As of day 21, the Blackberry plant is doing well! It is growing vigorously and will need to be controlled as it increases in size. The FIM has already helped a little, but I have started some LST with the Atlas plant trainer to start making the canopy wide and flat. A few of the newest leaves have the very start of yellowing in their tips, so I think this plant is maxing out at 1.1-1.2 EC. I am going to keep it around 1ec for the rest of vegitative growth, as EC can drift upwards in the reservoir very slightly while the airstone is running. Runoff, PH, and other parameters are right where I want them! I have a new gallon of Calimagic coming, so I am switching back to it this week in preparation for early flowering. Outside of removing a few low growth tips that will never develop, I am going to try to leave as many leaves as possible. If this maxes out my humidity I will start taking a few lower leaves, and those that are too tightly squeezes in the center of the plant. Considering the plant's size as of day 24, I am hoping the flowering stretch isn't too strong or I will have to really work to contain this plant! Day 25: earliest signs of flowering. Day 26: runoff quantities were edging towards being too low as the plant has more foliage to transpire through, so watering adjusted to 5x per day, 15 second intervals. This is an increase from 60 seconds per day of watering to 75, and should accommodate the needs of the plant as it continues to grow.

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

I defoliated the 3 plants to give some light to all the branches. I broke one branch of the Cashew Kush during the watering. I inadvertently pulled on one of the string used for LST with the bottle cap. I also noticed that another branch of the Cashew Kush broke because of the LST, but the tip is still attached to the rest of the branch. I already broke 3 branches of this poor Cashew Kush so far, sorry little plant 😞 I also almost completely broke one branch of the Jack Herer but since it was still attached a bit, I've tried to fix it with some tape and wire. I already did that in the past and it worked but this time the extremity of the branch did not make it 😔 I'm now watering every 2 days. No fertilizer yet. Due to increasing humidity before defoliation, I put the fan ON 18h/day again. Humidity was around 65% before the defoliation and 62% after. For the last days of the week, I set the dehumidifier to 50%. I slightly reduced the light intensity from 75 to 70% to try to reduce the light burns of the top leaves. So I have spider mites. I screwed up so much i think this is going 15 weeks. Lost coast to the rescue! time to finish these buggers off

The grow is going great for my first time however I have made a lot of mistakes up to this point but the Gurlz are still thriving.

so the development on this lady has been VERY slow and has made very little bud production at all she also did not really stretch out at all from flower her buds are at the same stage at week 7 then the blackberry was at week 2 really , she is showing nor has all her life of any deficiencies what so ever , she has stay very short and stocky with good leave production " before i defoliated she was a real nice little bush " she smell amazing and the only was i can describe it when i touch her sugar leaves is exactly like chewing on the lemon "yellow" skittles sweet so can see exactly where the name came from for this strain. she as you would expect has not been drinking a great deal and i am still able too only feed her 8 pint of feed per week where as her sisters are taking 14 pints , but other than her staying small and not wanting too really produce yet she has been easy too grow even for a newbie such as my self and has been trouble free ,
