Hey Friends, end of week 8 from seed :) Many new things have occurred this week Plant 1 is beginning to mature, its not growing in height as much as before but now its getting thicker and looking stronger. I am slowing increasing the amount of nutrition, I don't want to burn them at this stage. I noticed some of the leaf stems were turning red, so I decreased the light and its turning back to green. Did some defoliation this week to give more room to the smaller leaves. Plant was getting taller and was too close to the grow Light so I installed some netting inside the tent and it helped control the height for now, if it gets taller ill purchase a bigger grow tent 😩 Looking forward in seeing some bud formation in week 9, will keep you guys posted. Hello Everyone, I didn't felt like updating last week, sorry for that. It was like 25 to 30 degrees celcius for the last time this summer. I enjoyed the beach, bars and restaurants. The plants had a good sunny week as well. Photos for this week are made at the end of week 5 of flowering. 3 of 6 plants are ready for harvest. Somehow it didn't suprised me, the plants stayed small and developed fast. I was thinking about a flowering time of 7 to 8 weeks but those 3 only needed 5. Why? Well they didn't drink that fast anymore, pots stayed heavy for a long time, all the Pistils on the buds started to get brown and the thc was looking milky and the buds are full with it. Gues i will keep flowering the other 3 for 1 or 2 weeks. Lets see how it goes. I did run out of PK 13-14 last week and Green sensation at the end of this week, So a kind of good timing. I will just increase the base nutrients a little bit to compensate it. I know many growers just growing with base nutes and get good harvests as well lol. As long as the 3 remaining plants like to drink their feedings fast and the Pistils stay white, I will keep giving them nutes for another 1-2 weeks. When they start to struggle I will start flushing. 420 Fastbuds Week 9 Blackberry Auto Week 9 update on these beautiful girls. They are super close to being done. Most likely getting the chop this coming week. They smell like a candy store being so sweet. I really can't wait to see how they'll finish up. All in all Happy Growing

They are gaming weight on buds nicely as well. Aroma OMG I am sensing ripe sweet fruits, a bit woody and gasy. Runoff approx. 50-100ml. 04/10 Day 73 Everything going great. More amber trichomes, almost all pistils hairs are brown. These girls are almost ready. The Day it's just around the corner. 05/10 Day 74 Last watering, in the morning approx. 1.5l per pot. At midnight lights out for good. 06/10 Day 75 Uploaded 2 clips from last night. Trichomes are on point. Some buds 50-70% amber and they did gained some weight overnight. Just one more night of darkness and will harvest! 😎 07/10 Day 76 It's done!!! Harvested and trimmed. Hello!! Too bad I only found this site now and didn't take too many photos during the first month. About the plant, it was the smallest of my plants at first, but then it grew very weel and now is the biggest of my girls. She entered in flowering a week later than expected, but beacuse of that she could grow more than the others. I've done only some LST and the plant just loved it, now i have like 11-12 main stems. Today I also have done some lollipopping but very cautiously because it was my first time doing it, and I didn't want to mess up.

Week 5 Day 7 Flowering Stage.. All plants getting big but got into some stress because one of my AC went off so temperature was a bit high and humidity was also high. But looking nice😊🔥

11/17 started flushing. Giving a half gallon of plain well water daily. Ph is typically around 7.3 to 7.6 My absolute favorite plant. The beautiful purple is so exciting. The plant grew very fast and very large, i would suggest leaving ample room for this plant. All the buds are large. Just a joy to grow.

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 71 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Fellow growers, week 5 of flowering brings fascinating updates. The buds are forming nicely and becoming denser daily. Unfortunately, the plants shot up in height more than expected and I couldn't raise the light further. Our growing space is filling with a delightful, intensifying aroma. Despite the height challenge, I remain hopeful for a successful end. Excited for the week ahead! Happy growing!

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Over all + Speed Auto is doing well. Seemed a bit slow taking off but she is progressing nicely. Had (1) seedling that completely stalled out. I went ahead and germinated another bean which was placed in soil (germinated tap root about 2 inches long) 5/18. Day 7: + Speed Auto showing second leaves coming in. Still slightly yellow, might be hungry or slightly over-watered. Will feed nutes in the next few days and see. Temp: 75º RH 75% PPFD: 300 VPD: .41 kPa Day 8: Just misting no water or nutes yet. Temp: 73º RH 62% PPFD: 500 VPD: .67 kPa Day 13/Day 2: New leaf growth. + Speed seedling coming along. Temp: 75º RH 60% PPFD: 500 VPD: .62 kPa Day 14/Day 3: New leaf growth. no room to plant this one in a pot so just put her where I can until the big ones go outdoors. Thinking I may just put her outdoors and then take some clones from her for indoors next month.
