The floral note does a good job of providing some balance to the strain’s pungent quality. Either way, cannabis connoisseurs hold Afghan’s aroma in high regard. The herb's scent translates well to its flavor. Just as its smell suggests, a sweet, musky taste greets smokers on inhaling. It also leaves a spicy herbal aftertaste that sticks on the tongue and lips on exhale.EffectsBeing a pure Indica strain, users can expect to get walloped by Afghan's full-on body high. It is a powerful sedative that will make users feel relaxed, which makes it a perfect strain after a long day at work. A few hits are more than enough to give a 2 to 3-hour-long couch-lock that will eventually result in a profound snooze.Cannabis enthusiasts laud the weed's ability to give a heavy, numbing physical buzz. It allows them ample time to relax and forget about the woes of life. Tokers will also feel a sense of euphoria and happiness, a gift from the joint's high THC volume. It's more than a product of natural selection. Without human intervention over the past several hundred years, most cannabis landraces wouldn't be much better than Ruderalis. The more likely truth is that most cannabis landraces cultivated for consumption have been genetically guided by humans, but in the presence of wild or more likely, feral, plants that are pushed by the environment and not humans. So landrace cannabis was developed both with pressure from the environment AND humans. A landrace may not be as uniform in phenos as modern hybrids, but to say they aren't cultivated would be, for the most part, incorrect.
