Pumbaa77 Once again, I'm trying this technique, which involves piercing the base of the trunk with toothpicks. First, I make a small incision with a knife at the base of the trunk to split the two parts, then I insert some toothpicks (I've seen some growers with a nice wide trunk use chopsticks) to keep the two parts separated. This should lead to an increase in resin on the buds and also in volume. Who knows, let's hope.... Tomorrow 06/21/2021, I will do another root cleaning (water flushing) to drastically reduce the EC (remember that the last rinse was about 2000 EC - pH around 6).

Pumbaa77 Since 06/25/2021, I started putting them in the dark and they will stay there until the end of June. After that, I will check and decide to cut them and hang them upside down.

Pumbaa77 My experience with Growdiaries has been good because at least now I can manage the various cycles and strains of my harvest a bit more easily. For now, it's too early to comment on flavors; after all, I've only been hanging for 3 days, while it's been dark for 5 days. In the meantime, from what I've noticed by touch, it has a spicy, earthy, piney smell. I'll continue with my various notes later on.
