After 70 days of growing, the single NYC Diesel Auto by Quebec Cannabis Seeds yielded 125g of dried bud.
The flowers are quite crystalized with trichomes and firm for the most part. I have tried smoking and vaping it, and it has proved potent with a quick hitting high. The flowers are not pungent, but have a milder pine-citrus-diesel smell and taste. The effects are powerful and uplifting, without being anxiety inducing. It is well balanced with some body effects mixed with more mental qualities like the tendency to cause hyperfocus.
The bud is now jarred for curing and storage. It has been slightly overdried but is rehumidifying as it cures. I will update the review in another month!

Mega crop worked well, but I switched away to try a 3 part nutrient.
Cal+mag pro worked well.
Switched to GH Flora series half way through the grow. Worked well, and will be only using them during my next grow.
Overall the NYC Diesel from Quebec Cannabis Seeds grew well and yielded 125g of dry bud as a single plant. After 5 days of drying I over dried the buds, but I have been humidifying slightly now that they are curing. I am very happy with the effects of the strain and the quantity of the bud so the grow was a success! However, I could have managed my environmental conditions a little better and I should have fertigated more frequently for even better results.
I should have my next grow up and running soon, and will be trying out new growing strategies!

I am going to transition to using GH Flora series for my base nutrients, but I am not sure how much I should bother with their suppliments. Besides CalMag which I am adding, has anyone had good results with their bloom boosters, liquid silica, etc? Or is it a waste of money?

Iam nearly using more benefical stuff than "nutrients". I use Humic Acid ,Silica, enzymes, Molasses, Magnesium ,calcium, Asophyllum Nodosum spirulina, aloe etc....... This is stuff every living creature needs. If its a Animal a Pant or a Human beeing. These are major elements of our life. Iam using effective microorganisms and " living Organics" in my soil. I can see a big difference from the point i started to use and before. Plants are healthy strong and resiliant. They are very sticky, building lots of " sugar" looking healthy and happy. So in my opinion benefical stuff is great.

I have been experiencing some high temps (peak 29c in tent) I can't control. I have very good ventilation and my PH, nutrients, etc, are all good. My foliage is lightening to a more yellow-green, does it look like a heat stress problem or just normal old age (day 50 auto)?

If you are worried about the temps you can get hre " cold feet". Cooling down the roots is agood thing here. But in 29 i see a tmp that is not too bad. Feeding Kelp helps her to pull through too. If you are afraid . Maybe give her less hours with light so its colder. To me her colour is like a plant that age looks like. And a slightly defiency dont hurt anybody. Your PLant concentrates to flower, And i would not worry.

@Mrs_Larimar, thanks! The flowers are filling in decently. It's been dry here which cuts down on the smell, but I'm hoping it gets a bit more dank after the harvest/cure 🙂

@Mrs_Larimar, good to know! I like organic growing and have tried to keep some elements of it in my current Coco setup (using earthworm castings, molasses, etc) so I will try more beneficial bacterial/fungal suppliments in the future!

I noticed you didn't do a flush near the end but rather switched the feed. Wouldn't you still want to flush the plant ?

@Farmboyconnor, that sounds good! I am still dialing in the balance myself, too long a flush and you lose yield and too short means less benefits 🙂

@Cheeba_Inu, thanks for the advice . I'm using general organics like you were near the end . I'll most likely be doing 1 week flush if that's the case . Ppm run off right now is 350 , week 4 of flower

@Farmboyconnor, it was fed water only for about 4 days at the end which I would consider a shorter flush. But heavy/long (multi-week) flushes are less needed in my opinion if you're staying at a lower EC for fertigation, with plenty of runoff. The last week or so of biothrive bloom/cal-mag was at about a 0.6 going in and similar for the runoff. Normally I wouldn't switch the feed but I was experimenting with nutrient ratios heading right into the end.

Hey, if you’re looking to try new techniques you should check out Korean Natural Farming which uses fermentations to make bio fertilizers. Cheap and honestly it seems pretty awesome. Check the Paramount seeds website about LAB and elsewhere how LAB is part of KNF.
