Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place. In fact, just 3/4 have beene repotting because I didn't have enough Lightmix :/ My order is late, and I'm not really happy with that 😡 I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on how they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. The last Chocolate Haze (the one that was 5 days late), doesn't have 6 nodes yet and I would prefer to top each girls at the same time. D-26 : Repotting the last one and topping everybody. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days... I also feed the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 19cm to 12cm.

2018-04-10 Day 1 I gave the girls water and nutrients yesterday so nothing to drink today. Turned them 90 degrees today, to give my girls as much lightexposure as possible. The flowers get bigger and bigger for each day, Overall the ladies look really good, the colors are very nice, they look healthy. Somehow the photos of nr1 got lost, very strange, but great pics of nr2. Also added videos of them both. All right so today is day 13 starting the week 2 a day early because of my other diaries as I explained last week... As you can tell this girl is thriving and growing faster than I expected to be honest.. I ordered some pro mix yesterday should be here tomorrow where I will be transplanting her into a 1 gallon pot where she will remain for a couple weeks and then I will transfer her into the 4 gallon and put her in the tent where the strawberry cough is and get her flipping to flower .. training is going to be minimal I might just let her go naturally like I did the cream and cheese because that was a 3-month grow and the very successful one.. I'm thinking I might top once or twice I just don't know yet we'll see when the time comes.. right now I'm waiting on my autos to finish up to clear up some room so up giving her enough room won't be such an issue.. everything is looking good though big shout out Zamnesia Seeds these are really good people and as you can see their genetics are awesome as well.. definitely check them out right now they have a Black Friday sale you guys do not want to miss it is really good.. hope everyone is doing well God bless and happy growing ✌️😎 day 14 : today she was transplanted into a 1 gallon pot using pro mix and she got her first feeding of synthetics being the Maxi boom... Deze week werd verstoord door een stroomstoring van een dag (oorzaak gelukkig niet in de kweek apparatuur!) Er zijn inmiddels veel meer lieveheersbeestjes, erg leuk om ze te zien hoe ze hun eigen gang gaan. E.c. zit inmiddels op 1,3/1,5 Dit lijkt misschien wat hoog, maar de stekken kunnen best wat hebben. De dames groeien zo hard dat ik nog een keertje blad heb moeten wegknippen om de boel niet t laten verstikken bij de Powerplants.De Runtz begint al topvorming te laten zien. Ook een irrigatiesysteem aangelegd. Dit is later handig als het bader dek te dicht is en je niet meeer overal bij kan komen. Regeren is vooruitzien ! UPDATE!!! Vraag aan de gemeenschap die ervaring heeft met cree cobs: Ik heb begrepen dan de cobs een kleine 20 cm door het blad dek kunnen penetreren als je goed hebt ontbladerd. Aangezien mijn scrog maar max 40 cm hoog word, heeft het dan zin om de boel in week drie te dieven? Het licht bestraalt immers de hele plant? Antwoorden graag in de comments!

Adaptándose al cambio de ambiente

She's getting huuuuuuuge!! Added an humidifier to keep a constant humidity level of 55% in the grow room. The temperature just outside the grow room is 10C, and even more outside is 0C!! It's a miracle I can keep a temperature over 20C inside the room ;) UPDATE: TOPPED!! In the last two days she has grown like a beast (after the ADV NUT intake), so I had to top her before the next week. HYPE HYPE HYPE! The leaves are now almost bigger than my iPad lol.

Feliz por como van mis gorilas, todos los días hay cambios y cada semana tengo que aumentar el riego, esta semana utilice en total 18 litros, 4.5 litros para cada planta aproximadamente. En los primeros 6 litros uso: ▪️︎4ml de Connoisseur A y B por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Rhino por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Bud Candy por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Carboload por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de B-52 por litro de agua. Espero 30 minutos y despues aplico otros 6 litros con los siguientes nutrientes: ▪️︎4ml de Connoisseur A y B por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Nirvana por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Big Bud por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Overdrive por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Voodo Juice por litro de agua. No tengo medidor de EC, por lo tanto trato de que las mediciones en ml sean exactos con una jeringa. ☆ 1 día a la semana riego las plantas con 6 litros de agua sin nutrientes y con un PH en 6.0, hasta el momento no han presentado carencias pero tengo la duda si tienen exceso de nitrógeno por el color verde intenso de las hojas.

Guter strain und der Geschmack ist auch ganz gut aber es gibt deutlich besseres

Week 8 of flower and ladies are really becoming more dense and frosting all little more. Thanks to the growmies and the experienced gardeners here I’ve decided to patiently wait to harvest until at least 65 days of flower to get the maximum potential from theses two strains. Much love and appreciation to this helpful growing community and look forward finishing up this run Day 57- final week until harvest letting pots dry out and waiting for those beautiful fall color. Day 60- pots drying quick, max of 5 days left until harvest trichomes increasing as the day go on So far this run has been pretty easy I can say I’ve learned so much and gained a lot of experience. My biggest take away would be examine and care for plant each and every day if possible things can change daily and to insure health you have to give them all the attention they need.

pH was important as expected and a bit of light burn later on in the grow but ultimately it was pretty smooth sailing. I used a very common nutrient (GHE) and not overly strong. Buds were thick, dense, and moderately pine smelling. The plant did not grow excessively tall thanks to LST, and the LST did not seem to have any ill effects at all. Foliage was thick, and I let it go for a very long time before doing any sort of defoliation. Even then it was modest and just to get light to the lower colas. Still in trimming mode and will continue to update :) Also, other plants in the house got spider mites. Not this one. Could have been that it was in hydro and others weren't but hard to say.

Eine Genetik die mir echt Spaß bereitet hat groß zu ziehen. Extrem schöne Headbuds und extrem Starkes Trichomenbild. Die Trichome überzeugen nicht nur in der menge sogar noch in der größe, so riesige teilweise dazwischen was mir einfach ein lächeln auf den Mund zaubern. Der geruch als auch der geschmack ähneln sich sehr. Eine Blumige Tropische Note mit einem leichten Herben Kiefer Hintergrund. Cinderella Jack zu rauchen knallt stark und hält lange an. Die Sativa richtung kommt eher raus mit einem schönen Kopf high und einem angenehm entspannten Körper.

Has been a rough week dealing with the heat and rain. Having to run the dehumidifier 24 hours a day and I am seeing some foxtailing in most of the strains from the hot air it puts out. Twisted helix was chopped last week. She's not even worth taking pictures of. Tiny buds about the size of my thumb. Not much smell and they are not impressive. I will be making bubble hash and edibles from it. I pulled the blackcherry punch off the feed tube and a few days ago and she is flushing. I filled the reservoir with nutrients for the last time today. After they drink it down in a few day I will start flushing all the plants. Going to be a big job trimming this round since it looks like most of them will be ready for harvest around the same time. There are buds falling over everywhere due to the weight, but it's impossible to get in and tie them up without rubbing all over the buds and damaging a lot of trichomes. So not much can be done about it at this point. Just going to try to keep the temp and humidity down until they are ready for the chop.
