THIS NEW LIGHT IS UNBRANDED, WEIRD AND THE EBAY SELLER SOUNDS LIKE HES JUST DROP SHIPPING THEM AS THEY DONT SELL THE DAISY CHAIN BUT THIS THING LOOKS TO BE DOING A WAY BETTER THAN EXPECTED JOB AS LONG AS YOU GROW 2 PLANTS ONLY AND IN 3 GALLON POTS MAX. IM USING FOX FARM BIG BLOOM. I CAREFULLY STICK MY FINGER IN DIRT ABOUT AN INCH OR 2 TO DETERMINE IF NEEDS WATER. 4 CUPS OF WATER FROM MY WELL AND ABOUT EVERY 2 WEEKS I SPLASH AN EMERIL LEGASSI BAM OF BIG BLOOM. IM PROBABLY USING WAY MORE FERTILIZER THAN I SHOULD BUT IT LOOKS GOOD SO IM GOING WITH IT. BASICALLY JUST ENOUGH TO COVER THE BOTTOM OF A 4 CUP MEASURING CUP. THE THING I DIDNT REALIZE ABOUT BIG BLOOM FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS UP UNTIL ABOUT A WEEK AGO IS, YOU HAVE TO SHAKE UP THE FREAKING BOTTLE BEFORE YOU USE IT. I JUST CHECKED IT, IT SAYS SHAKE WELL. SO IM SHAKING THE BOTTLE NOW AND IM PRETTY PROUD ABOUT THE WHOLE FUCKING THING. I HAVE WATCHED HOURS OF VIDEOS AND READ ARTICLES AND ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE DOING DIFFERENT THINGS AND I CANT DO THEM ALL BUT ORDERED CHEAP PH METER FOR SOIL AND WATER SO I CAN FILL IN THE BLANK AND MAYBE FIND OUT ANOTHER PIECE OF THE PUZZLE. JUST AM A LITTLE AFRAID TO TRY ANY NEW TRICKS AS IT SEEMS TO BE GOING OK. THE REASON IM ONLY GROWING CRITICAL PURPLE? ITS LEGAL WHERE I LIVE BUT THEY DONT SELL SHIT LIKE THIS STUFF. YOU HAVE TO HONESTLY HAVE WHATEVER SUPPLIES YOU MAY NEED FOR A COUPLE HOURS CLOSE BY AS ITS A LITTLE TRIPPY. NO MATTER HOW BIG THE BUDS END UP, SMOKING THE BEST SHIT OF YOUR LIFE AND KNOWING YOU GREW IT YOURSELF IS AN OUT OF BODY LEVEL EXPERIENCE. I RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY. NO PUN INTENDED.

Harvested 2 of 8 plants today. 90% or more trichomes were white with a few amber here or there. All pistils brown on the 2. 2 more plants should be ready within 2 days. The others are still a week out.

Wassuuuup my dudes 21 days into flowering and the results from the lst and defoliation are showing up. Multiple healthy tops and even the small nodes under the canopy are growing bigger, if all goes well I won’t have many popcorn nugs but I’ll have just big buds (let’s hope) I guess this also means they won’t stretch much more but I think some more height would be good for yield, anyway, can’t complain for the 1st grow and this is a process, there are no perfect grows! This week was also a week to add some more nutrients (the plagron) and it’s working very well for now! Let’s wait for the next few weeks, can’t wait to see the fatty buds 😂 Tell me what you think!

Three weeks in and he’s looking great!

Water week6/1

On the first day of week 4 I did FIM on the plant at 6 node. Up to this point the plant has been growing very strong and healthy almost as fast as Autos I have grow before. Day 22 the plant doesn't seem stressed out at all and in fact is pumping New Growth right away I thought it was going to be sad for a day or two but no way the genetics are very strong the plant is very vigorous . Day 24 I did some minor defoliation to allow the light to penetrate everywhere in the plant as well it looks like the fim work perfectly and it started to develop 4 new grow on top of the plant. Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. I took some video and some Pictures. I have two plants in the other tent that are finishing up. Chopping one of them down today and the other one still have like a week , I will make the decision to chop her early or wait sometime today I giess, I let my lady’s tell me when they wanna be chopped. So I will update yall and the first harvest diarie. They were stunted by my errors but , we had a split harvest 2 of them got chopped whole back. And these two we just wanted to see them through if we could get them to bounce back. Well they bounced back! They are big now and a lot more dense compared to the first two. But they were alil smaller plants. The effects were top notch though. Still just ph correct water . For the babies.

Big time stretching and flower growth. Did another decent defoliation. These Forbidden runtz have very dense foliage. Was wondering if I needed a second net. I'm glad I got it. If you count the vertical portion of the plant stem we are at roughly 30" total growth so far. #1 is acting slow, prob due to heavy defoliating. I will let her run course at her own pace. It is what it is at this point. Learning thru doing is the best way to learn imho. Wonder full week. Targeted #s were ec 1.6-1.7 and ph 6.0-6.2

Moved the plants to their final home in my 4 site RDWC system. This system has much more advanced equipment and the plants perked up before the end of the first day in their new system. Even after I had to detangle the roots to get them out of their last site. I have started the lighting at about 50% of the max and plan to bring it up slowly. I also added 10 gallons (about 35% of the total system volume including the res) of of bloom nutrient solution to some of what they were already drinking in veg to ease them into it. I am officially flipping them three days after transplant but we will call this flowering week one.

09 October 2018 - Day 106 Crystal was trimmed and nugs left for a week to fill out. 10 October 2018 - Day 107 pH good 11 October - 2018 - Day 108 Kolas are dense and thick 12 October 2018 - Day 109 Removed from Tent and hung. 13 October 2018 - Day 110 Drying nicely , Humidifier added . 14 October 2018 - Day 111 Further trimmed and added to discs for overall ventilation 15 October 2018 Day 112 Rotating Tiers to make sure we dry evenly

Nothing peculiar so far, just buds getting bigger ✨ ✨ lots of flowers on two of the girls so my expectations are getting higher, let's hope for a big harvest 🤞🏻

The girls grew 10 cm during the first week of flowering ... So far everything is going well and I am happy to see them 🍃🍃🍃
