First week of florwering is over. They all already show pistills so induction was successful. I did a little defoliation to uncover bud sites and LST-d Strawberry Cough since it was much higher than the rest of the ladies. Now I do have even-ish canopy. CA$H and Mimozz are going superb. Cough is okay, not great, not bad. Grandpa's Cookies is a runt but I'll try to have at least some weed from this one also 💪

Dear diary, Week 5 completed and after a scare last week with magnesium deficiency, we were able to get it sorted and continue the mainlining. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 32: Gave a foliar of calmag water at 3.0ms 6.1ph during light off so it’s more gentle on the leaves followed by a regular feeding at 1.46ms 6.1ph. Still seeing some deteriorating continuing on lower leaves, so will get epsom salt tomorrow to really target magnesium and increase the calmag with 0.7ml/l in feeds going forward. ⏰ Day 33: Gave a foliar of epsom salt at 6.6g/liter(3.2EC 6.3ph)as lights went off but as I read more my ratios were off and I diluted the solution with 50% regular water. Regular feeding at 1.45ms 6.2ph was given at lights on. When inspecting the girls a few hours later they look a lot healthier already, so clearly magnesium was the issue. Will give them today to recover and if everything keeps looking good by tomorrow, I will do the next topping. If so I will have lost 5 days of progress due to the deficiency, but that’s the upside with photos I guess vs autos. ⏰ Day 34: Another foliar of epsom salt applied and feeding of 1.5l each at 1.56ms 5.8ph. A few hours later topping nr 2 done making it 4 tops each now and stripped the remaining growth. I did however leave the fan-leaves attached to the new top node and for W.C #1 I left another set of fan-leaves for an extra boost as she’s a bit behind. ⏰ Day 35: Did a quick check before lights off and they are praying and looking good considering the topping. Then I did a regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.5ph when lights went on. Still looking good and no continued signs of the magnesium issue. Lastly I removed the extra 2 fan-leaves I had left on WC #1 as her new tops are growing nicely and turned up the light slightly. ⏰ Day 36: Regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.6ph. Girls are looking healthy and enough has grown out that I can start tying down the 4 new mains. Will probably top them again in 1-2 days if everything progresses nicely. ⏰ Day 37: Foliar of epsom given just as lights turned off followed by regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.8ph when lights turned back on. ⏰ Day 38: Regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.9ph. Topping nr 3 was also done bringing it to 8 tops each and I will do the 4th and final topping as soon as the nodes have developed a bit more.

Day 64: Gave them nutrients today. My other 3 are now starting to explode with Pistils like my Purple Punch did a couple weeks ago. Day 65: Day 66: Purple Punch is so big, I can't even see the plant behind it lol. Day 67: Gave them nutrients. The tent is FILLING uppppppp. Day 68: Purple Punch nugs are noticeably fattening up lately. Day 69: Arrived at Trichome City. Day 70: Overall, this week was a long week. The closer these get to completion, it seems like time is slowing down for me! The anticipationnnnnnnnn.

I uploaded longer vids this time for the Vlogs, you don't have to watch em they're there for ya if you're interested :) ~Update~ To start off the girls look great, I'm excited that I'm back where I was when my "First Grow" failed. What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.

Was a bit worried in the first weeks of flower as the buds formed early but... i was left with the most densest of buds literally hard like arnie in his terminator days lol! I didn’t quite get the amount I expected but defiantly enough! Will defo grow again! After time went on she developed so much frost literally like diamonds 💎 Resistance was very strong on this one too and drank so much more than the rest had to be smart with watering! I’m the end the result was as intended can’t wait for the next couple of weeks for the flavour to really come out but as of now really reminds me of skittles as you can taste the sweetness but also that cake 🍰 comes right through too and this is before a full cure. Happy growing buddies I say this one is a top one to grow! Added a few photos since cure! These buds are dense and colorful and fruity! Tastes like it smells until you get a lovely bit of cake come through! Heaven! High is full body literally one point I felt it in my feet rose to my chest!

02/07 Nachdem wir in eine neue Woche starten, kann ich auch im Zelt wieder aufatmen. Die Temperaturen fallen, nachdem das Wetter in Regen umgeschlagen ist. die letzten Tage hatten wir bis zu 39°C draußen und dementsprechend musste ich die Lampe runter regeln und die Lüftung bis ans Limit arbeiten lassen. Phasenweise hatte ich 30,8°C im Zelt. Mittlerweile konnte ich die Lampe schon wieder etwas nach oben regeln und ich halte ungefähr 28°C. Heute gab es auch wieder eine kleine Ladung Eiswürfel. - - - - - - - - - - - - - 03/07 Heute gab es eine Ladung Dünger. Gemischt aus Wurmhumus und Herbi‘s Booster. - - - - - - - - - - - - - 05/07: Um das Purplen ein wenig zu unterstützen, habe ich heute eine Ladung Eiswürfel auf den Mulch gelegt. So triggert das kalte Wasser die Wurzeln und setzt im besten Fall die Anreize (durch die Produktion von Anthocyanen (pflanzliche Farbstoffe)), lila Blätter oder Blüten hervorzubringen.

Day 35, start of week 2 in flower, everything is going great so far✌️🏼🌱 Day 37 - All the ladies are looking great✌️🏼🌱 Day 38 - ladies got watered today, looking good & starting to put off a nice smell😍 Day 40 - Still have a lot of yellowing leaves towards the bottom of almost all the plants can’t figure out exactly what’s wrong😅😅

Day 70 Sorry, from now on i will update very little, i'm not doing soo much at this point, just keeping feeding. Tomorrow last big defoliation. Day 72 It's becoming pretty difficult to shoot photos in there.. i barely have space to add water to the buckets ( now 8 liters every day), added net for support and "constriction" of pinus because she's huge and was starting to trow shadow on the fresh pressed runtz.
