So this is day 40 of flowering,I had a slight PH issue with the Lionheart (Granddaddy Crack) plant which is the light green plant, back right. I was able to fix the PH issue by flushing with 6.0 Ph'd water. Other than that everything is looking beautiful. Lot's of trichome development and the buds are setting nicely.The Malawi plant at the back left (tall 100% sativa) is also starting to set beautifully. Malawi has a long flowering time (up to 70 days!) which means the colas will be huge hopefully.

Glueberry in full flower mode. DTC99 is stacking nicely. Everybody seems happy. Defoliation here and there. Nutrient update forthcoming.

Hey everyone 😃. Both phenotypes are beautiful, the Pehno 1 is of course the more beautiful due to its red color 😍. Both smell really delicious 😃. Now to the weekly overview. Days of flowering 42 Since the water was only poured on day 41, both were only checked for their health today. Flowering day 43 Today both were poured with 1 l each, completely without additives as they should use up their remaining nutrients :-). Flowering day 44 The tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled. Flowering day 45 Today both were checked for health and sprayed. Flowering day 46 Today everything in the tent was tested for functionality (fans, etc.). The humidifier has been refilled. Flowering day 47 Again today it was poured with 1.2 l each time, and the tent was cleaned. Flowering day 48 Both plants were checked to see how wide their trichomes were (70% milky, 20% clear and 10% amber). The plants are really extremely fast 👍. Everything was cleaned again and the humidifier was filled. That was it pushed with this week, and I have to say the Fast Version lives up to its name 😳😃. such a wonderful thing to see when you know your slowly approaching harvest and the flowers are starting to glisten😍! aromas are so Grande, filling my grow space with deep fire gasssy tones with overtones of sweet citrus, pineapple and mint😋! she's a beauty showing off her colours and fading her remaining leaves as she finalises her flowers! the journey with her has been incredible so far! she's far from boring! and very easy to grow! i just hope she finishes in time for the contest! fingers crossed! 👌

Hi all, Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Thank you so much for your all support on this bananas journey 💜💚💜💚 Week 12 Jan 1 - Jan 7 I am so happy seeing how my girls are developing. All it's going great. 2 waterings of 8ltr on 03/01 no runoff and second on 06/01 9.5ltr! Runoffs PH at 6.2. Purchased larger dehumidifier and installed on 03/01 instantly humidity decreaseed from 55-59 to 50-55 on avg. and at night from 62-69 to 54-60. Light from 01/01 on max power output 110 watts. Nutes slightly adjusted. Buds on both girls gaining size, weight. Trichomes on Athena mostly milky and clear with only very few ambers. Xena mostly 50/50 clear and milky, They are smelling gorgeously, not sure if I should smoke or eat them first. Next week will still feed with nutes and keep an eye on trichomes development but it seems that girls are not in a hurry at all. That's okay me neither 😁 Stay tuned for next week entry very soon! Week 8 flower, watering until the end. No more top dressing or fish shit. Just the same de chlorinated tap water, not ph’d or filtered that I’ve been using since the beginning. Comes out the tap with a ph of 7 and less than 15ppm tds. The soil takes care of everything.

Well week 3 went by pretty good! I flushed my soil twice because i was starting to see what looked like nutrient burn and since flushing twice it seems to have amended the soil and issue. I waited until the soil was fairly dry and watered yesterday with a new set of nutrients and will be keeping it on a schedule of feeding nutes once a week until i know it can handle more and im not burning it again. I bought stuff to help me LST the branches and during doing so bent one too far and it started tearing off. I put some support under it to hold it in place and now im just hoping and praying it heals up and can resume growth instead of me having to get rid of the whole thing. We will see but im excited either way!

Some of the leaves are yellow/ brown. Did a bit of research, looks like soil might be dry (especially due to high temps during this time of year) and possibly leaves being burnt by sun. Watering with a little bit more volumes of water, based on extra heat. Will track and see how week goes. The 2 bad fan leaves which looked really bad, I cut them off. Increase in volume of water for plants really helped due to really hot temperatures. Week 10 no nutrients (only used on 1st day and 2nd day of week 10) , just straight water.

. YEAR 5 - 2nd quarter ----------------------- The 5th season continues with 3 Gorilla Punch from FB and 3 Original XXL from GB in the same tent. A disappointment: with 6 plants, they yield 179 g, less than the previous 5. But in only 10 weeks. Green Brand did better than Fastbuds for a first try.

My Strawberry Gorilla plant is coming along, though it's a bit more delicate than my Gorilla Cookies. It's still showing some nice growth under the lights, but it's definitely a bit more sensitive. I'm keeping a close eye on it, and I'm hopeful that it'll start to thrive soon. I'm starting to get a faint whiff of that sweet, fruity aroma, so I know there's potential there! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow.. Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

Jeden Tag bis Dienstag werden noch da und da ein paar Blätter entfernt aber ohne Sie zu stressen max 2 pro Pflanze am Tag. Es sind auch nur die Blätter die Bud's verdecken Heute gab es wieder lecker Futter 😋 Hesi Blüh Complex 5ml auf 1L Wasser , Hesi Booster 2ml auf 1L Wasser ,Hesi Phosphor + 0,4ml auf 1L Wasser und Hesi SuperVit. Alles zusammen ergab ein Super Nährstoff Trunk der Sie jetzt erst mal für 4 Tage versorgt . Skunk #1 riecht sehr stark aber das war klar und immer sehr sehr fein. Der Typische Skunk Geruch wird von einer schönen Zitronen 🍋 note abgerundet. Tangerine Sugar riecht sehr süß und fruchtig. Tricome bilden alle beide sehr gut, der Nodien Abstand der Skunk #1 ist definitiv kleiner somit gehe ich stark davon aus das sich fast ein dicker kolben zeigen wird und das an allen Haupt und Seitentriebe. Tangerine Sugar wird auch schöne Bud's zum Vorschein bringen aber halt keine durch gehende kolben 🙂 Ihre Triebe sind definitiv nicht so kräftig gewachsen wie die von der großen Schwester aber verstecken brauch Sie sich auch nicht. Hallo Ihr lieben 💚 Woche 2. hat bekommen, die Damen wurden in Ihre 20l Töpfe umgezogen und haben inzwischen wieder Fuß gefasst. Bald werden die kleinen getoppt und dann wird es auch endlich wieder etwas spannender. Ich finde die ersten Wochen vergehen immer sehr langsam. Genießt das tolle Wetter und habt einen guten Start ins Wochenende. ☀️
