Just finished a close examination of the buds, this is without a doubt the cleanest smelling and strongest terpines of any LSD-25 we have grown. There is no harshness to it at all. Now it will make your nose run and give an odd high if you keep your head in the tent too long but that's a good thing 😇 I am convinced this is due to the organics as even those I grown with mixed organic/mineral fertilizers smelled bad.

Buds are getting denser, stickier and stinkier this week. Defoliated a few leaves from each plant throughout the week. Watered every 2 days with a 1/4 gallon to each. They got a mild compost tea beginning of the week to boost the microbial life and their final top dress towards the end of the week. The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

So this is actually week 9, going into week 10 now. Just a photo dump. I’m officially just watering at a ph of about 6.5/6.8 now. I went ahead and stripped larger leafs of to encourage last minute fattening of the buds hopefully. The smell isn’t really too bad but I am rather proud of how my first grow went. I did what some people recommended and grew in 1 gallon pots but I don’t recommend it to others. They’re for sure stunted and I feel they could’ve really benefitted from larger pots. But I’m still super happy with them!!! They’ve been a really easy plant and healthy as well.
