DAY 28 : Hi all , hope your past week has been a positive one with lots of love and affection. I am at the point now where flowering should be starting to show throughout the plants usually. Their are many tiny white pistil hairs showing their female genetics across the bracts of them all now so it looks like flowering has begun !!!! The FC3000 has really given them plenty of light on their perfect spectrum to develop those nice fat fan leaves and now will no doubt take them through a great flowering period. It doesnt produce much heat at all and you can touch it for a while and still not feel too much heat. Ideal for stealthy gardens.. The Tip Spreading has been continued up to this point and it is clear to see how it works on keeping the heights down. By using additional l.s.t that wont slow growth down like the leaf tucking and threading the growing tips above the larger fan leaves that are still being used like solar factories producing copious amounts of food for the developing growth tips. The stems on the majority are nice and thick from the close stacking of the nodes and their is very little popcorn to remove from lower down. I will be keeping them all as open as I can now that we are going into the stretch periods pre flower. The potential is there now to create very chunky bud stacks but I think the Strawberry Pie have ideas of bursting out more . ! They are certainly all a lot more happy than the bonsai Mexican that has emerged in #1. Still very short and half the size ( or less!) than her sister in the next bed. She looks happy and healthy now but her initial shock at the soils make up had a negative impact very early on. Overall it has been a good week for their tip spreading l.s.t and setting them up for flowering and I hope that our next update will be the bud porn early stages. Be well and prosperous growmies

Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Trimming started on day 11 of drying an took roughly 5 hours to complete. The yield was 644 of dried flower and another 8 grams of dry sift from the trim bin. I pressed 6 oz into flower rosin with about 20 percent yield with a total of 35g of rosin.

Really love the smell, one plant yielded about 5oz the other about 3. As far as I can tell the herb from either is as good. Yeah an award winner for sure. Wow what a taste✌️🏻🤤✌️🏻 Update. 2 plants grown, 1 was better but both very good. From the better plant, 5 people to date who I have let sample excellent quality dried and cured buds of Zombie Kush have all reported to me that it’s the best herb they’ve ever tried😉😂😍😍😍😍😍😍 I was smoking it outside a Wailers concert this week also and about 3 people there couldn’t help but compliment on the smell. This stuff really is top quality and I could truly smoke it 24/7

No problems this week, flipped her to 12/12 and I took a clone. Did a little defoliation. She's got a whole space filled with runtz to flower with so I'm super excited

Week 4 Update: Plant Growth: Noticed some plants lagging behind by 5-9 days, so I've been focusing on giving extra care to these ones. Implemented Low Stress Training (LST) on the stronger plants, particularly the Gorilla Glue and Gelato varieties, to encourage more even growth. Weather has been a mixed bag – occasional bursts of sunlight, but mostly rainy days. To compensate, I've set up a makeshift box with LED lights to ensure the plants get consistent light exposure. Nutrient Management: Adjusted feeding schedule to once every 2-3 days to provide a balanced mix of nutrients. Using a combination of guano, worm tea, and Grow NPK Autogrow mix to feed the plants, which seems to be working well so far. Considering adding Cal-Mag to the mix to ensure the plants are getting all the nutrients they need for healthy growth. Observations: Despite my efforts, I can't shake the feeling that some of the plants might be experiencing slower growth than expected. It's a bit frustrating, but I'm staying patient and hopeful that they'll catch up soon. Looking Ahead: As I prepare for the next batch of seeds, I'm already thinking about the lessons I've learned from this experience and how I can apply them to future grows. Despite the challenges, I'm feeling optimistic about the future and looking forward to seeing how these plants continue to develop in the coming weeks.

The trichomes towards the end of this week had started to go slightly cloudy so I decided not to feed and to start the flushing process instead. I flushed the medium with a couple of litres of water per plant until I got a good amount of run off. I think I may have not back off the nuets enough on the few last feeds as the majority of the leafs on all 4 plants are still quiet dark green in colour with no yellowing. I did a good amount of defoliation at the start of week to try and get as much light to the lower areas as possible. The buds are still developing ok I think they feel dense, they won’t be massive buds but I am hopeful for a decent yield overall. The smell is strong but the carbon filter is working great. Happy growing so far 🤞🏻
