Day 57 and I have decided to go another two weeks roughly to advance maturity and Bud size I've been talking with other Growers and they seem to be in consensus that even though I'm close to the actual Harvest Time listed on the website for this plant it is not mature enough quite yet and I can get quite a bit more out of it. That being said here we go. Quite a bit has changed today I introduced a new way of watering my plants more frequently whatever happened to worry about spillage as a result my plant is sitting slightly higher off the ground as I built a platform for it so the water drips from the pot into the catcher and I can remove the catcher without touching the pot. I also have changed the way my lighting is set up. I'm sure that some of my other grow pictures show the lighting the way it was the new way should be much more efficient at covering the area and kind of just really cleaning everything up. My hope is that some have you may find these things useful possibly for your own tent grows. As always if you have any questions feel free to drop them below happy growing Day 59 as you will see in the pic there are almost no amber trichomes its a good thing i am continuing to grow this girl. you may have noticed a lack of heavy trichomes ( i know i did ) i think its just the strain as this is the second plant to be like this my LSD, Ayahuasca purple and church had far more trichomes on the leafs but im not complaining she smells great and i bet she will taste great and give a good high as well Day 62 im starting to get more amber trichomes and you can really tell that she is sucking up the nutes in the leafs also going forward i will start a new way of feeding because i tested the run off today and its at 2466 ppm and thats to much on the high side for me. so now im going to put 2 L of straight tap water and then 2 L of nute mix every day and test to see how things are going. If i dont notice a good drop i will do 3 L of water and keep going up from there. at this point there is not real risk to the plant and it will help me on the next grow that i will be starting right after this Day 63 so i noticed a drop in the ppm its now 2276 a drop of almost 200 ppm in 1 day so not to bad. i would like it a bit faster so im going to up it to 3 L water and 2 L nutes thats all for now

I transplanted everything over the past 3 or 4 days and am just giving them some time to break in their new shoes before I flip them. I got a new bottle of calmag I think the one I was using was old it's been on the shelf for a while. The heat is still a little lower than I would like and now with the bigger pots humidity has gone way up.

8/30 Rained yesterday and pretty much all night. Plants looked happy this morning. I'm thinking about feeding today or tomorrow. The late flowering special kush doesn't have much longer and it will be done. I'm going to need to do another treatment for the thrips. Nights are so cold that I think they aren't a major problem. No signs of septoria either. No signs of ANY molds or mildew. Even where I took the pillar out but I removed a lot. I am noticing (especially on the pink kush and the special kush in the back) the wierd "top hat" lower buds like I previously did. I don't think it's the chipmunk. It's like they eat fresh buds and leave the top there. I think it might be earwigs but I haven't seen ANY. Birds have been keeping my garden pretty clean. Almost everytime I walk down there it's like a flock of birds takes off lol. I was watching the little finches all perched on my cage. I've seen them dart in and grab a snack. It's pretty cool how it works. Symbiotic relationship. I feed the birds amd they help keep my garden pest free. EDIT: Went to check the girls around 430. It seems like everytime I see the flowers they've swelled in size. Especially the natural mk ultra. Everything is really coming together. Pink kush is behind but it's starting. I'm getting lots of fall colors but I'm losing lots of leaves too. I wouldn't have defoliated as good as I have if I hadn't had problems. I thought the plants were done getting taller or stretching but after this rain they ALL seem taller. The buds are swelling as well. I'm on the home stretch with the early special kush. Few more weeks. Everything looked amazing tonight. I wanted to take some pictures but I left my phone. Smell is greatly increasing. 8/31 I don't get how we got NO rain the ENTIRE summer but it's rained the past few nights? Maines bipolar weather I guess. I see the same shit as prior years. Something crawls up and eats small shoots and developing buds but leaves larger ones alone. I thought it was earwigs before. I'm not sure now. I'll have to go look at night and figure out what's eating shit. It's just small secondary shoots mostly. Stuff I should've pruned but I leave on so the won't eat my fucking colas. I got some work to do but I'm getting closer. 9/1 Well we made it to September. Pink kush is finally STARTING to form little buds. After some research (and watching those fucking locusts try to fly into my cage but can't because they are to fucking big. I was lucky I found that enormous one on the stalk of the furthest special kush right where the tip cola starts. Luckily I was able to get him. Didn't have to take pics or a video or even check if they need water. It rained a little last night and the buds were a little wet. I'm planning to feed when I get back. If they need water I'll give it to them. My early special kush is getting real close. I want to harvest at peak timing but sometimes exigent circumstances screw that up. However i think I'll be able to let this girl finish properly. EDIT: Went back over to check weights and everything was super heavy. Plants are all turning fall colors. I checked the trichs on my special kush, mk ultra and 10th planet. Everything looked great in the sun! Everything is swelling and getting frostier everyday. I'm hoping that the pink kushs will finish. My early special kush LOOKS like it should be done but it's not. Looking at the trichs and stigmas it needs more time. I've found on several plants that between the; giant caterpillars, earwigs and pillars that they can take a whole branch and pretty much decimate it in a night. I chased one of those giant locusts around my Cafe and it finally got out. Bastard was almost the size of a small bird! I should feed tonight and possibly do a treatment for pests.

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. hello growers" I started the 2nd week of flora by cleaning the reservoirs, adding a new nutrient solution and adding ADVANCED NUTRIENTS BIG BUD and making a big deloliation. 👊 For the beginning of the 2nd week of flora a LOLIPOP pruning was also done. ------- We completed another week, the buds are growing at an accelerated pace. Next week when I'm cleaning the reservoirs, I'll do a new defoliation on the girls. I'm running out of space in my tent they are growing absurdly. 👽

Wow, can this strain grow. She has really stetched and filled out. I am going to repot to 2 gallons later in the week. I really responded to the nutrients.

Had a lot of fun growing these girls. They went through a lot off the bat due to my inexperience. Learned a lot during this run and it was extremely rewarding to nurse them back to health. I am very pleased with this grow for it being my first run. I had no expectations as I am just starting to learn and want nothing more than to acquire knowledge. The quality and yields will come once I get more dialed in. Once these girls got healthy they had no problems for the whole grow. I am already planning improvements for future systems and am extremely excited to continue on my grow journey. Thanks to all who helped me out.
