After you found some good sector and clone it you let the mycelium grow and fill almost all the petri dish like I did last week. So now you're ready to move forward. Making grain spawn!🍄🍄 For grain you can use Organic Rye Berries, but you can also get away with wheat berries, or brown rice or even corn kernels(which I used myself) ! And you'll need some mason jars or honestly I used some jars that I had home just clean them very well and sterilise before using Making a grain spawn can be broken down into 6 easy steps. 🍄Hydrate Grain By Soaking 🍄Make Specialized Lids 🍄Simmer, Drain and Dry The Grain 🍄Sterilize 🍄Put your agar in the jar 🍄Colonize 🍄Soak the grain by placing it in a bucket, covering in water, and leaving it for 12 -24 hours. Easy. 🍄Drill 1 hole on top of the lid. Right in the center and cover with a small dab of high temperature silicone sealant, and leave it overnight to dry. And your jars are done. There other diff types for different methods like liquid culture etc. But I'm just going roughly through what Ive done. 🍄The next step is to simmer the grains on the stove. This will thoroughly hydrate the grains, and will soften them to make them easier for the mushroom mycelium to consume. Cook soaked grain on the stove for about 15 minutes. You don’t want to cook it too long, because eventually all the grain will crack and you’ll get some mushy grain spawn. We don't want that. 🧐After the grains have simmered on a low boil, you’ll need to drain them off. What I did is I drop them in the sink with the drain cover on. The grains will drain over an hour or so, after which you can go ahead and fill your jars. 🍄Once your jars are filled, they need to be sterilised.This kills off all the other nasty contaminants in the grain cover the lids in tinfoil (to prevent water dripping into the lid) and then just pressure sterilise them for about 90 minutes at 15 psi. 🍄After that let them cool down. Get your SAB, wipe down the walls with some alcohol wipes and place the jars inside. And wait untill they will be warm to the touch... not hot and painful 😤patience is key. Bring in your plates that had been stored by you in a dark place. And what u have to do is sterilise your scalpel and just accurately and efficiently decide your mycelium into about 10 pieces and quickly place them in your jar. And complete for every jar u make. You have to be very quick. The more you keep you're jar and your agar plates lids open the more cans they will get contaminated. There certain technics you can see online.. 🍄Ones you're done close all your jars lids tight and Jake your jar so the mycelium pieces will mix around the jar and place them in the dark place to colonize. And just keep waiting... 😅 Untill the mycelium will conquer your grain. Keep your eyes on the jars, any weird smells or colour during the waiting time.. because that would mean you got a contamination going on. Oh yeah and when about 55% of your jar is filled with mycilium shake the sh*t out of it so it will break the mycilium inside and make spread more faster.

- End of week 5 I topped them and they seem to react very well to it. Looking nice healthy and green , exept for the blue zushi on the right. It's growing really weird, but it seems to keep up with the other plants. I don't know if i will put it into flower. The 2 blueberry cupcake ( back row) on the right, are bigger then the rest. I bend one of them so it will be more even . Most of the plants have a different structure. They are f1 seeds , So there's a good chance you'll have different phenotypes Now i will train them a litte untill they are big enough, and then place a trellis net.

Blackberry Moonrocks is building some nuggets! They are looking extremely frosty! Starting to show some purple hues which is very pretty. Here's what I did this week. I used Ecothrive dry amendments to replnish the soil. I did the top dressing on 12.9.25. It consisted of the following amendments; 💚 1/2 TBSP Bloom 💚 1/2 TBSP Life Cycle 💚 1/2 TBSP Diatomaceous Earth I watered the top dress in with 3.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 2ml Trace 💜 2ml Flourish PH: 6. 5 PPM: 335 16.9.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with; 💜 2ml Trace 💜 2ml Flourish PH: 6.4 PPM: 558 I'm keeping her hydrated. The lighting could certainly be better, but it is what it is. The plants just were totally different sizes, so this next run, plants are planted around the same time due to this issue. The newest run I am implementing is a SOG again, as that worked best. The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Not a while lot to report on this week. plants are growing well. add in some BTi from a mosquito dunk and will apply some more next week. Plant number 3 Yellow is the most crystaly out of the three and the strongest grower. It also had the highest PH when I checked the other week. IDK if this if anything, I would think it would be doing the worst given its close border to PH lockout. Plants are nice and smell now too. All the little cuttings I took I forgot about and they died, But the clones that where rooted and chilling outside are mostly good. The clones of plant #1 Blue are dead, but plants #2 and #3 aka Red and Yellow are doing just fine. Starting to get all my deck ready for this seasons grow. I think I will be trying out a good amount of Autos outside, Hopefully they won't mine the soil mix as its been to much in the past. We will see how they do. Also prepareing a little how to guide for m0uses haus of projects. Styrofoam planters. Pulled a few fan leaves, had a house inspection so I had to move them all outside , they went from 26°c to -2°C for ten hours they also had their dark cycle interrupted during the course of moving them. The smell is very strong now from all 6 pheno

The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!
