GENERAL COMMENT. WEEK 5 OF FLOWER. Ok guys, this week ran ok for one girl and less for her sister, so i will go on details individually. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTOMATIC COMMENT. As I has commenting since the beginning I think this could be a nice strain to grow with minimal water and nutes, keep that in mind when growing this strain, i learned the hard way. What happened with this girl is that salt builded up in the medium and de stabilised mainly the PH, creating a super acidic medium, thats my bad, i failed to id earlier. So back to spotting, and a bit of yellowing showing, so some deficiencies, i honestly don’t know how this is going to end. I flushed her 4 days a go with PH water to 6.5, that raised the medium runoff from 5.0 to 5.4-5.6, and flushed again with tap water, is alkaline at 8.1+, runoff is still 5.6, so that raised more concern with that input range getting so acidic runoff is bad, and in the end of flush received a dose of voodoo juice, big bloom, calmag and top candy, that are all organic at regular ph, EC at 1.8. I know the PH fluctuation can worse the scenario. I’m been apocalyptic is just that i’m feeling a bit turn down now, i was expecting this girl to run flawlessly, heads up will try my best to correct issues, just wished she was like her sister…

Went on a ski trip didn’t get to upload last week. Flipped Pineapple Express Pheno 3 today so it got 77 days of veg compared to all the others that got 60 days of veg.

Full recovery from the accidental excess calcium. Cheese still has purple stems from lockout. However, the buds are filling up nicely. Gorilla Cookies has long skinny colas. The 4 Assed Monkey had to have the branches tied together. The branches are too weak for the weight of the buds!

This is the week they start to look like plants, excited to see whats to come going forward. Added a small dose of silica (before yucca!) and bumped up the ph to 6. !!! switched out old outdated mars hydro lights for a Optic 650s Slim with variable spectrum control!!! Day 102 since seed touched soil. Again troubles .... Came to check them and found tent dark. Normally theirs day was in the night, now one day we again had no electricity and everything moved 8 hours, so day is day now .... Humidity spikes as hell. I dont want to make wounds, so no defoliation ... just too big of a risk to damage or bring infection in .... Ground level 99% rh, canopy level - 85, lights level - 80 .... never grew in such hight, i did in 65-70 without problems, but this goes overboard ... Drinking slowed down, will reduce volume by 20% next watering. One more feed left. Keeping sticky pads as prevention and it helped to catch 50 or so bugs and maybe prevent infestation. Gnats mostly ... This this girl is most behind, she is heavily overcrowded , would need defoliation , will be many airy lime green buds, but ill still smoke them ;))) 10 days till chop !!! The 3th week of 12/12 is history and flowering has entered the grow room. 😋 I marked day 53 (day 17 of 12/12) as the first day of actual flowering. Everyday I've checked if there were fungus gnats trapped on the yellow sticky traps and I've spotted a few. So not a total infestation. I've also checked for signs of hermies and I haven't seen any. I've had one a few years ago and it pretty much ruined the whole grow. Seeds everywhere. But that was another breeder and strain. Under the screen I did some final pruning and above a minor defoilation. The Runtz are stretching nicely and the screen is filled pretty much like I wanted it to. Gonna leave them alone now, done with bending those shoots under the screen. This weeks temperatures stayed between 20,6°C (69°F) and 24,2 °C (75,5°F) and humidity levels between 44 – 56 % Light pressure was raised from 244 watt at 70cm (27 inch) to 260 watt at 63cm (25 inch). Their diet consisted of ph adjusted tapwater (ph 6,38 – ec 0,49) most of the week. They were barely fed for 1 day. Gonna keep it that way as long as I don't see any signals of shortages or surpluses. Naturally, ec leves will rise next week but one day of feeding seems enough for now. Smell is coming in slightly, but the CAN-lite carbon filter is doing it's job. There's a 600m³ one hanging in the grow room connected to a 550m³ Airfan foam softbox that's dimmed at 40% since the start of this grow. That was the most important info for this week. I have had a very nice journey growing her, she has given a great quality and quantity pf buds, very hard dense flowrs with a clasic strong amnesia smell that I enjoy a lot specially for the happy energetic buzz that provides you.

Estamos en la última semana para dos de las cuatro variedades, así que a partir de este momento, eliminamos Bio Flores. Añadiremos al bidón de riego Canna Flush, que nos va a ayudar a lavar bien nuestras raíces, eliminando restos de sales y nutrientes. Buscamos que las plantas gasten sus reservas de las hojas, que poco a poco veremos como pierden verdor, eliminando clorofila, sobre todo las más bajas. Canna Flush - 20ml por cada 10 litros de agua. Bajamos la potencia de nuestros balastros a 600w.

Got a breeding project underway to make a few crosses with my master kush male. Its very nice branch structre, stocky stature, and tight internodal spacing will definitely attribute to some sexy figured ladies. Plus it has an enormously skunky stem rub, and his foliage Danks pretty good as well. I will be creating Fireman's Fruit, Mk-6ix, and Oozaru Kush. Than I will make new diaries phenohunting my new crosses. Also will working out the new genetic lines. So I will make diaries for every new generation of offspring. This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!
