Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)

This week saw an influx of flower sites all over the plant, cannot believe how many flower sites this girl started yielding! Did some HST previous week and had wrangled the stems to create knuckles by breaking cell walls and forcing them to become thicker. Pics of recovery and knuckle forming.

All looks healthy and i can´t wait to see the next weeks pass 😁 . After my vent made me mad and started to hang i found a nice vid on YT about the "Fan Wars" and cause i disliked waiting, now he is in: Spider Farmer Vent , i love him ! , next one will be AC Infinity from the US , but this one is already pro quality 😎.

This is for the RQS autumn cup. I also use SST’s: Corn and Lentils LABS ( lactic acid bacteria serum) Looks like I have 137 days to harvest these 4. So that means 2 full months of veg and 65 day of flower. Happy growing to everyone

Strain Check: Durban Poison (African Queen) - Growth style: Less height (expected 2m+), more lateral explosion – new shoots daily make her look like 3 plants in one. - Flower status: White pistils stacking at branch tips. - Smell: Still discreet (neighbor-safe… for now). - Health: Vibrant green – zero stress signs. Blueberry - Surprise stretch: Nearly hit 2m (like a sativa!). Half Durban’s width but elegant. - Stem power: Thicker trunk than Durban – mini-tree status. - Color preview: Purple stems emerging! Buds may follow suit (fingers crossed). - Support needed: Prepping for heavy buds to avoid branch snaps. Care & Environment - Feeding: Pure Bokashi juice (no extras) – they’re thriving on it. - Pests/mold: None spotted. Dry summer helping. - Weather: About 20° C and really high humidity. These plants are finally stable! I've stabilizrd the temperature and humidity. They appear a week behind where they should be. Two of the Candida plants look severely stunted in their growth. This is likely due to early novice mistakes. (The Candida plants are in the 10gallon Rhizopots). The two auto Sour Diesel's are strong and healthy. The Charlotte's Angel auto is doing quite well.

I’m rolling the dice with this grow as the temps are not ideal but I’m running low 😂 Started the germination off today so I’ll come back and update once they have popped there little heads above ground. Had to take a hiatus for about a week or two. But now I'm back in full swing! The girls are all swimming along great! I believe in my last update I discussed wanting to main line this plant. But instead I'll do some lollipopping and topping. I figure that would be less traumatic than performing a main-line this late in it's growth. The one sweet zombie clone I got to root is coming along awesomely. I've been feeding compost tea to establish benis and now their growth has really picked up. I'm really worried about how crowded it will get in this tent, so I may end up putting my clones outside once we have vegetative conditions outdoors. Either way, I'll just run with it lol. week intel: its time to harvest top buds! because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. its crucial to get uniformed buds in terms of quality that you let the lower buds to get some extra air and especially light! then the pop corn buds quality will reach the top buds. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

Buds are not as dense as the first purple punch but the mass is more. Will keep this updated up to drying. Edit #1 June 15 : buds have been washed in baking soda/lime juice warm water (32*C) > rtp water (27*C) > cold water (22*C). Buds then will be hung to dry for 24 hours in AC (45% humid). At day 2 (or in another 24 hours) will move the buds into another room for 24 hours again @65-75% humidity. Day 3 (or in another and probably the last 24 hours of drying) will move back into ac and then a stem test on each branch will be conducted to see if they are dry enough. If they are not dry enough after day 3 (2 days ac @ 45% and 1 day rtp @65-75%) then a 4th day of ac drying will occur and then more branch tests. Upon being sufficiently dry, the final trim of the sugar leaves will occur and then jarring with some Boveda 58%. Thanks for reading, more edits to come.
