2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Outdoor plants can easily reach heights of 150-200cm, and yields of 500-600g per plant. The taste of Power Plant XL can be described as a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavours, with subtle hints of pine tree in the background. Smokers who appreciate a very strong and uplifting Sativa high will be more than satisfied with the effects. One will experience feelings of euphoria that are definitely intense and uplifting, typical for a South African Sativa like this. The up-high can also evolve into being more relaxed, especially when larger quantities are being consumed. Some people suspect Power Plant to be grown in large commercial operations around the world. It doesn’t really matter if these assumptions are the truth or myths, but Zambeza’s breeders are very proud to bring this highly productive legend back to live. Whorled Phyllotaxy-Hawaiian Snow auto Outside 2026- @GanjaFarmer 5/31-6/6 W4F1 Hawaiian Snow Auto loves our weather. This week it’s been in the upper 70s to mid-80s with some rain, so I watered once on 6/4 using our well water on my outside gardens. She started flowering this week and had a big stretch of 7 inches. She is now 21 inches tall. I hope she stays manageable since she is supposed to be tall, which is unusual for an autoflower. I had a difficult time with my last group that exceeded 90 inches. She has good node separation, giving space around the buds for air flow. She should tolerate our hot and humid weather since she is 95% sativa and test how well she demonstrates mold and disease resistance. Her growth pattern continues to have 3 bud sites at each node. At the first 2 nodes the shoots were even but on the third node, the shoots started to stagger. Growth period is 10-12 weeks for Hawaiian Snow. Given that the buds are just forming, I expect harvest mid to late August. Stay green, growers love 💚🌿 💫Natrona💫

Another very happy week around here with my girls getting fat, showing their potential. I kept the amount of fertilizer at 6ml per liter and the temperature inside the greenhouse continues without interfering the evolution. Very happy, satisfied with the results so far

81th TOTAL GROW DAY, 40th BLOOMING DAY: Flushed suddenly down to 0,4, alternating with pure RO water, 0,03 or so. Dealing with a hot summer can't keep lower temps, sure there'd be more colours if temps were decreasing... But no complains at all, it's a fruity- skunky breath in the air.

Der Grow lief finde ich sehr gut, auch beim ernten sah man wie sehr lila/rot es teilweise bei den Buds. Das war letztendlich genau was ich wollte. Nächste Sorte wird Lemon Haze :)

Day 65 - Pics/Vids..... Everything looks good......stress bent them into position and defoliated ..... lots of flowering now..... ..... hadn't actually measured them for awhile, and updated the height, 44 cm .... tested out the lights higher, 40cm away, and seemed to slow down growth... so moved em back, 20-25cm... watering is the same, bottom saucer feeding, 850-1000 ppm dutch master one flower 5-8ml/lt.... actually using about 12-15ml / 1.8l....... Day 70 (10 wks) - Pulled em both out of tent, flushed em and trimmed em abit, took some pics/vids in the sunshine. ...... the soil started smelling bad, - stale, moldy, damp, soil smell..... so i did a full flush out on both.... noticed afew gnats, been afew since the start, but haven't really been many.... i'm going to try out a UV bulb, and also a usb uv led bug trap ..... just ordered them.... posted a pic of both... see if they are any good..... 😎

This week is another wet week with 72% humidity!! I am watching really closely for bud rot. And, I tend to get nervous and take a plant down too early when it rains so much. I can't really feed them any nutrients either because of all the rain. The good thing, however, is my skunk of doing really well considering the hail storm and broken stem it has had to endure. Miss Skunk has been brave and withstood the test of time. She has long, thin stems but she is packed with small buds and lots of resin! Royal Queen Seeds says, "Sweet Skunk Auto seeds produce plants that grow to a very manageable height of around 60–100cm, which translate to 40 inches. My Skunk is currently 36 inches!! Sweet Skunk Auto seeds are ready to harvest just 11–12 weeks after sprouting." So, I should be ready to take this down pretty soon.

Hey, diese Woche ist jetzt der 2. Monat für die Großen Pflanzen und ihnen geht es gut. Hat sich nicht viel verändert außer das die Buds langsam großer werden. Sie haben schon ca. vor einer Woche mit dem strecken aufgehört. Ich geben ihnen momentan ca. 2l Wasser aller 3-4 Tage. Ich habe auch ein paar mehr Bilder gemacht zum besser betrachten 🔍. Ich denke die beiden Purple Punch werden ca. in 2-3 Wochen fertig sein aber das schaue ich mit dem Mikroskop wie die Trichome aussehen 🤔, die anderen brauchen sicherlich noch 4-6 Wochen wenn nicht sogar noch länger aber das ist kein Problem sie können sich ruhig Zeit lassen 🧑🏽‍🌾. Die 4 neuen Pflanzen 🌱 wachsen sehr gut und schnell, sind jetzt knapp 2 Wochen alt. Ihnen gebe ich nur 1l normales Wasser (pH:6,7), ich denke in ca 1-2 Wochen kann ich das erste Training beginnen. JUL 15- so she needs some defoliation and some general maintenance because she is starting to lean over, but im out of town for another week. She had some nutes given to her this week. Also, her trichombes are very frosty this girl puts out alot of zap. The one in front is a Mexican Sativa strain which I set to flower a day after her. Also have some Habaneros in the Tent they are awesome they love the Nutes

As you can see this poor girl had a hard night last week but we are happy to say that she survived it. We did have to top most of the branches because they had died off but she is recovering very well. This is going to be a bushy plant and we look forward to seeing her bloom, at the moment we are sorting out placement of all of our ladies! It is soon time and we are very excited! Once we transplant all feeding info will be recorded, it’s been a muddled winter season to say the least!

Welcome to week 8! She’s still looking great and healthy. It seems that she’s still making some height but slowly also the buds getting bigger and bigger from day to day. At end of week 8 I probably have to adjust some branches to give them more light disposal and maybe doing some light defoliation. I’m still very happy with this strain and also with the performance of the growbox. Can’t wait to see how she’s producing nice, dense and thick buds

Notes to follow shortly, just trying to get all the pictures up and organized !!! So on this week , the buds are fully recovered, just about ready to be chopped down ! There are some brown tips and discoloration in the leaves but that was all on purpose . I overly increased the air movement, as a result some of the leaves got some wind burn . Not an issue it will just add to the magic of the smoke . ***************************************** My White Powdery Mold solution: 1) spray Diablo nutrients Monster Wash. 2) Add a certified HEPA filter to your grow area. 3) Increase airflow, even if the plant is getting alot of wind , at this point, the positive greatly outweighs the negative. 4) PRAY 🙏 lol even if your not religious! 5) Cut off all nutrients, do this just in case you do have to do a cut down quickly that at least at the very least what is good will be white burning and flush properly. 6) Raise the PH of your soil ( via water that is above 7.0ph) I believe I got very lucky on this one just due to my ability to recognize and diagnose problems. I was not done alone it was done with the advice of mentors the years of listening the amazing nutrients I use. Last but very not least the incredible genetics of exotic seeds. Without: Diablo nutrients + Exotic seeds I would have been in a way worse situation. 🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. What you get instead is: • speed • control over height • uniform canopy • faster turnover But also: • smaller overall plant size • less room for recovery from stress • everything happens quicker, so mistakes show faster It’s a different rhythm — not better, not worse — just a different way to grow. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Looking ahead: You should expect: • pistils continuing to multiply • buds starting to stack and swell more aggressively • resin production increasing noticeably • aromas becoming stronger and more defined What not to expect (yet): • no major calyx swelling peak yet • no heavy pistil browning yet • no final density — we’re still building We’re still in that “construction phase”, not the finishing stage. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude As always — thank you. Zeit für den Endspurt Neun Wochen liegen inzwischen hinter uns – und das Ende lässt sich förmlich riechen. Fünf Wochen Blütezeit sind geschafft, und die Ladys zeigen sich weiterhin von ihrer besten Seite. Die wohl größte Veränderung in dieser Woche ist, dass meine kleine Nachzüglerin das Zelt verlassen hat. Sie steht nun überdacht im Außenbereich. Die Entscheidung fiel mir nicht schwer, da sie im Vergleich zu den anderen deutlich hinterherhinkt und schlichtweg nicht denselben Nährstoffbedarf hat. Durch ihren Auszug konnte ich sowohl die Transpiration als auch die Wärmeentwicklung im Zelt etwas reduzieren. Der Fokus liegt nun ganz klar auf den verbleibenden drei Pflanzen – und wer weiß, vielleicht holt die Nachzüglerin am Ende draußen doch noch etwas auf, wenn der Rest bereits geerntet ist. Ernährungstechnisch blieb in der fünften Blütewoche alles beim Alten. Die Nährstoffzufuhr habe ich bewusst konstant gehalten. Für die kommende Woche ist allerdings eine gezielte Mischung mit PK 13/14 geplant, um die Blütenbildung weiter zu pushen und das Maximum aus der Reifephase herauszuholen. Die Entwicklung der Pflanzen ist weiterhin tadellos. Alle Werte – sei es Luftfeuchtigkeit, Temperatur, VPD oder pH-Wert – sind stabil und genau dort, wo sie sein sollen. Diese Konstanz in der Umgebung macht sich sichtbar bezahlt. Im Zelt liegt ein intensiver, süßlicher Duft in der Luft, der stark an Zitrone und Beeren erinnert – ein echter Vorgeschmack auf das, was kommt. Die Buds entwickeln sich sichtbar weiter, werden dichter, harziger und formen sich immer klarer aus. Besonders auffällig ist der dichte Überzug aus Trichomen, der die Blüten in ein frostiges Kleid hüllt. Beim Berühren bleiben die Finger regelrecht kleben – ein deutliches Zeichen dafür, dass sich hier eine Menge Potenzial an Geschmack und Wirkung aufbaut. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen bleibt: Durch den begrenzten Platz mit ursprünglich vier Pflanzen musste ich in Sachen Lichtverteilung und Luftzirkulation kleine Einbußen hinnehmen. Das wird sich vermutlich leicht auf die Budgröße auswirken. Dennoch bin ich mehr als zufrieden mit dem, was sich hier abzeichnet. Die letzten Wochen des Grows sind angebrochen – das Ende rückt näher, der Anfang liegt längst zurück. Ich freue mich riesig auf das, was noch kommt, und bin sehr gespannt, welche Masse und Qualität die Buds am Ende erreichen werden.
