At Breadandbuds we have never underestimated F1s and here we have a great example of why: Do Si Dos F1 Hybrid Automatic. We have two plants that you can find compared at the end of the photo gallery of this diary, one left to grow straight that will be harvested tonight and you can find described in this diary and the other worked with a mainiling that made it bonsai style that will be harvested in about 10 days. Day 60 Not happy with the buds. They are to small in my opinion and I don’t know how to improve on that problem. I have decided to flush with water and measure the runoff ppm because I think I was overfeeding Day 64 Don’t know why the leaves turn yellow, gave them a bit more nitrogen & cal-mag color was a bit better yesterday but today they start turning yellow again

August 5th. 52 days post flip. Clones: All 3 plants are Growing well with number 2 doing exceptionally well Had some bottom leaves falling off and obviously top buds above light not doing great on all 3 so we just installed an ion beam s16 from AC infinity as supplemental lighting for those top colas and one at the center for deeper penetration. I think the added 60 watts of high quality Samsung horticultural LEDs will help this plant. Going to be top dressing them here soon to keep them happy and healthy. As far as bud structure goes number two is my favorite. Tightest density and I think it will finish well. Number 3 is super interesting. Going to grow a giant upside tear drop shape bud by the looks of it. And last but not least number 4 the weirdo is beyond words. Parents: Growing well. God bless

I did LST regular. The week was cold and wet. Tangie didn‘t mind and continue building a lot of preflowers. ☺️

Day 73, took another batch if clones three days after taking the 2nd batch so now I have 80 clones that will root in 11 to 14 days. The sun is hot again back to +30C° day temps, I was to lazy to take individual photos of my mother plants. I'll give the plants 10 days to recover from the stress from taking cuttings. Day 75, last day in the tent for my mother plants, tonight there going inside boxes for 3 day of darkness so that the plants forget the 18 hrs veg lighting to follow the sun. 2nd batch of clones to veg for a week before going outside to flower. Mothers in boxes they will come out on the 24th September

March 08 I left the air purifier on by accident again last night so there was a blue light overnight. The buds look good though. I taped the window up so I'm no longer having a humidity issue at night. I alternate between having the light on at 100% and 75% and recently 50% as well. March 10 I just fed them Ph'd water with molasses. Runoff pH 6.2-6.5, ppm 200-600. I'm having trouble getting good shots of the trichromes but I'm starting to see more amber ones. Less than 5%.

That's a wrap. Long time in veg due to cold wet soil, but turned around for some decent buds. The White Gold plants could have gone for another week or longer, Papaya Bang Bang was getting past its peak so decided to take them all down today. Be back in a couple of weeks for weights after drying and trimming .

Week 5 update: Mike Tyson auto is in recovery mode this week. After last week’s overfeeding, I flushed the medium with plenty of plain water to wash out excess salts. The plant is still showing some damage on older leaves, but the new growth looks healthier, so I think it’s bouncing back. Nutrients used (lighter feeding): • Terra Aquatica Grow A + Grow B – restarted at ~25–30% lower strength than before • CalMag – 0.5–1 ml/L • Silic Rock – 0.5 ml/L • Great White + Trikologic (for root health) • Skipped PowerZyme this week to reduce stress Feeding details: • PPM kept low (~400–500 ppm) to avoid further stress • Watering small amounts, more frequently, instead of heavy soaks Training: • No extra LST this week, letting the plant recover fully Plan for next week: • If the plant keeps showing healthy new growth, I’ll slowly increase nutrients (step by step). • Hoping it can still catch up and start flowering strong in the next stage.

Only 3/4 sprouted so I’m going with that. I don’t have any extra seeds. I am very happy tho because my last grow 4 was a lot in my setup. I want to see how much I can train 3 plants and how much bigger I can get them. I also have to order seeds this run and get more soil. Very excited

Week 6 and another feeding bumping up the PPM to 1250 ph. 5.8 3 of the 5 are about where I expected them, Think Different is really dense not a lot of stretch on that one. Baby Blue Dream is in ICU for the most part. I laid off the food and water until it dry's out a bit more. Takeaways this week... This is my 1st attempt at autos and 5 different strains at that. A lot of opportunities for learning here. watering feeding transplanting all play into my current results. The Green Buzz nutrients are amazing the sample kit I got is just enough for the 6 autos. I should finish all of them by the end of the grow the size of the bottles were just the perfect amounts for each phase VEG, TRANS & FLOWER with regular watering's as needed in-between feedings. looking forward to some more stretch and filling in the Scrog. I just gave it a 2 gallon flush of PH 6.p water in each pot the remainder in the pan was wicked up the next day hoping for more roots to spread. Well, they got their first topping midway through last week. Waited a few days then gave them a bit more stress with a container change. Probably should have waited a few more days before moving them but they seem to have bounced back well. Started the transition to flowering and will go ahead and give them a quick defoliation and trim again starting next week. That will be the end of clipping and such.

Started off week 2 of flowering on 11/19. All of the ladies look good with the Tangerine Dream being the only set of clones to start showing bud sights and not just pre-flowering. Did a significant amount of clipping and clipped most of the fan leaves on the main colas of my ladies and side branches too. I also began playing classical music for them! True to it’s genetics my Tangerine Dreams are putting off numerous side branches with side branches coming off those branches! Since flowering my Cotton Candy has grown the most. Before flowering it was just barely half the height of my TDs and now they’re taller! As for the Chronic Thunder it’s always been the tallest but in flowering it’s focus has all been on the side branches without me even topping it.
