Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

The organic girl got transplanted in 7l pot with all-mix biobizz soil at the beginning of the week. The first watering after that was a week later. The EC of the run-off was on 2.53 as you can see in the picture, so I flushed it with ph(6.5) water mixed with the nuts I mention above(EC 0.32). I flushed until the EC got down to 1.3. I don't want it to get burned again cuz of the high EC in the soil. As of today, day 29, the newly adolescent plant is looking perky again. As far as I can read on the Biobizz bottles, all the nuts have a very acidic ph. That makes sense considering that they are organic and they need to have a long shelf life. No bacteria or fungus will go in such an acidic medium. Therefore I find it essential to increase the ph of the water after adding the nuts. Another thing I noticed is that they now released a CalMag product(finally), which they recommend using especially when using RO water.

Hi Growmies! All plants are definitely in bloom now, and there’s been quite a bit of stretching. This is where the low stress training really shines—flowers are at a relatively even distance from the light, with solid spacing between them. I’ve been defoliating conservatively, prioritizing leaf tucking over cutting wherever possible. Temperatures spiked to 32°C occasionally, but I kept the humidity high, so everything should still be in a safe zone. --- Quick rundown on everything else: Watering: 1000ml every third day Fertilizer: According to the BioBizz schedule Light intensity: ~1000 PPFD VPD: Stable at 0.94 kPa Temperature: ~28°C Relative humidity: ~75%

Buds are fattening nicely and the 2 plants are receiving nutrients well. Will stop the PK in the next few days before scaling back on the A/B next week before fluching for the last fortnight. looking forward to harvesting this clone as I've just ran out of the bounty from her mother. These plants are at the front and to the right in the timelapse videos.

I'm not happy with the overall harvest...it produced some good tasty smoke due to fine nutes and a wonderfull strain but i fu**ed it up by using a very bad soil...growth was very slow and also lost like 25g due to budrot/mold...again my fault as i set up ventilation the wrong way (RH was good but some buds didn't get enough airflow) Again i learned alot of things and got 275g of good, great smelling smoke...so not that bad...but could be much better 🙂

Hi guys So we are on day 42 from switch so going into week 7 now, these are a 45-50 day flowering plant, I will be using a ripner for the next 10 days then give it a final flush of just water at ph 6.2. So there starting there fade now on some of the leaves and the buds are are fattening up. There really really sticky and covered in trichomes. I'm really looking forward to the end result. Temps and humidity are all good I took a few leafs off that was blocking buds but other than that its been a normal week. Happy growing guys and keep it up 💚💚💚 Day 44 on the scrog there fattening up but jeez there's so many white pistils. I'm not sure whether to just flush with alternating water and molasses or to use a ripner on it???? What a beast! The main bud has really plumped up and looks absolutely gorgeous. I’ve trimmed off a few of the larger leaves. It smells delicious and looks very healthy.

Right so basically, a week ago today marked a month for these ladies and because I had a broken phone it was very hard to keep up to date with the journal but hopefully now I can keep on top of this grow for you guys. It's been 35 days since germination for the Rhino Ryder and Afghan Kush. I'm using soil from the back garden and now that there is a bit of foliage, with the watering etc. The humidity has risen to a level I'm not happy with to which I'm going to invest in a portable dehumidifier to bring down the moisture in the air. I had to defoliate as it was getting really bushy and the fan was struggling to get air through the fan leaves. I cannot believe the RR, started off as the most finicky plant from germination and now it's the tallest f***er of the 4. She has shot up! I looked at the yellow tips on the leaves and apparently it's a lack of Iron. I read that Iron deficiency can be left to work itself out typically if it's not severe. Usually after a few days after the leaves are left to expand the yellow disappears and they turn a nice fresh green colour. The smell in here is fantastic! Five days gave her Overdrive💪💪 , and the last two days - already started with flushing with Flawless 💦 The buds became STONE 🗿🗿 The most of the trichomes became MILKY 😍😍 The smell has intensified 👃 All the time before this week I felt a SOUR 🍋🍏 smell, and literally, this week I felt that a VERY SWEET 🍓 aroma was added, and sour and sweet mixed in a FRUITY mix 🍌🍊🍇🍋 The last two days the baby has become ALL SUGAR 🤤🤤, just like a very sweet candy. Just a VERY-VERY SWEET 😁😁 The final week is ahead - the week of flushing 💦💦

Die Black Cherries vom Super Sativa Seed Club zeigen sich robust und widerstandsfähig, genau wie mein Optimismus! Blumat-Erweiterung 💧 Ich habe mein Bewässerungssystem aufgestockt und sechs zusätzliche kleine Blumat-Tropfer installiert, um auch die Oberfläche im Beet gleichmäßig feucht zu halten. - Vier Tropfer wurden direkt in die bestehenden Tropfringe integriert – so erhalten die Pflanzen Wasser von beiden Seiten. - Die restlichen Tropfer ergänzen das Setup rund um die Hauptwurzelbereiche. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich dieses doppelte Tropfsystem auswirkt – bislang sieht alles stabil aus. Astbruch – schnell reagiert

Caught up... things are going well, Bruce stretched like crazy and has evened up its canopy to the others idk if it's that big bud in it or what. Lilac has looked a solid week and half ahead of the others since flower, she looks wicked though, trichromes are starting to build. I've done my last training, I usually go hard on thinning but I'm trying to be conservative and only uncover buds under leaves. Still same feeding routine.. looking forward to the finish line but know this is an important time with terms and trichromes beginning to resonate... I sick at this guy's but I want to get better at chronicling my grows.. so hourly I will improve in the process of Journaling.

06/23/2020 Topped her to 5 main stems, gotta decide if I want to top again or stay with 5 colas? I have a couple days to think about it. If the #3 male is showing typical bud structure I be happy

Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Aug 2: Sunday Punch EV continues to be a great plant. Third week of 12 h darkness is now done and lots of nice buds are starting to form. The buds even have their first bit of frosting showing this morning. Quite hot today but it will cool off a bit tomorrow. Aug 3: started leaving plant outside again so back up to 15.5 h of daylight here now. Continuing to use far red light at dusk as a bloom booster. Aug 7: rained over the last few days. Have been shaking water from the colas to keep them dry to prevent bud rot. Some rain on young buds is fine and plants love the rain, but wet buds can cause bud rot. Have stopped using molasses now. Great for growing, but not for smoking, so avoid using in the last four weeks or so of flowering.
