Afghani winter

You can def see the weird deformed leaves good in these pics. The first few sets where weird af but like I said last week they have def turned the corner and seem to be on track now! Will transplant here this weekend.

Got them into the new pots, they have really turned around from the craziness that was the first week or so. They got. Their first good feeding and responded awesome. Leaves are rich green and huge! Can’t wait to see what the next few days bring.

Things are tanks now! Really took off the last week. Been responding good to feedings I am running cyco platinum series this go around. I’ve used it in the past and like the results, coming off emerald harvest last run I wasn’t disappointed but not impressed either so getting back to cyco will be nice. I bumped the light up to 50% and it’s putting out an average of 23,000 Lux around the tent and canopy. I’m really happy with that right now. The plants seem to be handling it well and in a few weeks I’ll crank it up some more. I’m also supplementing them with co2 as well. Look forward to updating the next few weeks and as always 🍻

Plants are doing awesome! Really bushy, snd the fan leaves are huge!! Have the feeding pumped up to full strength and we will see how the handle that. I want to pump the light up to 75% here shortly but giving them another week or so with the new feeding levels I don’t want to stress them out to much at once. Not really doing much lst I had my trellis in the tent a few weeks ago but took it out because with the new tent and new space I have to room to just see how the shake out. I did do good toppings on all of them. And will do a heavy defoliation to the lower sections here the next few weeks. Ideally if everything goes right I’ll veg another three weeks or so. Cranked the light up to 75% power yesterday it’s now putting out around 48k lux on average around the canopy. Will monitor how they ha for the change closely. Plants are huge! Been pretty successful in keeping them nice and bushy with just the light and just hand tucking things. Still need to do a good defoliation n the lower areas but just haven’t really seen the need honestly. Will probably veg another week or two and start thinking about switching to 12/12. Still vegging strong! Haha they are about the size I want before I flip. One of the center plants was a late germination and is a week behind I was trying to let it catch up in height and let it stretch out a bit more before I flipped but I’m getting close to just doing it. They are all really full and honestly massive haha it’s not usually my style to just let them grow and not do any defoliation but hey trying something new. I will at some point thin them out a bit. I will do a bit of bottom lollipoping before I flip for sure just to help with access for watering later on. Not much else to report, thanks for stopping by snd as always 🍻

Flipped to flower about four days ago. They are already pronouncing good snd starting to show signs of pistoling. Really happy with the size and how they filled in. They are really just bushy monsters. The photontek has been a workhorse and couldn’t be happier with it so far. Will update again soon and as always 🍻

Plants are just huge and full. Doing little bite of defoliation periodically to thin them out just a bit but honestly just letting em run wild haha. Plants are really healthy. The left side of the tent has def grown diff than the right which is interesting but not bad by any means. Looking great finally had time and I know it’s late to trim the bottoms out good. Plants are really happy and loving life so far. Changed out co2 bags the one I was running was past it’s life. Def seeing a change from it. Will update again soon. 🍻

Things are looking good. Couple of the plants are getting an awesome purple tint. Beautiful plants honestly glad that I just let them grow. Harvest is going to be a handful for sure but whatever it’ll be worth it. Still got a good month at minimum but excited to see what the week to week progress is the next few. Loving all the colors. Getting close! Few weeks out but really starting to fatten up and pack on some weight. Trichromes still really clear. The smell is amazing and the colors are beautiful. Really excited to see what last few weeks bring! 🍻

This was a really rewarding grow. Damn near six months of work and it really payed off. The strain is interesting and love that each plant has its own unique qualities. There are some things I’d change as far as defoliation and keeping the plant’s leaner. But all in all it was a fun strain to grow. The buds are super dense and frosty. The photontek light is a work horse and I didn’t even kick it to full strength until last month n half of flower. All in all it’s been fun and thanks for anyone who took the time to stop by.
