23.08.24: I've done considerable defoliation. Also, FBP1 and FBP3 have grown all over the place. The stems are also relatively weaker as they've grown so much. (Photos above). Being as the plants were looking a bit delicate, I added some string and tied the side branches lightly to keep them a bit more compact. Additionally, FBP2 has a considerable amount of buds on the main cola. So I've added a plant stake, and I just tied string around the stake and the main stalk. The humidity has been able to stay under 53%. That's with 3 dehumidifiers. So I'm pretty sure that's about as good as it will probably be. I've had to lower the watering frequency on FBP3, as I overwatered only this plant. and also added too much Nitrogen in. As a result all the leaves are looking droopy. I'm really not sure how this will pan out, as they all still look like they're weeks away from harvest. Anyway, I'll update throughout the week. 25.8.24: I was tending to the garden a majority of the day, and realised that a branch had broken on FBP2. I acted quickly to insert plant stakes, to provide the heavily laden branches additional support. See photos above. The branch was bent or snapped, but still in one piece. I used duct tape to carefully put it back together. Before making a stake for it. Silica, apparently wasn't quite enough to get the FBP2 through the whole way. The flowers are very heavy and dense. I have also given the plants water yesterday with concentrations of the following nutrients, per plant. ● 9ltr of dechlorinated tap water with 6ml of cal-mag, 3ml of Ecothrive Flourish, 6ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster. I have also added cinnamon top dress after watering, as I have noticed some fungus gnats. I checked the trichomes through one of my loupes yesterday too, and nearly all are still glass like in appearance, with some cloudy here and there. I'm definitely going to have some time left on these girls. I did check the PH if my soil on all plants as I was concerned about nutrient lock out on FBP3. All pots tested out at 7.0 Ph exactly, before and after watering. Thanks for reading my diary 😊

This was the first run of a FastBuds strain and I appeared to have picked a strain that works well with my grow style. She had nice wide indica leaves at the start of her growth and by two weeks over the sides of the pot. 3 gal seems to be a good pot size given her life span and her size. She flipped to flower as expected in week 4. From there she steadily gained weight in flower and was a struggle to keep her tied down with LST. Removing the lower bud sites on the side branches would also have helped to fill in her top colas so don’t be worried that she won’t fill in and you talk yourself into leaving them......cut them off😃👍She sets into a nice yellow fade on the leaves and the edges take on a purple colour. Add in red and orange hairs with everything covered in trichomes and she is a beautiful girl🤩🤩 Flush was over two weeks so expect a smooth smoke 🤞 Will follow up with more as she progresses through drying. In the box with temp at 62 to 66 degrees and humidity at 60%. Branches are not that long so I am expecting dry should be around 7 to 10 days. *******Updated Mar 7/20********* Dry went okay and she was in there for 9 day dry, Feb 25 to Mar 5th. Will be waiting until she has roughly a three week cure before I sample anymore. Did a little for not just to test her out. Further notes from dry and trim........ Should have fed her another week for increased density. Smoke is smooth so far, I don’t mind sacrificing weight for smooth smoke but not sure it was a needed trade off with this girl. Find out next run of her, which will be very soon😀👍 Her high is nice and strong. Not much sampled so far........rather say more to come in a few weeks......sweet and impressive so far!!!! Again a real pleasure to grow and I see more opportunity to do better with this girl😃 Very excited to go again and will definitely be in the next auto run again. Love how she grew and looked! 5 days in flower , planted on 5/5/24. had 3 week stunt because of pests 😂, she handled it well I’d say… did some big defoliation today , IPM via neem & horticultural soap spray . Also growing in my own custom mix that I recycle every grow , this is third season of the pot , with 1 season of being cycled outside ….. which I’ll never do again as I brought in all the common pests …. Gnats taken over during first week , taken 3 weeks to get rid of them thus the stunt… poor roots Then caterpillars -manual eradication Then thrips - predatory mites Then two spotted spider mites -which am still decimating , can’t see any signs of them but still be using HN spray until I start to see budding , I’ll also buy another batch of predatory mites and let them go nuts … Ps growing in my own crafted coco coir soil . So it will only get better hopefully 😂

This girl seems to be doing very well and they probably will be finished in 2 week or so if crazy weather doesn't ruin everything a nice citric smell with a cheesy smell to it as well is what she has developed and she starting to look pretty nice and heavy . Sie entwickeln sich. Sehr schön stabil, buschig, geil. Auch die Sherbet, die ich natürlich beim LST abgeknickt habe (soo ein Otto. Das Geräusch ist echt eklig), wächst einfach munter weiter. Solar Fang ist immer noch kompakt, aber hat sich auf 25cmchen geschraubt. Das darf alles gerne so weiter gehen, zumal sich die ersten Blütenansätze zeigen 😍 Und es duftet nun auch. Zeitraffer der letzten Woche, heute mit Rucklern, am Ende der Bildreihe. Liegt am Arbeiten im Zelt, wo ich an die Kamera gestoßen bin und das Bild sich verstellt hat.

5th week of veg: I'm happy with the current structure and spread of tops. I had to pull the light even higher she is growing tall already, can't wait to see how tall she gets once in flower. Speaking from flowering, I will switch the light cycle to 12/12 during the next days. So next weeks dairy entry will be the first in flowering.

Endlich bereit für Blüte, stelle das Licht auf 12/12 Zyklus und lasse die Lampe nun mit voller Stärke auf 500watt laufen. Habe einen Mangel festgestellt, der wahrscheinlich auf das fehlen von CalMag zurück zuführen ist. Außerdem ist es Zeit die Pflanze großzügig zu entlauben.

Consechada! Es una planta muy fácil pienso, es la primera vez. No lo sé cuanto gramos pueden ser.. espero 5g secos gramos por planta? No tiengo un idea, realmente.. claro por 65W LED no puedo preguntar más... lo hoy cultivada como regalo por mi amigas, sólidamente se regalan rosas a una mujer, yo le regalo estas plantas, esperamos que le van a gustar también... no pienso que la voy a fumar... no lo sé.. Cuanto gramos secos pueden ser más o meno piensas?

Ну вот и закончился наш короткий путь выращивания сатива-доминантного сорта. К сожалению, размер бокса не позволил полноценно включить лампу, так как растение сильно вытянулось и стало получать световые ожоги, плюс еще сыграл недостаток кальция. Изначально хотел 8 больших, толстых и симметричных колл, но пришлось гнуть дополнительно. На фотографии видно, что все ветки закручены по спирали - это пытался решить проблему сильно низкого освещения. Давно не растил сативный сорт и забыл, что в начале цветения растение ну очень сильно вытягивается. В итоге, из-за LST во время цветения, нижние этажи тоже вытянулись и вместо 8 колл получилось в 3 раза больше. Все-таки мне мой метод больше нравится, чем ML, так как времени уходить меньше, стресса меньше, а результат такой же. Снял 607 грамм больших веток и около 100 грам всякой мелочевки. Немножечко пересушил. Так бы вышло грамм 200 чистых шишек. Придется чуток их увлажнить. Вцелом очень доволен собой и результатом. Спасибо что заглянули и порадовались вместе со мной.
