These Blueberry babies are doing great! The had another feeding this week (at the correct dilution this time) and I re-potted them the next day. I used Coast of Maine Bar Harbor blend potting soil that I've been using for years with good results. I color coordinated the new pots and strains so Blueberry is Purple. Got more leaves coming in so I'll have to pinch them soon. The weather here is still a little cool, 45F at night and 55-60F during the day. We had a couple cold, drizzly days and during those they were under the lights and on the heat mat which I bought down to 70F. Still going to be a little while before I can out them out and in the ground. Not much to report with these since they're so easy and carefree!

Due to the low yield and really fast veg time, I would avoid this strain until I master the nutrients I am giving the my plants. I only weighted the small plant which is 12g. The strain tastes so good and smooth. I love the quality of the smoke!

Upon the return of power, the DH48-S relay timer, which controls irrigation, failed again. This has happened for the third time in the last 4 months. Unfortunately, I couldn’t react immediately, so the ladies were without water again for a few hours. I’ve ordered a TrolMaster program device and additional sensors AMP-3 for pH, EC and humidity, and temperature control. No more messing around! Water consumption is gradually decreasing, and electrical conductivity of the water is slowly rising. I’m starting to reduce the strength of the nutrient solution. Very slow growing this week (even thought it was a long one as I was counting days wrong) but i think its entered flowering. Its definitely stretched a whole lot. Side branching is pretty nice on both plants so hopefully it'll be a decent yield considering the pot size. Gonna stick with 10 litre pots now. Adding in more bloom nutes seems to have helped clear up the spots so i'm grateful for that. Gonna keep feed at this level until the biobizz runs out in a week or two. Heat is still an issue as you can see from the leaves taking on the classic taco shape. I still have a small 4 inch inline fan that im not using, would that be better for temps than passive intake? But still, good progress considering it's pushed 40c a couple of times.

Welcome to week 4 For Enigma in this Seedsman Tiny & Rare pot contest. After a bad start to week 3 she recovered well. Today I have added an air hose into her pot. It's run by a 5v 1w usb pump, connected to a 5v 2w solar usb panel. Using this I have been able to test the effectiveness of the light at different angles and ranges. The pump runs at full power within 30cm of the light. From there it slows rapidly down to 70 where it stops completely. I need a better light. Day 23: I have reconfigured the tent. I replaced the solar panel with a plug as I need the air to run when light is off too. My idea here is that if you can DWC with airstones, maybe if I blow air to her roots she can handle being in a saturated medium, thus allowing me to ensure she always has nutrition available. If it works as I hope, I may be able to have her exceed the size she might otherwise achieve in this pot. I have refilled the pot with fertigate every time the bubbles stop. There is no way its evaporating this fast. She has now been totally saturated for at least the last 6 hours and no drooping. Day 24: Been a bit lazy topping up her liquid but I'm confident the air pump is working as intended. Day 25: Enigma is on day 2 of a little dry-out experiment. Day 25.5 Enigma was wilting, so I fertigated her until the pot was full and then topped her up again twice. Day 26: Drowned her. Whoops. Day 27: Let her get too dry. Whoops. This is not easy. Day 28: End of week 4. Enigma suffering. It's difficult to get a balance between sufficient nutes and moisture levels.

Hello, this week and the next ones will be peaceful. It's +-34 days of the girls' life. About 30 more days and we'll switch to flowering. The smell is delicious. I hope that the girls will also give me lush buds. Due to the use of new plant cultivation techniques, I have small concerns about growth, but I hope that my technique will work and I will base on it. (34 days of feminized seeds and the stem at the base has a circumference of 4.5 cm 😁. I should also start fertilization now, but it's already over. Lsd is 75 days old and 35 days in flowering stage. Lsd is looking great I feel like she is growing slowly if any have any ideas on if I’m doing anything wrong. Day 76 I feel so much better she is like great I used my iPad and I could not believe it I seen trichome with my own eyes 👀 wow it was amazing.

The Extrakush, the odd one out. What started out as a save because my third-party Barneys Farm seeds didn't germinate, this diary was supposed to be about their Runtz, but when dealers sell old seeds and replace those old with some even older seeds Expert seeds, fool me thrice.... So this was a shot in the dark, these were the only seeds I had available at the time, bought as a try out for the garden. A species designed for NW European climate. And she had, due to germination disasters, two weeks less of growing and she had a brother in the same pot, only removed in flowering. Still she filled out the entire tent and some space of her failing neighbour: the Gorilla. What a gem this strain is, look at those buds, look at her outperforming expensive seeds at a dollar a seed. Yes we still have to see some trichomes, yes she is mostly still hairy and not filled out yet but she is racing there. Let's hope on some quality smoke from this lady, for now, consider weedseeds.site as a place for quality strains. A couple of problems arose with my two newest grows so I thoroughly checked the compost pot and looked if the worms were okay. After harvesting the GDP, I wanted to throw out her soil. It had been used two runs and I have no place to reuse it outside. Did my best and sifted through the dirt looking for her worms. Found only six 😔. Four adults and two adolescents who were just getting their red color in. This was not a good sign. The worms were obviously not reproducing enough to keep up a colony, and that was most likely due to the soil ph. Don't have the instrument to measure it, but as my ph meter was broke the past two weeks.... 😅😅 Time to check in on the Vermicompost and see if they are still 'grinding'. ----------------------------------- April 17 Last picture I have of her soil structure. ----------------------------------- April 23 Took that thing apart!! It must have took 3 hours to sift through all the soil, rip up bark coco and what not. sift out the worms and keep them moist, but it was finished. I don't know how many worms there are but it's a good handful. About the same amount I put in there in the beginning. There were also perhaps 20 or so eggs that caught my eye. These are good signs! After the manhandled soil was put into an other pot, I drowned her with 12L of dechlorinated tapwater (thanks to Envi Chlorine Clear!!). BioDown to 6.3 ph + 0.2g/L Microbes. I don't know how many liters of water ran off, but that soil is definitely at 6.3 now... .. and the sewage pipes might be clogged 😅😇😂 Let the pot set to dry, at a tilt. Changed position every 5 minutes or so, about 2 hours long. Hopefully all the excess water is out! Introduced the Army of Wiggles to their new accommodations and said good night. There are probably still remnants of BioBizz nutrients in the soil, and I'm too lazy to flush again. Won't start her on the new microbial food until I'm sure the Living take hold of this environment. Coming from a possible 7.5 down to 6.3ph might be an adjustment.
