RIP!!! This week we went up to check on her 3 days after the was moved into her new home and she was looking very healthy. Then when we went to check on day 4, SHE WAS COMPLETELY GONE!!! We don’t know what happened, however we assume that a wallaby or another animal ate her. As we are guerilla growing, it is very difficult to manage things such as pests. And our location has a lot of frequent wallabies, so it was only a matter of time. This is a very sad day indeed, but now we can learn from our mistakes and put a cover over the rest of our batch. RIP!!!

Growth in height has backed off on plant 2, 3, and 4. Plant 2 is at 30 inches, plant 3 coming in at about 28, and plant 4 has hit 34 only 2 inches taller than last week. They're starting to lay on flower weight now and you can definitely tell. Plant 2 has seemed to be maturing slightly faster in terms of bud structure and color however plants 3 and 4 have begun to crystal up and get darker like plant 2 has been. Plant 2 is still taking her sweet time, not much growth. Might be something to look into, she's wicking water just fine just way for behind the others despite popping earlier and growing larger first till she stopped and lost the race back in week 5. She's now poking through the trellis and developing more flowers we shall see what she does. Overall a very exciting week, they're drinking a little more water than last week. Filling my 12 gal res every 5 days now still running the 3 grams per gallon(0.6 tsp/gal or 1 tbs/5gal) of the B1&B2 from FloraFlex. As of right now I've been running about 300-500 par on this tsw2000 at max tent height on 75% wattage. Will crank to 100% in the next couple weeks.

Hey guys! TheIceCreamParlour has been on a little break while we made some major refurbishments. The first 5 plants are now hooked up to the system and we are ready to go. These girls were transplanted yesterday into 6" Cultilene blocks with floraflex feeding blocks on a 12 hour feeding system. Fertigation takes place every half hour for 20 seconds meaning fresh oxygenated solution is being replenished frequently. I'll keep this diary as simple as possible considering it's the first test of my home made feed system.

The new growth is coming in a little limey, we insist on reusing Promix so PH is always a bit of a rollercoaster lol.. no sweat, usually a gallon each PH'd to 5.5 with 5ml/gal N solution will get them back to baseline..we seem to have the same issue with most plants grown in our basement during summer, I'm sure the super high humidity and low evaporation rate has something to do with it... if they don't come around after the adjustment, they'll spend some time under the HIDs, this always straightens them out..we topped the mainline for the last time today for 8 mains per side, as well as another full round of toppings on the x2 LST plants... thanks for reading if you made it this far and happy growing everyone!!! ❤️🐱💡🌱 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_ 8/22/21 🐱 Quick update, the mainlined plant is showing signs of calcium deficiency which is odd, with our routine we almost never have Calcium or magnesium issues..its really only noticeable under the florescent lights on this one but we'll have to make changes.. they all have plenty of calcium in their media so I'm wondering if the PH has gone screwy in that pot.. we reuse promix which gets really acidic sometimes and we add lime to buffer this but we guess a lot and may not have used enough (or waited long enough)..I know when our media gets around 5-5.5 calcium deficiency is a huge issue..ill add a little more calcium to be sure and will try using water PH'd higher (6.5-7) and see if this helps anything. Thanks again for reading growmies!! ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. Thriving 😍✌️💚 Day 45 14/08/24 Tuesday Water today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. With Plagron PK13-14 and power buds. Noticing the stretch stop, and now packing out there bud sites 💪💚 Day 48 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Picture and video update ✌️ 💚

10/22: wow… what a mess. I should have defoliated last week. They were incredibly overgrown and now i had to stress the hell out of them to get the tent cleared up for light. Hopefully the stress does not cause any issues. As if the defoliation was bot enough stress on them, my light height has reached its top, and PL1 had two colas starting that were already pressed into the light. And so i removed their tops a node or two down. Im sure this was as good as hitting the plant in the face with a brick. Hope she recovers! If youve been following along, you know i planted these with hopes for the extremely purple pheno. And i believe that if i had it, she would have started showing her colors by now. Looking forward to seeing what these turn into and if they make it without any issues after i kicked them around a bit.

2024.09.12 D64 Its been two busy week, as i trim the 1 pond mother, get aknowledge that my wife use my grow sniper two pruned is badly infested rose bush, since 2 week and never proper clean it whith alcool.😱😱😱😷 in result a massive PM & mithe contamination in my grow tent... 😱😭😷😭 all plant have been shoot with H2O2 at 0.5% and set ouside for 2 day, wich turn to be rainy as f***, until i clean and serilized everything, twice and run the hepa filter .😷😰 the plant look ok, lightly over wartered, but no more pest or PM sign as they return in the tent.. 3 days later PM hardly bonce back, no choice to use more agressive treatment so they all have been shoot with saffer's defender 3 in 1. after 3 shoot in 24h and another tent desinfection we should have get rid of it 🙏 8 day laters everything look fine👍, all damage leaf have been removed, i also prune some unrelevant lower and inner grow

🌱 Amnesia Skunk — Grow Recap (from seed to now) Strain: Amnesia Skunk Auto-Flower: 12/12 from seed Current age: Week 7 from seed Flowering reference: Week 3 of flower (by morphology, not calendar) How we got here • From day one, this run was intentional: 12/12 from seed, no veg phase. • Plants established quickly with strong root development and steady internodal spacing. • Early structure showed vigorous lateral branching, typical of Amnesia-leaning genetics. • Transition into flower was smooth — no stall, no stress signals. • By early flower, canopy density increased fast, especially in a full 8×8 room (~27 plants). This is where room logic started to matter more than single-plant logic. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Snapshot (current) • Day temp: ~28 °C • RH: ~65% • EC: ~2.4 • pH: ~6.5 • Height: ~40–80 cm • Lighting: LED (multi-layer canopy + under-canopy) On paper? Some growers panic at 28 °C in flower. In practice? This is where understanding beats numbers. ⸻ 🍃 LED, Leaf Temperature & VPD (the part most skip) Under LED lighting, room temperature ≠ what the plant feels. Unlike HPS, LEDs: • Don’t dump infrared heat • Keep leaf surface temperature 2–4 °C cooler than ambient So when: • Room temp ≈ 28 °C • Leaf temp ≈ 24–26 °C • RH ≈ 65% 👉 Leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants confirm it: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing • No stress-praying • Strong internodes • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s real data. We’re not ignoring numbers — we’re letting plant behavior be the final authority. Stability fixing something that isn’t broken. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — why it was heavier this week Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional, room-driven defoliation. Context matters • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, humidity pockets, and light penetration scale very differently at this density A single plant might not ask for it — but the room did. Why we defoliated • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Let photons travel into the canopy, not just hit the top • Reset apical dominance • Refocus energy toward flowering sites Yes — it was heavier than initially planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Roots are dialed • Feed is stable • Plants are healthy Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. We also: • Found a few minor under-canopy light burns • Nothing serious • Removed affected leaves • Cleaned structure The girls responded immediately — posture, color, and turgor all stayed on point. ⸻ 🌸 Where we are now (Week 3 flower) • Clear flower initiation • Sites are stacking evenly • Stretch is slowing • Structure is set • Energy is shifting from leaf production → flower development This is exactly where we want to be. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect next (and what not to) Expect: • Calyx stacking to accelerate • Stretch to finish over the next 7–10 days • Flowers to start defining their final architecture • Strong recovery response from defoliation Don’t expect: • Explosive bulk yet (that comes later) • Resin maturity at this stage • Any need for drastic changes From here on: • Stability • Observation • Small, intentional adjustments only if the plants ask ⸻ 🙏 Final words Thank you to everybody: • Lovers ❤️ • Haters 😉 • New followers • OGs • The GD platform • The GD community • The ones who ask questions • And the silent ones who just watch and learn Everyone is welcome here. This week was defoliation week, and the girls told us clearly what they needed — so we listened. Plants are looking outstanding, and this Amnesia Skunk run is right where it should be. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Very easy to grow, amazing aromas very mango strong tropical smell, very delicious, just like her sisters, I think it's a very stable genetic because 3 out of 4 were purple and the 4 of them have the same mango smell, very good automatic strain! 🌱 💚 💎

Jan 8th - plant(s) fed last nite @ 3.5/(3.0)L - both plants laying down patches of FROST, Congo is changing the Pistil colours to a rusty orange - w/ reduced nutes and Molasses Congo tds was 970ppm. Nat Mystic @ 1100 - solved an old desire to have a lower temperature in the tent, when the lights are off. Using a pin timer and restricting the operation of the Heater during the plants nite-cycle, has brought the average temp @ nite, down to where I’d like it; 18.5-19c Jan 9th - Natural Mystic got Flushed tonight. Aiding in the flush I am using FloraKleen to help @ 5ml/gal. 20 gal total used to get run-off below 100ppm Jan 10th - new meals posted above for the kids Jan 12th - with both plants flushed, I am building a nutritional snack for their next watering; tonight or tomorrow. I’m building an Aerated Compost Tea; 1 cup Worm Castings (compost component), 1 tbsp Kelp Meal, 3 tbsp Molasses, 1 Dead banana skin and a 1/3 tsp of Power Bloom granule - tea’s E.C. has gradually grown to 305ppm over last 18 hrs - last big feed for each plant maybe - both plants display some Amber but there is still a good showing of clear trichomes, as of the 10th. Jan 14th - last day of the week - natural mystic moved to the small tent for finishing - congo remains in big tent, made more accessible for photos / feedings - each plant fed 5L of aerated compost tea. Great timing, they were ready
