- End of week 5 I topped them and they seem to react very well to it. Looking nice healthy and green , exept for the blue zushi on the right. It's growing really weird, but it seems to keep up with the other plants. I don't know if i will put it into flower. The 2 blueberry cupcake ( back row) on the right, are bigger then the rest. I bend one of them so it will be more even . Most of the plants have a different structure. They are f1 seeds , So there's a good chance you'll have different phenotypes Now i will train them a litte untill they are big enough, and then place a trellis net.

The buds are still growing and I have already discovered the first amber-coloured trichomes on Bruce Banner and S.A.D. #4. I think the harvest will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Until then, I will continue to observe the trichomes with the microscope.

Welcome to my 1st DWC diary. Drop a like if you'd like me to visit your diary. Either way thanks for dropping by. 🍻 Super lemon Haze, was actually meant to be Super Lemon Haze Auto. The seed bank sent me these instead by mistake. Was asked to send them them back but decided to go ahead and keep these. I'm going to run these on a full Terra Power line up. I'm a bit concerned about root rot and bad bactria and all but I have nutrients to counteract this and break down dying roots. I feel obligated to run a full DWC enzyme grow as I have all these great nutes and 2 Sep buckets. So I'm gonna run this as a enzyme living grow and the other is a toss up for enzymes. This plant is 80-100cm so I think mainlining this 1 will be the way to go, or not, I'll be mainlining the soil/coco SLH so maybe I'll leave this 1 to be a massive bush not lollipop needing to be done I reckon. Looking forward to getting this going. Gonna read through all my nutrients and pick the best enzymes and make sure I do it right. Will be starting her on a light diet as soon as she shows some leafs. Very small amount like 3-500ppm. 1/5/22 VD1 she has popped and was started on a light mix. I just added some distilled water to my mix for my soil terra power grows and added 1/3 extra water. No need to PH it. By adding mystical green it stabilizes PH and when water gets taken up it should still hold your set PH from start to beginning. This is something every1 needs to get that uses DWC or get something similar that helps keep PH in set level in 15L or a wk later in 5L. The PH should still be the same. In other nutrients this isn't the case. When the water is taken with the nutrients the stabilizer is left behind to keep the PH stable but this all depends on you keeping your water level and nutrient level up as it goes down while your plants eat. That's why ppl get massive PH/EC swings when your The 3 Nutrients above were just for seedlings. They were left in the rockwool as they would have been left in the soil. They aren't been used since she showed face today. 2/5/22 5x bigger than yday. Looking small on top, she's growing a little to fast by the looks of it. (Not enough energy on the surface to support root growth) she only came out of the shell yday was about .3cm out of the rockwool. Bout 1.5cm now. 4/5/22 Decided to put her on the root stim La Calavera. Aka Voodoo juice. I found a chart saying I should be giving it. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should cave in lightly Same Day: Okay, so this my last update. Going to run fans the same right up until flower and then I'll be sealing up my tent and adding 2 co2 bags. And will be adding a dehuimifier and setting at 45% it checks every 30mins and if it's gone up it'll turn back on and bring down to 45 or set RH, so no co2 will escape. The temp will be bordering 30-33c and then when they go into their rest window they'll be transferred to to a negative pressure environment with low temps and 45-50%RH. I'll only be able to do this for the 3 weeks of pre flower. And maybe some more, it depends how hard the dehuimifier will be working, but i want dense buds and only way to improve that is by introducing Co2 and then a negative pressure cold environment for terps. Then I'll be putting them back into full negative pressure environment and the Co2 will be useless, again all depends how it's gonna affect my bottom line. That and I only have 2 intake fans. I'll be going into detail about my Co2 adventures the week before I'll be prepping them to be able to withstand high temps, so I'll gradually bring up the temps the last wk of veg 28c max and that way when I push it to 30-32c in pre flower she won't stress as much, I'll have to add frozen water bottle or set up a copper chiller pump to run into my DWC tanks, as it's only for 3 wks I think I'll stick to the frozen water bottles, if I can't maintain 78f 20c in my buckets I'll build my own chiller that'll run copper pipping into cold water and then into my tanks and recirculate it. Little bit early on this week but as I’m travelling to Amsterdam today I’d like to get it updated today. Heatwave has finally gone, temps dialled in perfectly now. Hopefully with the temps dropped they will start to go purple for that bag appeal! Added another inside the flower tent and starting a separate diary on it. * *********** Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * These girls have been continuing their growth this week and looking better all the time. GSC2 still slow though and will not have much yield. Her leaves have turned very dark this week due to lockouts I suspect. Her hairs are still very white and coming out pointy looking for pollen and swelling. GSC is still swelling and her buds are bigger at the end of the week. Purple colours also coming out in her. The big girl has done well being squished in the corner as I had to put the two in one tent this week. The frost in GSC has been coming out for the last two weeks and is really getting sticky this week. The pH is still crazy high for the girls but they are pushing through this issue and finishing up. These are very resilient plants and I am impressed with her vigour!! Still giving them feedings in the 3.0 pH range to help as her runoff is still coming in at mid 7’s......for both girls. GSC has been feed hard because her leaves have a nice pale colour, unlike GSC2, so keep her going and swelling. They were given a heavy watering of 8L each on day 71 to find out where the medium is. They were 7.9pH when started and last runoff was roughly 7.1pH......should have gone further to bring down more but stopped there so I didn’t flush out all of the feed since they have a couple fo weeks left. The hairs on GSC are turning more of a tan colour rather than snow white. I suspect she they have roughly this week plus another yet before thinking about harvest.......I see them going to 84 days roughly, 12 weeks. GSC bud sites are getting pointy this week. Added bamboo steaks to GSC to tie the long branches to and support her weight. GSC2 less so and are still looking more round as she continues to fill in her buds. GSC stems have been turning purple more and more this week. Suspect it is a combination of pH and stresses with temps. GSC2 was tied more this week as well to let more light in closer to the main stem. This paid off as well as she is stacking the lower points more. She, GSC2, has also paid a bit of a price over the last week because she was kept in the flower tent with other more mature girls. The environment in that tent was striving for 76 degrees and 51% humidity but GSC2 wants 82 degrees and 65% humidity........didn’t have much choice😢 Fast Buds has rocked this strain and dialled her in after the generations of breeding!! She is very frosty for an auto and had she been given the correct watering, she would be considered an easy grow In my opinion! The two girls are growing very different but that is grower related to transplant and not genetics. Awesome job Fast Buds......the girls are keeping me smiling......and scratching my head at the same time👍👍👍👍 Little more detail....... June 20/20 - Day 71 - 6L low ph flush of plain water @ 4.0 to bring down pH..........3L each girl. - Followed with a low pH feeding of 4L watering with Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag, B52 @ 2ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Voodoo @ 0.5ml/L, = 1170ppm and pH 4.4 - GSC1 tops are getting lots of purple in the bud. - GSC1 is filling in nicely and top leaves are starting to fade yellow. - GSC2 is dark😞 June 21/20 - Day 72 - continuing flush with 12L of plain water pH to 3.3 to bring down pH. - 6L given to each girl. - added bamboo stakes to pull GSC1 apart and open up the middle bud sites to more light. - GSC1 is 38" tall and 36" across now😀👍 - GSC2 is 20" tall and 24" wide👍 June 22/20 - Day 73 - 2L each watering with Rezin @ 1ml - hairs are turning more red and more white to tan now. - GSC1 is closer.....getting to home stretch soon. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 5L - Massive @ 3ml/L, Rezin & L.Weight & B52 @ 2ml/L, Vitathrive & Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L = 1110ppm - GSC 3L, GSC2 - 2L - they are getting close to the end so getting the last bits of everything into them😀 - noticing GSC1 top cola may start to bleach out a bit. - GSC2 feels like she has stalled. June 24/20 - Day 75 - watering 3L each with Massive & Terpinator @ 3ml/L, Rezin & Vita & L.Wt @ 2ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L, CalMag @ 1ml/L = 1385ppm and pH to 3.9...crazy! - moved the two girls together today as the other two are going into darkness now, they are done. June 25/20 - Day 76 - Dry out day - GSC is doing well with her buds filling in now and firming up. Top leaves are drying more. - GSC2 is dark.....F......plain water and not much more we can do. June 26/20 - Day 77 - 7L watering with Rezin and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 75ppm and pH at 4.0 - 4L given to GSC and 3L given to GSC2. - Staying with RO water now.......tap water appears to have been an issue. - too bad the ph was such an issue.....GSC would be a monster😞 - run off numbers in pots: GSC 7.6pH and 780ppm GSC2 7.6pH and 1850ppm (she has stalled) Awesome strain Fast Buds.......will be running her again!!!!!!

Week 10 January - 16 January 10/1 - Last feed

Hey now, was a pretty good week for the Sour D, I didn't really make any changes as far as the nutes, still at EC of 1.6, with water from my dehumidifier, then cal mag, then maxi bloom powder, then liquid kool bloom. Only real issue I had this week was on day 58 I noticed her leaning a little bit, and I went to move her pot, and she almost toppled over. It really scared the crap out of me, so that is why you now see all the wire tires wrapped around her base. Definitely something I will be more mindful of in the future. Still dealing with high temps and humidity, but my dehumidifier has been a real Beast. I will also add that when I open that tent, the smell of Diesel Fuel, and Lemons smack me in the face like a 2x4. I have never smelled anything that pungent before. I am amazed at how well my Terra bloom carbon filter is doing, although I am sure it helps I have an 8x24" inch filter and Infinity T8 exhaust running on the lowest possible setting in my tiny little tent.
