Week3 of Flower day 21

While I was very happy with the grow at harvest time, I am a bit disappointed with only 190 grams total dry weight from these two plants. The buds are nice, dense and packed with tricomes, the smoke is smooth and the high is clear.

I did not now the weight of how much dry or wet flower I have because I decided to freeze right away all of the flower and after 24 hours in the fridge I created bubble hash unfortunately I only took pictures of the first batch total amount 58.6 grams of bubble hash of excellent quality despite treating this plant really badly it give me a very abundant flower With incredible density

Hello Diary, The fourth week of flowering is over and we are slowly heading towards the end. Last week I did defoliation, so now there is better air flow through the whole plant. Purple Punch looks great, some leaves take on a yellowish color which are the first signs that its end is near. The flowers themselves fill very nicely and become larger and larger and are full of trichomes. As you can see in the photos, Purple Punch has a nice shape, good leaf color, the scent is intense, it’s just all great and I’m looking forward to the harvest. Although there are two Purple Punch on the Farm, I didn’t do photos of both plants this time but I promise to show both in the end. In one watering I added Biobizz and that was the last addition of nutrients for her. From now on just flushing. Conditions in the growbox are good, the temperature varies around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Now comes the stage when I start observing the development of trichomes through a microscope, it’s a special experience for me, like I’m looking at something from another planet. Here's a brief overview of the week: 11/03/2021 - Day 44. Watering. I didn’t add any nutrients, I just lowered p.H. water at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 36% humidity. 13/03/2021 - Day 46. Watering. p.H. I downgraded to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the current week. This will be the last addition of nutrients. From now on only clean water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26 degrees and 39% humidity. 16/03/2021 - Day 49. Week 11 (03/28/22 - 04/03/22)

Going to do a major defoliation soon now that the final reach is over.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was a good week for the ladies, all the toppings are complete, and now I am just focusing on some LST to try and keep all 8 tops level on all the ladies. Today is day 42 and I just removed the milk crates that all of the ladies were sitting on to give them more vertical space. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Not to bad for the first week of flower, the excitement is definitely building, as they are starting to reach, I changed bucket size to 25 lts from 20 due the the amount of water she's taking in. last 17 lts before I will change the nutes to full flower ratio.

58 days of flowering: I started cutting the most mature apicals 42/57. I will wait for the remaining 7-14 days. first 42: 370.5g

Smooth sailing! Buds are getting dense, you can notice them getting ready for harvest. She's got that trichome production going but these cookies aren't done yet...

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain.
