During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities. flowering stage week 4 everything is OK

02/11/2020 Update a day early, but I think it's going well she grew 3/4 of an inch this week, now she at 1 3/4 inches and first node is here got a little video to upload photos next. Cool! Week 3 starting off strong No nuts just yet still letting the Nector of the gods and FF soil just be my main base for nuts. Also I add some cal mag and PH balance the water. I will probably start adding some noots toward the end of the week when I start seeing some more growth. Starting to see the preflower and one of 3 is asymmetrical... worried it might turn out to be a hermaphrodite plant. Also scared to bend the stem to lst, don’t wanna snap it. Any tips on how to start lst with main stem foolproof much appreciated 😅 Should I let them dry out a little more then usual when bending or it’s not going to soften the stem? Should I counteract the top tension point of the bend with one on the bottom for support and do it gradually every day?

Growing medical marijuana has been such an amazing outlet for me. And I think that I would be in a much much worse place without having in my life as far as cultivating goes. I have formal education in horticulture specialist, however marijuana is so resilient and so strong and so willing and ready to live. But I plan to take it to its limits

Grow is coming along well, though the Black Devil is still lagging behind IMO. I think the strain maybe isn't too impressed with being Main-Lined? Either way she's hungry so I gave her some bokashi, clover leaf trim and worm castings. Next week is main dry amendment feeding so the girls will get everything they need. Couple more weeks and the Northern light should make it's way around the entire pot, then if it's tall enough, I'm putting them into flower. Some weird shit on the microscope today; videos above.

Trichomes are almost cloudy. The smell is pungent as she ripens. Bulked up this week and the hairs are darkening brown. I don't see any fade but as soon as those trichomes hit 10-20% amber, that's a wrap for this lady. Overall a nice strain to grow from Original Sensible Seeds. Genetics are strong with vigorous growth and she took very well to topping. The only real problem that I faced was that I ran out of the ph down that I use so I picked up some Root Farm ph down which I don't recommend using because the ppm was 980 with just water. I calibrated my meter and the reading was 978 ppm. I'm not sure if this is straight acid or piss in a bottle but wtf? Well a grower pointed out nute burn so I then checked the ppm and wowsers it was over 3000 ppm. Quickly rectified with a flush and back in business with Root Farm no more lol yeah I got complacent down the stretch not checking the runoff but lesson learned.
