🌱 GrowDiaries Log – Day 9 FERMAKOR BASE SYSTEM – KOH VERSION ⚓ (Batch #1) Good morning growmies ☀️ One week in, the bucket looks nothing like scraps anymore. Breakdown has been quick and thorough — almost everything is liquid now, with just a few stubborn bits hanging on. Observations (Day 9): Foam: barely any, just a thin layer here and there — never really foamed big. Smell: nastier than Day 2, ammonia/chemical with a faint earthy undertone. Texture: 95% liquid, only tiny clumps left dissolving slowly. Color: darker and more uniform, looking like a concentrated base already. ⚠️ Safety note: Still caustic, still burns instantly — full gear needed for handling. 🌱 Reflection: Honestly impressive how fast KOH stripped everything down. No real foaming storm, just a steady chew through biomass until it turned into this dark liquid. I’ll give it another 3–4 days and see if those last solids are gone completely before calling this first batch finished.

Fifth week completed. They are showing more and more deficiencies, so I starded feeding more. I also got Bluelab soil pH meter - currently they are around 6.2 - not bad - week ago runoff was adound 5 so I was worried - but 2 waterings of pH 7.2 did the trick. They are back on track. I hope they will eat fast enough to save more leaves till the end - I want to keep them 3 or 4 more weeks. Buds are bulking nicely - they get fatter by the day. And they smell amazing - even with my horrid temperatures - the heat wave is real - AC does not help much though without AC it would be like 40*C in the tent 😵 Till next week! Day 16 Veg : Holy molly these girls have impressed me this week. I started with barely seedlings and now at the beginning of week 3 above the soil , they are going for it. Seeing the LOS girl#1 slowly start to gain a little more green to her leaf finally has me thinking the soil is becoming active now. The coty leaves are still all looking ok and not even nibbled by them. I wonder if autos can bypass them when resources are there for them ?. So far the coco girls have been consistently getting bigger but the LOS seems to have spurted up in their pots. They all had a treat of a life-cycle feed a few days back which seems to have accelerated them all a little too. No doubt their ruderalis genetic also is a huge help but no signs of deficiency besides the paling , so all good in the world. I am curious to see when the first signs of flower kick in now the 2 week mark has passed. Training starts soon.

I harvest her and i cant wait to test her.

Plants are coming along. Started week 6 today. Week 5 ended yesterday.

They are being fed twice a week, with 5 glasses of 6oz each. Additionally, calcium and boron have been sprayed on the leaves. The overall smell is slightly stronger than last week. EC 1.1 PH between 5.8 - 6.2

Repoted them into 5 litre pots from pot noodle cups , pulling top fan leaves still . The side branches are catching up slowly.

Seeming like we are going to be harvesting in the next week or so. So we are moving on to flushing. Watering twice a week with ph balanced water. No nutrients.

The lady has developed wonderfully 😊. The buds keep getting thicker and smell better :-). This week I added 1 g GHSC enhancer per l Coco. in total it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. The tent was completely cleaned and each plant was checked individually under the magnifying glass. Otherwise a few little things were done like yellow boards against sciarid mosquitoes and blue boards to prevent tripods. have fun with the update. Harvested a week early because of bud rot caused by calcium deficiency. I did a triple wash with hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and plain water to rinse. Note for future Coco needs a lot of calcium and magnesium. With constant drip system you need way less nutrients in solution. Check PH if you use calcium sulfate or silica!!! Once cured the weed has a good nutty smell with a little berry. It’s not very resinous, it has a good mind numbing effect but doesn’t lost more than one hour for 3/4 puffs, this is because of early harvest for sure because my previous crop was lot more potent.

Como estáis fumetillas, ya estoy de vuelta , otra vez actualizamos otra semana con estas cookies gelato. 3/5 salieron indicas y 2/5 salieron sativas, podemos apreciarlo bien en los vídeos. Royalqueenseeds tiene muy buenas variedades, y no espero menos de estas cookies gelato con un alto porcentaje en thc, 28%. . La humedad esta al 50% la temperatura está entre 21/24 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . Day 14, Two of the Orange Sherbets are a little behind & the one I’m trying to pull back from nutrient burn.. So far the White Widow Autos by Seedsman have been doing the best! Day 17 two of the Orange sherbet are a little behind the rest of the plants but overall I would say everything is going good! Seems like the orange sherbet that had the nutrient burn is starting to bounce back! Day 19 They are all really starting to take off! Probably gonna do some LST tonight or tomorrow!
