60 cm Stretch seems to be settling down gradually – everything looks under control 👍

So the last cups I had them in had no drainage, and i think they were damping off or dying. So I did a pretty rough transplant to new soil and cups I probably stunted them but let’s see what happens. Day 10: So wow a lot can happen in a few days, they grew a bit one of the NL seems like it’s the same size, 2nd NL is not doing too bad. The lemon Larry is going through it right now, might’ve been heat stress I can’t think of anything else that can cause that

Day 21

Day 44 - It the first couple days of week 7 and she seems to be doing well so far. She’s budding up nicely and still can’t really tell what she’s smelling like due to having 2 other plants in there flowering so hard to tell which is which. Day 45 - Nothing major to update today, thought she’d be ready for water and nutes but soil is still a bit wet so gonna hold off another day or two. Day 46 - Looking like she’s finally stopped her major stretching period so looking forward to her starting to put on some weight. Giving her one more day then will give her a feeding of nutes. Day 47 - All is good and gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. She’s already really starting to beef up quite a bit. Day 48 - Another day and no major update with her. She, like the others, are pretty much taking are of herself. She did fatten up quite a bit after a feeding yesterday and still trying to figure out her smell. Day 49 - The end of another week and she’s starting to fill in and out in some good weight. Other than that, she’s good on water for a bit and just waiting on her to tell me what she needs/wants.

Bulking quite well, she has a very strong haze smell as already mentioned she is handling everything like a champ, could not wished for a better plant :) From now on I will only give her PH 6.3 water without any additives. I believe its about 2 weeks until chop chop :)

The CBD started blooming at the end of last week. She's pretty small compared to the Gorilla Cookies, but she's still got a long way to go before harvest. The LST did the trick and I managed to create a nice even canopy. More pics and video's coming up later this week.

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia. We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudice against this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is from an autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it from the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering plants. She is the Black Orchid I have never grown her but I have seen some truly phenomenal photos of this plant. I really hope they come out black. I love it. ---- New Home - The ladies have almost all been transplanted into 11-liter pots, which is my favorite size to get the best ratio of plants in the grow box / yield. Especially if you don't have to do excessive topping or you have to grow the plants straight with main cola like I do for catalog needs like I do, 11 liters guarantees you to make excellent plants.
