Rootball Reveal - Pineapple Chunk Reveg.

Hi Growmies, as I had a very good experience revegging (Monstercrop) my glookies from Barney’s last time, I am trying it this time with Barney’s pine apple chunk. 5 cuttings were taken from a 2 weeks flowering mother and directly placed in rockwool cubes. The strongest one will be chosen and eventually put in the DWC in the other tent.

hi growmies, good news, all cutting have rooted and are doing fine so far. will observe which will develop the best and discard or gift away the rest.

Hi growmies, I transplanted one of the clones into a net-pot, which sits on top of a 20l DWC with an ayirstone and a little pumper circulation and water disruption. This system will move into the little box, as soon as the Blue Mazar and Afghan have moved out. I have chosen the cutting that was the least down the lie in terms of flower and very stubbing from the beginning, as this one is transitioning back to Veg much quicker than the others. The cutting seems to like her new home, as she already starting to rot through the net pot.

Hi Growmies, I changed the cutting in the tank to one I still had in my other tent, as these were showing a lot more signs of a revegging plant compared to the one I had in the tank previously. I will top her very soon to stimulate a more lateral growth, before I will move her into the small box in roughly two weeks, once the Afghan is harvested and dried. I have also added a dripper as I suspected the lack of topwatering caused the old one to fail.

Hi growmies, Somehow I must have missed to update this diary last, my apologies for that…. As the Afghan was dried, she could finally move into her forever home. I have made some modifications to the box, compared to the last run. The biggest change is of course that it’s housing now a 20l DWC system, build from two euro containers. I have further installed a little Computer fan below the canopy and will probably install another one above the canopy. Last but not least, I installed a ScrOG, build from an old Coca-Cola fridge, that someone disgarded somewhere. Lates see how it will go this time.

Hi Growmies, She is developing super nicely and has now fully arrived in her monster cropped vegetative state, she will become a super bush ;) I’ll ScrOG her for another 15 – 20 cm and then I’ll flip her.

Hi Growmies, The plant is really sturdy and actually started stretching a bit more than before, as I have lifted the lamp a bit higher. I will give her max two more weeks to stretch under the screen and then I will flip her . Her rootball is also stretching and is starting to fill the reservoir. Hi Growmies, So far she is developing very nicely. Had someone from the community suggest plant success orca and Rezin to me, sp these were added for the next weeks feed to prepare the pre flower. The roots have started to nest themselves right above the airstone. As of now I think I’ll give her two more weeks and then flip her, as she is stretching a bit slower than I thought she would. Hi Growmies, She has been taking very well to the plant success Orca that I have been feeding her for the last 7 days. Root development just exploded. Since these results are quite impressive I will definitely include such a product in my feeding plans. She doesn’t really want to stretch properly, even with an elevated and dimmed light. So I decided to flip her yesterday and am expecting at least 15-20 cm stretch. The Rezin I started feeding has already shown it’s effect as well, with small trichomes starting to appear on the fan leaves already, long before pre-flower has even started. Gu Guys, she is continuing to develop as she should, however doesn't seem to be stretching all to much even with lower light intensities. I have therefore decided to push the ppfd to roughly 600 and let her finish her pre flower, no matter if she will fill the entire scrog or not. the roots are bit stained, however, this seems to be nutrient related, no slime or smelly roots thus far and it seems like she is constantly shooting out new ones from the net pot. She is going to be a nice little bonsai bush :)

Hi Growmies, She is developing nicely and still in her flower stretch, she also became a bit thirstier than before. The rootball is still growing at d looking pretty healthy, only a bit of staining from the Rhizotonic. The feeding regimen has not changed since last week. Hi Growmies, She continues to develop nicely. The rootball continues to expand and nested itself right above the airstone. She is very thirsty, finishing a good 10l over the course of 5 days. I have opened my last atami rockzbastic tester and added a ml per liter. Seems like the buds start stretching around the colas now, so pretty much half time +- a week.

Hi Growmies, Not much to report, other than that her buds are coming along very nicely, filling the colas and starting to cover herself in trichomes. She is extremely thirsty, finishing up to 1.8—2l a day. I fed her the last tester of rokzbastic and will afterwards go down with the nutes. Still defoliated slightly as I wanted to get the colas a bit separated for aeration and light penetration. Hi Growmies, She is continuing to swell similar to her clone mother. She is continuing to gulp up the nutrients, leaving me to almost having to change the reservoir every 5 days. Hi Growmies, This was her last week of heavy feeding. I have already decreased the nutes for the coming week and will probably start flushing her the week after. So that she should be finished by the end of the contest pretty much. Regardless of her age the rootball has shrunk only a little bit. I have also taken her out of the scrog to enable the canopy to open up further and allow more light penetration for the maturation of the buds. This worked actually very well, as the weight of the buds pull the plant open. Thanks for stepping by and until next week!

Hello Growmies, Just a quick update from my plant's world. I took her out of her usual spot today to give her a bit more space and a thorough inspection, particularly checking for any signs of mold. Happy to report, she's looking great – continuing to ripen and swell nicely. An exciting development: the first of her trichomes have started turning amber. This is a clear sign of her maturing beautifully. For her feeding regimen, I've switched to using only Canna Flush this week. Planning ahead, I will transition to RO water exclusively after this period. Her root ball is looking healthy and vigorous, which is always a good sign of her overall well-being. Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days.
