It has been a week of amazing growth for the Xtrakush too. What an amazing plant this is. Resilient, enormous growth, it was only last week that we took out her brother. It turned out to be male, which is why we planted two in one pot. Already she has taken up its space almost entirely. And the bud growth is also something I haven't seen before. This can really turn out to be enormous buds if the buds grow out like advertised. All in all a great week with lots of activity on my part to facilitate these results. We are three weeks into flowering, the deadline I set myself from where I'm allowed defoliating the underside. To prevent stress, but also to maximize growth I hadn't touched them all grow. Also, I made the flowering amendments, it didn't seem they needed anything so I waited a couple of weeks. I made a mix of 2 cups worm castings, 2 cups bonemeal, 1 cup of micro life (per plant) and mixed this. I dropped this on the soil around the stem. In just a day another amazing stretch happened. The combined defoliation and added nutes gave a boost they seemed to love. I watered with a heavy mix of BAC organic flowering, Topmax and Calmag, and a one in 6 mix of my trusty permaculture tea. Couple days left of week 3, and buds are starting to swell, and trichs are forming. I've removed most of the lower branches at this point (which probably should have been done earlier), I'll hopefully do the last of the defoliation this week too. I'm going to bump up the nutes a little for a while before flushing for at least 2 weeks when they are starting to look ready! Smell inside the tent is getting stronger, made me sneeze a couple times when I peeked in there the other day 😅 Have a happy new year!

🌿 Woche 6 – The Hobbit Hole Outdoor Grow 2026 Eine weitere Woche ist geschafft und das Hobbit Hole entwickelt sich genau in die Richtung, die ich mir erhofft hatte. Nach meiner Rückkehr aus dem Urlaub konnte ich endlich wieder selbst nach den Pflanzen sehen – und ich wurde definitiv nicht enttäuscht. Am Mittwoch gab es die erste Düngergabe mit Hesi Blüh Complex, da inzwischen alle drei Pflanzen sichtbar in der Blüte angekommen sind. Die ersten Blütenstände werden von Tag zu Tag größer und überall schieben sich frische weiße Blütenfäden aus den Buds. Heute habe ich außerdem Rankhilfen angebracht. Gerade Outdoor weiß man nie, wann der nächste kräftige Wind oder ein Sommergewitter kommt. Bevor später das Gewicht der Blüten zum Problem wird, bekommen alle drei Pflanzen lieber frühzeitig etwas Unterstützung. Aktueller Größenvergleich 🌿 Gelato: 120 cm 🌿 Cinderella: 90 cm 🌿 Purple Punch: 80 cm Besonders spannend finde ich, wie unterschiedlich sich die drei Genetiken entwickeln. Die Gelato macht ihrem Namen aktuell alle Ehre und wächst mit großem Abstand am stärksten in die Höhe. Cinderella und Purple Punch bleiben deutlich kompakter, setzen dafür aber ebenfalls fleißig Blüten an. Erfreulich ist außerdem, dass die drei übrigen Pflanzen bisher nahezu unbeschadet durch die Saison gekommen sind. Bis auf das halbe Blatt, das die Cinderella zu Beginn an eine Schnecke verloren hat, gab es bislang keine nennenswerten Schäden. Der Schneckenschutz scheint also genau das zu tun, was er soll. 🐌👍 Auch die Blätter machen weiterhin einen gesunden Eindruck. Besonders die großen Fächerblätter zeigen inzwischen beeindruckende Ausmaße und liefern den Pflanzen jede Menge Energie für die kommenden Wochen. Jetzt beginnt langsam die Phase, auf die ich mich jedes Jahr am meisten freue. Aus kleinen Blütenansätzen werden nach und nach richtige Buds, und jede Woche wird sichtbarer sein als die davor. Genau deshalb liebe ich Outdoor-Grows – die Natur gibt das Tempo vor und man kann Woche für Woche beobachten, wie aus ein paar kleinen Pflanzen langsam echte Damen werden. As I did the flushing in day 68 I was watching the trichomes and on day 87 I could see 25-35% amber so I decided to cut it. I cut the whole plant on the base and hang them all to dry. For this reason I will update my findings later when it gets dry and trimmed. So far really happy with the results. It won’t yield much but the quality is impressive

We're beyond excited to try out this new MarsHydro LED for our latest grow, the SP-3000 is INCREDIBLY bright!! ..I have never seen a light more appropriate for a 4x2 tent in my life, we (happily) replaced 3 "600 watt" blurple LEDs with this single rig ( something we've wanted for a very long time). There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... Grow Diary Update: Northern Light Sisters - Week 11 The autoflower girls are hitting a spectacular stride here in week 11 as they push hard into their flowering phase. For the height check on our shorter, low-profile lady Makayla, the tape measure shows she is holding steady right around 15 and a half inches. She is focusing her energy on filling out dense side branching rather than stretching skyward. Meanwhile, our taller, Christmas tree-shaped sister Charlotte is stretching up higher, measuring right around 17.5 to 18 inches, positioned right next to her companion strawberry trap crop. The bud development across both plants is coming along beautifully. A close look at the stacking structure shows white pistils reaching out as the flowers begin to swell and pack on mass. The frosty trichome production is starting to look prominent across the sugar leaves, which is even clearer in the macro shots. Looking at the full profile of the main plant layout, you can see how neatly she sits in her fabric pot with the custom automated irrigation manifold loop keeping the organic root zone perfectly damp. The African marigolds are doing their job right at the base. The stacking on the upper half of the main cola is looking incredibly dense, showing magnificent node spacing. Finally, looking at the crown of the main bloom, the resin production is accelerating rapidly, giving the calyxes a beautiful, sticky appearance as we head deeper into peak bloom.

Hello everyone, The 2 peyote cookies are doing okay i started giving them the full dose of pk13/14. Next week i will start flushing them. Temperature and humidity is very high last weekend i removed a record of 61 liter water from 2 dehumidifiers and 1 airco in 24 hours that just way too much. The plants are starting to recover from the N excess 2 weeks ago, this delayed a bit the starting of flower from some plants but im sure that the rest of flowering will be ok, i gave only water this week and applied a small amount of guanokalong nutrients as these are slowly absorbed to ensure the plant continues to receive some nutrients until next 2 weeks when we will start to give some extra PK

While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Hi Friends, - Day 10 - 1st water change - One leaf looked a little crisp so we removed it and reduced the light from 24hr to 18/6 - Started to increase the nutrients and introduced florilicious - Healthy root structure - Beautiful fan leaves - Responded positively to some topping earlier this week and LST training -PPMs we’re a bit higher than the GH feeding chart suggested (500-600) ours read 720- not too worried at this point

2/12/25 top dressed with 2 tsp grow 1 tsp microbe and 2 tsp bloom. this genetic is always sooo freaking frosty. shes already starting to frost up on the fan leaves. finally looking like shes in flower. it took her awhile to get started i feel like compared to past grows/ other Cultivars. 2/18/25 she has a very nice and even structure to her. a bunch of tops that are 3-5 node top colas with a nice disconnected set of buds after an inch two space between the nodes. frosty gassy and fairly large considering pot size.
