Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! 10 /11 Weeks Flower¬¬ It's going to be a long flowering phase! 18/01/2024 Performed a mid-day clean using hydrogen peroxide Moved Spicy Temp to the flower tent Noted that the temperatures are a little high Searching for a new, large heatsink for the CropMaster Pro 1000 to resemble the SK600. Considering modifications to the CropMaster's heatsink as it is currently equipped with a 12-watt fan driver, PC fans, and connected to the LED mains power. It still works well, but planning to replace some LEDs once this grow is completed. Fed 200ml of organic random feed to 5 plants Discovered a sprouted seedling beneath the Forgotten Haze and relocated it to the veg tent 19/01/2024 Noted the arrival of the flowers 20/01/2024 Conducted a mid-day photoshoot Started using natural fertilizer as flowering has commenced, applied 150ml for every 5 liters of water 20-01-2024 Recorded a video of the pre-flowering stage, indicating anticipation of a substantial yield 20/01/2024 Performed defoliation before the onset of substantial flowering and cleaned up the lower growth Implemented SCROG (Screen of Green) 22/01/2024 Recorded a video of the pre-flowering stage 23/01/2024 No major changes, just observing more leaves and flowers 23/01/2024 Trimmed off the small undergrowth shoots Missed a few of the lower growth shoots 24/01/2024 Gently stretched the plant within the SCROG setup I'm aware that I need to reposition the pot more to the left to ensure the plants stretch evenly from both sides, but honestly, I'm feeling a bit lazy to do it tonight. It can't be a calcium deficiency since I have been feeding 6ml of calcium to 5 liters of water. The only difference was the proximity of the light.

Fruity Pebbles autoflower in the blue planet is growing really well. She has put in a good stretching and is starting to stack. She is eating and drinking a lot. Every thing is going good at the moment. It was a perfect grow. The plant is ready and its 2 days before harvest. She will be potent, i cant wait to smoke her. I am happy that i had no problem with her.

The smell is really amazing this is the real deal, this plant smells like candy for real. i cannot stop smelling it when i come in the room. i almost don't believe it so good it smells. I'm really looking forward to this one 😀

Eventful week for the girls... threw in another 95w LED to finish out flower and to grow an extra plant or two next run. Checked the trics on the leftmost plant and they were almost all cloudy and even starting to turn amber in a couple spots, so I decided it was time to chop her. Probably gonna take the other smaller plant down soon as well. The tallest plant is still looking larfy as hell but I'm hoping she'll thicken up a little over the next week or two.

Wonderful harvest! Plants were very dense and frosty and smell was super strong. I made sure to wear gloves so my hands weren't sticky the rest of the day. Very happy with this strain, it seemed to produce quite a bit of dense frosty bud. Nice deep purple leaves at the end. Will update with a smoke report after a 6 day dry, 30 day cure in my Cannatrol.

more later 3rd Apr, today is day of two Amnesias - its time. they are on peak trichoms are milky 10% amber. Zkittles is on grotek final flush strawberry I trying if it change her smell and she is good now, but I fed her week ago with rocket fuel some fertilizers for peppers (11-6-8) coz im was out with bloom fertilizer, Amnesia 3 get this feed too but little bit improvemed with bio grow and rest of biobloom, yesterday I bought Powder Feeding PK booster/mineral and thats should be good. More later after some smoke :D
