Everything looking good still with the Cherry Strudel. Not getting any strong cherry terps yet. I've started supplementing 40ppm of magnesium from MgSo4 to try and see if it helps with the slight fading out, i was suspecting it was from the intensity of the LED, although only 300w i was getting a DLI of around 50 which is way too high. I've raised the LED slightly and applied a light top dress of the Ecothrive Soil Food Bloom. I've added a small clip fan to circulate air around the upper canopy and I've got a 5 inch RVK fan circulating air underneath the canopy.

This week was a good one . Stellar initial growth this round after upgrading lights & using homemade super soil. My 3 day old plants looked like 9 day old plants of my last run to give an idea . I watered for the first time since planting on 5/17 . I had to itch to test the runoff since it’d only take a sec right? All the ph’s came out almost 2 points lower than when they went in so I decided on a flush even though I’m using Dry amendments. Honestly I didn’t have the problem of fluctuating ph’s before I added that Peat Moss to my supersoil in hindsight I wish I would have just ordered 1 more 11lb brick of CoCo Coir . I had the idea that I may need to flush a day or two prior to watering when I noticed all my stems purple. I get it could be genetics but ALL of them where purple . Here today it is 1 full day since I flushed & all of the stems are now Green with the exception of my Runtz seedling. 3/17 will make day 7 for Runtz & #1 of the GDP 3/18 will make day 7 for Zkittlez & the 3 remaining GDP. I intended to transplant these ladies day 13 preferably into their forever homes of 3g fabric pots . Fingers crossed day 14 they’ll be ready to start some LST.

Pretty stoked where she decided to pop out. Gives me a little LST room. Gonna play it by ear with that constricted root space before I try anything drastic. 😅 Just keeping her humid and watered with 6.8ph + a tiny bit of root hormone. It's never something you want to find but it's definitely part of the challenge growing outdoors. I started to harvest some for some fresh frozen so once I get them all done in the next couple weeks I'll know what my total is going to be. All in all Happy Growing.

Day 78 plants are now going to grow outdoor. Clones coming along nicely. This week I'm giving the mothers a chance to get used to outdoor grow. Day 84, mother enjoying the sun, got 91 clones from the first 3 batches.

She is starting to getting fat, at the begginning of this week, it was raining, but in the middle of the week, sunny days are appearing, and she is loving it, drastically increased eating levels, in 1-2 days, lower leaves started to yellow, but i noticed soon and gave a good dose with 4ml/l Top BLoom + some carbohydrates, Top Candy 2ml/l, and now she is lovin it. That purple colours appearing...no words... I cut out the nutrients and let the plant do its thing. I also noticed the plant had been pollinated and was starting to grow seeds, so I cut her at the end of this week, a week early. I left a portion of the plant to seed, but the rest was cut and hung. The branch I left is showing toxicity, proof of the intensity of nutrients this plant needed to survive. I tried to combat this with PH balancer to keep the cola productive and not toxified by the excessive nutrients needed by the rest of the plant that wasn't there. I was successful by prolonging the life closest to winter by building a heat trap, and mulching the ground beside the plant.

They both have started to flower! So far so good both plant seem to be doing great with no issues.

This week, I have been trying to manage stretching. I have been trying to keep temps low for the first couple of hours of daylight, but the stretching seems to happen during the dark period. I am pretty much completely out of screen holes for training, so I have been tying down tall shoots for training as best as I can. The canopy is only about 8" thick, but I continue to remove fan leaves to improve air flow. Some spots get condensation when the lights go out. I changed the timer on one light to go off 5 minutes after the other to give my equipment the chance to lower humidity before the temp drops. I added a couple more fans to hit some spots that weren't moving enough. It seems like removing fan leaves is one step forward, two steps back because each time I remove a lot of fan leaves, the plants come roaring back with more growth than before. I am ready for the stretch to end before my scrog becomes just a skeletal support system. I have spare nets in case they do need support. My initial 20 gallon mix clocked in around 600 ppm, but it spiked over 900 the next day. I have been adding 5 gallons of plain water every day, and the ppm stays around 550. I guess that is the concentration they want. Funny, I thought this strain was going to devour nutrients. I have no deficiencies whatsoever. I did have one issue after the rez change. I noticed the solution was not getting to all of the buckets. The GH Waterfarm kit I am using has 1/2" tubes which are blue and translucent. There was algae completely blocking 3 of the tubes. Fortunately, I had the foresight to install shutoff valves on the buckets, so removing and cleaning them was easy. There were some roots beginning to grow into the tubes which will become a problem in the coming weeks when they begin to clog the tubes. I don't know what I'll do since I can't lift the buckets, but I will figure something out. My opinion of this expensive bucket system is not pleasant.
